Both blasts came off starter Zach Neal who was charged with his second loss of the season, and first with Nashville since April 1. Rangel Ravelo provided the only offense for the Sounds when he belted his fifth home run of the season in the bottom of the third. His home run was one of just five hits for the struggling Nashville offense. Dylan Axelrod tossed all six innings for the Zephyrs and picked up win number six in the process.
