1 Thank you for purchasing the Hollander II Bike from Made.com Please take time to identify the hardware as well as the individual components of this product. As you unpack and prepare for assembly, place the parts on the floor, ideally on a padded area to protect them from damage. The assembly process might dirty your clothes, please use appropriate garments. NOTE: 2 people are required to safely assemble this product. THE MOST IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS FOR A NEW BICYCLE: - MAINTAIN YOUR TYRES WITH THE PROPER INFLATION PRESSURE. The correct inflation pressure is the maximum recommended by the manufacturer. You can find this recommended specification on the SIDEWALL OF YOUR TYRE and it s indicated in PSI and BAR. It s normal that the MAX INFLATION for a bicycle tyre is much higher than a car. Check your tyre pressure regularly. This will give you a smoother ride, make pedalling easier, and keep your tyres in good condition. - SADDLE HEIGHT. The saddle height is the most important setting for comfortable pedalling. If the saddle is too low, you ll have to work harder, making your pedalling less efficient. The correct saddle height is one where your leg is 95% straight when the pedal is at the lowest point (see Section 7 for more details and a picture). 2 1 - BICYCLE OUT OF THE BOX NOTE: Inside the box you ll find: - saddle - seatpost - pedals - front light - bell - assembly tools

3 2 - ATTACH THE HANDLEBAR Turn the fork to the front Unfold the kickstand Insert the handlebar stem into the front tube of the frame (make sure the low part of the stem is loose, if not, loosen the top bolt) Secure the stem by tightening the allen bolt with the 6mm allen key

4 3 - ATTACH THE MUDGUARD Flip the bike upside down Unscrew the nut that is already connected to the brake bolt Unscrew the bolts for the mudguard brackets from the end of the fork Insert the mudguard between the fork legs and the screws and tighten the nut with a 10mm wrench 3 - INSTALL THE MUDGUARD

5 4 - ATTACH THE WHEEL Secure the brakets to the fork end using a 10mm wrench Check the rotation of the wheel on the tyre sidewall Insert the wheel into the fork, making sure the axle is completely located within the end of the the fork Attach the washers to the wheel axle

6 5 - ATTACH THE SADDLE Tighten the nuts onto the axle with a 15mm wrench to secure the wheel in place Flip the bicycle back to a normal position and secure the kickstand Insert the seatpost into the bike frame (NB: do not let the seat tube slip to the bottom of the frame, if this happens by mistake, flip the bike upside down to take it out Secure the seatpost by turning the quick release lever

7 6 - ATTACH THE PEDALS Attach the saddle to the seatpost and secure it with a 13mm wrench (make sure the saddle bracket is completely inserted in the seat post) Attach the pedals to the corresponding side of the bike (L/R) Screw the pedals into the correct crank by hand (NB the left side pedal screws into the crank ANTICLOCKWISE direction) Secure the pedals with a 15mm wrench

8 7 - SET UP YOUR RIDING POSITION The correct saddle height is one where your leg is 95% straight in the lowest position of the pedal Saddle position must be straight On the stem that holds the handlebar, loosen the screw slightly so you can move it to a suitable position Once you ve found a comfortable position, tighten the screw firmly to secure it

9 Loosen the screw on the brake lever slightly so you can move it to a suitable position. A 5mm allen key is required Set up the position of the brake lever. The correct angle/position is one where your hand follows a straight line from your arm secure the position of the brake lever by tightening the bolt 8 -ATTACH THE ACCESSORIES Attach the bell to the handlebar using a Phillips screwdriver Add a plastic nut cap onto each of the 4 nuts (front and back wheels)

10 Attach the front LED light by tightening the nut and bolt to the bracket at the front of the frame, using a 10mm wrench and a Phillips screwdriver Secure the position of the headlamp by tightening the bolt underneath it with a Phillips screwdriver
