3 MINUTES OF THE GENERAL MEETING OF BATHURST LIGHT CAR CLUB HELD ON WEDNESDAY 26 AUGUST 2015, COMMENCING AT 7.35 PM ATTENDANCE: As per attendance book. APOLOGIES: Phil Burgett, Gwyn Mulholland, Helen Mulholland, John Paine, John Windsor. CONFIRMATION OF MINUTES OF MEETING HELD ON 29 JULY 2015 MOVED: SECONDED: John Markwick Ian Plenderleith MATTERS ARISING FROM MINUTES Scott Sims thanks all who helped out at the Hillclimb. CORRESPONDENCE No correspondence was received MOVED: SECONDED: n/a n/a TREASURERS REPORT Treasurers report was read by Robert Flood. MOVED: SECONDED: Scott Sims Michael Williamson QUARRY REPORT In absence of John Windsor, David Catt reported that the combined BLCC Hills District Khanacross was very successful with 2 courses being run concurrently. Competitors had 7 runs in total. Ces Evans queried if the issue of age with juniors participating in khanacross had been officially sorted out. Scott Sims advised that it had been and an official letter and Bulletin had been received from CAMS. Ron Moore congratulated all involved in the very professional running of the combined khanacross event. Scott advised that there had been a break-in at the Quarry. David Catt asked if a working bee could be organised to generally tidy up containers, install shelving, etc. Scott advised that he had obtained shelving for the containers. David suggested that the Club cars be parked in the containers for security purposes. GENERAL BUSINESS Welcome to new members Mick Tuckey welcomed new members Robert Cox and Daniel Cox, who had joined at the beginning of meeting.

4 Review Classes for Khanacross David Catt queried why 4X4 class was not broken up into engine capacity the same as classes for 2WD in Khanacross events. David was requested to draft a proposal and present it to the next Committee meeting. Need for Officials for upcoming and future events Michael Williamson called for people to volunteer for officials roles for future events. Last Khanacross Results not placed on website David Catt queried why the results of last Khanacross were not available on the website. Advised that this is due to Kathy being away and no one else with knowledge of editing website available to take over. After a short discussion, Ron Moore volunteered to help Kathy with the website. Ron was advised to liaise with Kathy and was thanked for volunteering to help out. 10 Ron & Jo Moore withdrew after SS5 Photo Geoff Benson Bathurst 200 Rally The favourite BLCC members to take outright dropped out early, the Ron and Jo Moore in SS5 and the Chapman/Grahame team in SS2 others were happy with the results. The Crowley s in their first rally were all smiles at the presentation, happy with their finish and the Tony Jordan John Hills battle was great. There will be a full report in the next Blower
