Powerday PLC - Have been London ABA's Principal Commercial Parter for the last three years and is a family owned waste and recycling company founded in 1980, delivering 100% waste recovery for organisations across London and beyond. Their support and funding has been the catalyst in delivering all of the positive outcomes in this report. Sport England - Is the countries largest investor in sport, committed to helping people and communities across the country creating sporting habits for life. This means investing in organisations and projects that will get more people playing sport and creating opportunities for people to excel at their chosen sport. Sport England has been an essential partner to London ABA our clubs and projects, ensuring targeted investment into club improvements, pro-active activity and interventions which have ensured growth, sustained participation and excellence in our sport has been achieved. London Boroughs - London has 33 Local Boroughs and Councils, who are key to sustaining the sport and it's offer in local and marginalized communities, their continued support for the provision and offer of voluntary community sport access and particularly boxing, is essential in delivering a long term legacy out of the London 2012 Olympic Games. KWT Printing - The London ABA sponsor of all branding and materials attached to the sport and events programmes throughout the year. Their support has been welcomed by all our clubs and supporters, in raising the profile, branding and image of London ABA and our appreciation is recorded to Bernard O Keefe and all his staff. London Sport - A key partner for London ABA, who work predominantly at a strategic level with local, regional and national partners in the public, voluntary and private sectors. They work flexibly across all sports and physical activities and at different spatial levels including within and across neighbourhoods, boroughs, and the London Sport sub regions. 3

4 INTRODUCTION PRESIDENT S MESSAGE It gives me great pleasure to submit this report to you all in connection with the last two years of activities and growth of London Amateur Boxing Association. We have once again seen an increase in our representation at National Finals and ships, which is an indicator of your success and professionalism in all that you do as voluntary clubs, working in the margins of society. The last couple of years have seen big changes in the sport and these have impacted on the planning the region has to carry out, and we thank you for your consideration as the entry criteria of all domestic championships, have been effected in some way or another and I thank you for your time and effort in being flexible and for your understanding. Please be assured your opinions and suggestions are being listened to by London ABA and will be shared widely as we seek in unison to make changes and gain benefit for Clubs, Boxers, Coaches, Officials and Volunteers, we look forward to another great year of success and growth of London Boxing driven by our splendid volunteer army across the capital and in conjunction with a wide range of partners and partnerships. My thanks in closing all our 120 clubs and projects for once again steering the organisation through a busy and pressurised period of change and again showing their commitment to the sport, young people, clubs and volunteers. Ron Philipson President London ABA MESSAGE AND REPORT FROM THE HON. SECRETARY As we approach a new season, it is relevant to reflect on what has been achieved and how best we can move forward whilst making further progress. I am pleased that London ABA as part of our drive to move the sports profile upwards and wider this year, accrued Television coverage for our London Elite ships, London v South of England Women s Challenge Event and the Haringey Boxcup, all of which were broadcast live and recorded by London Live TV. The growth of the sport has been driven by London ABA/ Powerday Development Partnership which has been driven by the generosity of Mick Crossan (Chairman Powerday), and has ensured the sport s growth and benefit s have been directed to clubs through resource, capital funding and partnerships. Our commitment to partnership working has also been increased with local authority commissioned partnerships being agreed and developed, and these will need to be built upon in the near future, to ensure our sport is pro-active in terms of continued Developmental Support by the Region and Powerday as our main partners. Whilst recognising growth, we are also proud to celebrate success and our praise needs to be recorded to Joe Joyce (Earlsfield ABC) and Nicola Adams (Haringey Police ABC) and John Johnson ( ABC) and their clubs on all winning Gold Medals at the recent European ships May I close by thanking the other four Divisional Secretaries, Ted Goreham, Richard Williams, Jack Danbury and Clare Khan and also the London ABA Voluntary Staff Ron Philipson, Geoff Born and Eddie Brown for their support and assistance throughout the last two years which have been a tremendous success for London ABA and it s clubs in growing the sport and increasing income and funding through the regions vision and strategy. 6 POWERDAY AND LONDON ABA PARTNERSHIP London ABA has developed and delivered a long term sponsorship agreement with Powerday PLC and thanks go to Mick Crossan for his support and foresight, the new agreement is for an initial 4 years worth over 150K. This is the first ever regional commercial boxing partnership created to support localised activity and development, and through the New Commercial Funding to London ABA from Powerday PLC, the effect has been very positive and it has helped London ABA build a fit for purpose regional support structure, developing and supporting the sport, participants and the 120 clubs and projects across London. Total Investment: 150K (4 years agreement, with an option for a further 2 years extension in place). NETWORK RAIL SCHOOLS SAFETY AND BOXING PROJECT London ABA, have created a unique and groundbreaking relationship with the nation s largest train systems provider Network Rail, to deliver a unique Boxing and Rail Safety project which is geared towards youth engagement, increasing participation and safety awareness around stations and railways. The Network Rail London Boxing Project was delivered in 13 selected Schools and continues through Boxing Awards delivery in the capital. Total Investment: ( 50,000 delivered in year one, including 10,000 funding from Sport England). DALE YOUTH BOXING CLUB London ABA has negotiated and led the future delivery of a New Club Headquarters for the Dale based within their current building, there will be extensive re-developments to a larger facility, with a construction and development value of circa 250,000, with improved space and training areas, supported by quality shower and changing areas, negotiated a new 25 year lease at the same time creating longevity for the club, who have recently developed and produced James Degale (Beijing Olympic Gold Medallist and World ) and George Groves (World Contender). External grant aid is also being sought and bids developed for the equipping of the New Gym which will hopefully be completed in WEST HAM BOXING CLUB The world famous West Ham Hammers boxing club, who have developed such iconic stars as Terry Spinks, Billy Walker and Dudley O Shaunessey, they have been supported by London ABA, in negotiating a New Premises agreement with the club committee and the London Borough of Newham, whilst also completing a successful Sport England Inspired Funding application. The New Club HQ at Plaistow, in a former Social Club, and is now in use offering high quality standard facilities, for their large membership. A minimal rent has also been negotiated with the London Borough Newham, for a substantial period. Total Investment: 57,000 (Sport England Inspired Facilities Award 50,000). GATOR BOXING CLUB The pre-eminent Gator boxing club has been in existence for over 80 years being formed out of a Bernado s project and having various homes, the current club facilities are an industrial unit (non-sporting environment) however after conversion was in need of updating and refurbishment, whilst also negotiating a long term lease, supported by the London Borough of Redbridge. Total Investment: 56,000 (Sport England Inspired Facilities Award 50,000). DAGENHAM POLICE AND COMMUNITY BOXING CLUB London ABA with the club negotiated a new 21 year lease and also reduced the proposed annual rental positively in mutuality with the club, the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham, to a satisfactory conclusion, new lease agreed and in force. With the club developed and delivered a Sport England Inspired Facilities application, which is was granted. The refurbishment has enhanced the look and feel of the facilities updating a former Bingo Hall on the main high street of Dagenham. Total Investment: 56,000 ( 50,000 Sport England Inspired Facilities Award). Total Investment on completion: 300,000 (Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea 250,000), New lease and rate relief (Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea). 6

7 REPTON BOYS CLUB The World famous who have produced and supported delivering world champions such as John.H.Stracey, Maurice Hope, Darren Barker and Olympic Medallists Billy Taylor and Audley Harrison, to name a few, have never received any external funding to improve their facilities, LABA has played a crucial role in ensuring much needed investment into their facilities was accrued. A Sport England Inspired Bid has been successfully developed and funding has been secured, with work completed. Total Investment: 58,000 ( 50,000 Sport England Inspired Award). CRANFORD ABC LABA with the new Cranford Boxing Club and Cranford Community School created and delivered a New Amateur Boxing Club following a successful Powerday/ Sportsmatch Boxing Scheme in the School. Following creation the club successfully applied for and delivered funding from Sported 3K (for Training Ring) and the Metropolitan Police 3K for equipment and these funds have been spent on equipment to fit out the gym ready for affiliation to London ABA and the club is flourishing Total Investment: 6,000 (Met Police 3,000 and Sported 3,000). HOLLINGTON YOUTH CLUB LABA supported the successful application and the completion of refurbishment of the Hollington Youth Club to improve the Boxing Gym, deliver New Changing and Shower Areas for male and female users, Improve the Main Gym Wall cladding and Central Heating. Total Investment: 60,000 ( 50,000 Sport England Inspired Facilities Award) 10,000 (Dulwich Trust). SPORTSMATCH Upon securing the initial Powerday (commercial funding) annual funding support an application and project was developed and successful in receiving match-funding from Sport England s former Sportsmatch scheme. Delivered the project reaching all of the targets and outcomes involving 18 London clubs and projects with qualified coaches based in schools, community facilities and clubs, for around 2000 participants, projects almost completed. Total Investment: 60,000 (Powerday and Sport England 30,000 each). BROMLEY AND DOWNHAM ABC AND YOUTH CLUB LABA assisted the youth club with support to funding agencies helping to create a funding package for a capital project and new boxing gym worth 300K. Developed and successfully gained a Sport England Small Grant for Bromley ABC worth 10K for new equipment to fully fit out the New larger purpose built facility, which is producing increases in membership and high performance standards, project is now completed. Total Investment: 310,000 ( 10,000 Sport England Small Grant secured LABA). DOUBLE JAB LABA played a key role in stimulating the upwardly mobile Double Jab club, through supporting the current young and committed coaches and committee through new lease negotiations with the London Borough of Lewisham. The club with support has also engaged with local schools very successfully and stage Sportivate women s boxing projects and gained a funding award from the London Borough of Lewisham. Total Investment: 13,000 ( 4,000 London Borough of Lewisham, Sported 9,000 and Sportivate ( 4,000). HARINGEY POLICE AND COMMUNITY ABC In partnership with the Club, London Borough of Haringey, LABA has supported the club in gaining an essential Small Grant Award, Sportivate and Tottenham Active funding to deliver much need new equipment and out-reach projects as the club expand their impressive community engagement and coaching work across the borough, through schools, private facilities and community partners. Total Investment: 12,000 (London Borough of Haringey and Sportivate 4,000 and Sport England 8,000). PALMERS ACADEMY ABC We have delivered an investment from the London Borough of Lewisham in to Palmers Academy which has increased the amount and quality of equipment the successful bid is to be supported with forthcoming, new applications for out-reach work and coaching building upon the excellent Palmers-Sedgehill Academy School club/links. Re- located the club in new premises and we are currently seeking other alternatives. 7 Total Investment: 4,000 (London Borough of Lewisham).

8 LYNN ABC The famous Lynn, has recently with LABA support sought external assistance from the Evening Standard Dispossed Fund against strong competition in the funding round, and successfully gained a 35,000 grant to support the clubs immediate future, ensuring London s oldest club continues to deliver success. The club was also supported successfully by LABA in gaining a Sport England Small Grant award to deliver a new Cardio Training Area and Apparatus, with Matting which is completed. The Lynn can now look forward to producing more international stars such as Terry Waller, Henry Akinwande and Danny Wiliams. Total Investment: 45,000 (ESDF 35,000 and Sport England 10,000). MARVELS LANE ABC LABA in conjunction with the club and with their partner landlords London Youth and London Borough of Lewisham BC have commenced and outlined future plans for a potential large scale capital Improvements project. Negotiations are ongoing, however the club have engaged positively with London Youth Trustees, in setting out a new lease and terms, for another 21 years. Successfully bid for 4,000 from London Borough of Lewisham for new equipment. Total Investment: 4,000 ( 4,000 London Borough of Lewisham and London youth new lease subsidiary of relief). COUNTY ABC The club is thriving and has consistently delivered growth, sustained participation and excellence in the sport. Total Investment: 10,000 ( 10,000 Sport England Small Grants Award). SELBY ABC LABA helped create another New Club at the hard to reach estate based Selby Centre (Ethnically Diverse and Multi-Cultural), negotiated a new boxing club base who have now affiliated to London and are flourishing in their new surroundings. Jointly with the club and key partner the London Borough of Haringey, attracted over 18,000 of Sportivate, Sported and Sport England Small Grants and partnership funding, delivering out-reach projects and a new ring and equipment whilst supporting hire charges to establish the club. Total Investment: 18,000 (Sport England Small Grant 10,000, Sported Funding 2,000 and 6,000 Sportivate bids from Pro-Active North London and London Borough of Haringey). 8 LONDON CLUB LEASE AND RENTAL REVIEWS London Boxing Led Lease and Rent Reviews with a wide range of London Boroughs and Partners for and with 12 London based Clubs and has assured a Saving and Value in Kind investment of over 4 Million, whilst ensuring security of tenure and supporting sustainability, through a massive subsidy. Total Savings and Value in Kind investment/ Subsidy into London Boxing Clubs: 4 Million. SPORTEDUCATE This innovative project supported by Deutsche Bank and delivered through their innovative partnership has enabled LABA to deliver two projects with London boxing clubs, the first pilot scheme was through the eminent Fitzroy Lodge (Lambeth) and a new project is planned for Perdro Boxing Club (Hackney). This unique project seeks to use Sporteducate as a programme designed by Sported to help young people to gain specific educational outcomes through sport. Deutsche Bank has provided 33 Sported members (two of these are boxing clubs) in London with funding over a four year period to develop projects aimed at engaging year olds at risk of exclusion from school and becoming NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training). Total Investment: 60,000 Sporteducate/ Sported and Deutsche Bank (Three Year Projects). SPORTEDUCATE After the successful first year of the Deutsche Bank sponsored NEET Project (Not in Employment, Education or Training), which is managed and delivered through Sported, the outcomes delivered through the two boxing projects in London through Fitzroy Lodge and Pedro boxing clubs, using the sport as an intervention and engagement tool have been impressive. The second year of funding has been agreed and is in place to continue this excellent project, which is impacting positively for the young people who have been targeted. Total Investment: 20,000 (Deutsche Bank and Sported second year funding allocated). MARVELS LANE London ABA with the club have successfully negotiated a New 21 year Lease for the club premises with their partner organisation London Youth, which has delivered a subsidised peppercorn rent agreement for the full period and rate relief has been applied for and gained generously from the London Borough of Lewisham.

9 STREETGAMES LABA has directly engaged with the vibrant and successful sports charity Streetgames, who seek to bring sport to the doorstep of young people in disadvantaged communities across the UK, London and LABA, is committed to deliver 3 Projects ready for launching this year through haringey police, Double Jab and Bexley clubs, for potential 3 year projects. These projects will bring the Doorstep Club ethos and sporting opportunities to the local areas of the three clubs, seeking new ways of delivering sport and participation opportunities for young people in hard to reach areas and estates. BEXLEY London ABA supported the successful Bexley club in gaining local funding from the London Quadrant Housing Association, who are the local housing affordable management group, to assist the club to flourish further and maintain their offer of boxing in the locality and intervention work. The joint working also accrued a Sport England Small Grant Award for a Unique Female and Young People s project at the club premises and engaging more with the youth club, where they are based. Total Investment: 10,000 (London Quadrant Housing Association 5,000 and Sport England Small Grant Award 5,000). Total Investment: 45, 000 Streetgames (Three Year Projects). DOUBLE JAB With London ABA support applied for and gained a Sport England Small Grant Award, to extend their out-reach programmes and improve their equipment stock numerically to meet demand created through the relationships developed through Deptford Academy and Goldsmith s College, engaging with over 300 pupils and students, in recreational activity and offering competition to those who wish to progress further. The club gained a generous award of funding from the Deptford Challenge Fund, to engage and deliver in the locality for hard to reach and marginalised groups and individuals. Total Investment: 12,000 ( 10,000 Sport England Small Grant Award and 2,000 from the Deptford Challenge Fund). EAST LONDON BOXING ACADEMY The club have achieved so much in restricted conditions and under financial pressure and has survived, in the last year New Facilities have been identified and negotiations have been completed with the local authority, with support from the local MP, London ABA have played a part in this networking process. The region also have assisted the club in gaining a Sport England Small Grant Award to provide much needed New Equipment to meet the demand being shown and created through this well governed and managed club, further development and plans are being rolled out to ensure growth is maintained and assured. Total Investment: 10,000 ( 10,000 Sport England Small Grant Award, Local Authority Facility Subsidies also in place). LONDON BOROUGH SERVICE LEVEL AGREEMENTS London ABA for last two years has developed and delivered specific outcomes through two main partner Boroughs in London namely Haringey and Lewisham. These pro-active local authorities have made partnerships with London ABA set against service level agreements to support the local clubs and deliver targets across their boroughs, whilst increasing participation. London ABA is looking to engage more of the successful partnerships in the future. Total Investment: 40,000 (London Borough of Lewisham and London Borough of Haringey). LOUGHBOROUGH ESTATE BOXING PROJECT This New Boxing Project has been supported and guided by London ABA, in accruing local Housing Association Funding to establish and equip the club and make use of a Basement Area in the Loughborough Estate Tower Blocks, the funding is for two years and as partners we will be seeking further external funds to support the project and affiliate the club to London ABA for this year and expand their outreach work in local schools. Total Investment: 20,000 ( 20,000 Loughborough Tenants Association). AFEWEE London ABA have supported this New Club in Brixton through affiliation and establishment, whilst also assisting the club in gaining a Sport England Small Grant Award to develop the clubs equipment base and meet a large demand for the sport in the area, through extending the offer of boxing in and outside of their club base in the Brixton Sports Centre. The club has thrived and will have their first competitors this forthcoming season. Total Investment: 10,000 Sport England (Small Grant Award). 9

10 LONDON MILITARY AND TERRITORIAL ARMY AMATEUR BOXING CLUB As a key partner to London ABA the region was very keen and supportive to the LMTAABC and has successfully delivered a Sport England Small Grant Award to provide much needed extra equipment to meet the demand being shown and to facilitate the 'New Out -Reach Work' the club is due to undertake as target of this project. Total Investment: 10,000 (Sport England Small Grant Award and Club Funding). LONDON LIVE TV London ABA, have always had a commitment to expand the profile and positive images of the sport and this year exceptional New Ground was made through an innovative relationship with London Live TV, to initially broadcast the London ABA Elite Finals from Fairfield Halls in Croydon. The Live Broadcast was a success and two further events were Broadcast Live the first of these events was the first ever London AB V South of England All Women s Challenge Match and secondly the immensely successful and high profile Haringey Boxcup, the feedback has been excellent as we seek to develop a long term relationship with the capital s TV Channel London Live TV. Total Investment: 150,000 ( 150,000 London Live TV, Broadcast and Production Costs). CROYDON AMATEUR BOXING CLUB The Croydon ABC have survived poor training facilities and still met demand and had success. However after carrying out a facilities audit London ABA contacted the local authority seeking support and engagement for the club to relocate. This project has taken 18 months to reach fruition, however the London Borough of Croydon with London ABA and Croydon ABC, have delivered a 'New Home for the Club' in the Norbury Park Pavilion. This joined up approach by London ABA has also enabled the local authority being very pro-active and the borough has sourced and allocated Section 106 Funding whilst also delivering a subsidised lease as part of a community asset transfer project. Total Investment: 60,000 (London Borough of Croydon and 25 year subsidised lease). EARLSFIELD The prolific and nationally renowned Earlsfied ABC in Wandsworth, who have produced the 2015 European Super Heavyweight Joe Joyce, with support from London ABA successfully applied for a Sport England Inspired Facilities Grant Award, to develop a mezzanine floor area above their current gym and deliver a new female shower and changing area, whilst improving the male shower and changing areas. The project is currently underway and will be completed in 2015 and will allow the club to expand their out- reach work and improve their facilities, whilst increasing membership and user groups. Total Investment: 55,000 Sport England Inspired Facilities Award and Club Funding. 10

11 CARNEY S COMMUNITY PROJECT As a partner organisation which has been formed out of Fitzroy Lodge in memory of Mick Carney, London ABA have been please to support and assist the Carney s Community Project in accessing much needed funds to deliver a unique Boxing element to their overall scheme of projects and offers, we will continue to work closely with them to fully develop their potential in their new facilities in Wandsworth. Total Investment: 10,000 ( 10,000 Sport England Small Grant Application). LONDON ABA ELITE CHAMPIONSHIPS The region with help from our supporters and partners successfully staged the Elite ships and each of the bouts where kindly sponsored by individual companies and we are grateful for their support and generosity and we recognise the following companies: Powerday, London Ex-Boxers Association, Boxing Awards, Barking Brick Work, Hyva, Volvo Trucks, DAF Trucks, Boughton Engineering. Total Investment: 4,000 (Individual Sponsors). HARINGEY POLICE AND COMMUNITY ABC With the local authority of the London Borough of Haringey, the club with London ABA have developed coaching projects in a primary school (holiday periods) and in the Broadwater Farm Sports Centre, engaging with hard to reach groups and individuals. These two partnerships developed and staged with local authority funding has delivered excellent outcomes which have been well received and the club has been used as an exit route for any of the participants to use and take the next step into the sport. Total Investment: 7,000 ( 7,000 London Borough of Haringey /Tottenham active). WEST HAM The famous Hammers Club have for many years been particularly active in the local community and as part of this ongoing community and education partnership network, have been allocated a Sport England Small Grant Award, to expand their out-reach project within Schools and Colleges with some extra equipment required to meet demand being experienced in the New Facilities. Total Investment: 10,000 ( 8,000 Sport England Small Grant Award and Club Funds). LONDON ABA WOMEN AND GIRLS PARTICIPATION AND COMPETITION The Region has successfully applied for and gained a Sport England Small Grant Award, to specifically support and develop Women and Girls Participation, the London ABA. We will stage 6 events geographically spread across London and will feature taster sessions at the Events and Competitions, the inaugural event took place at the London ABA V South of England all female event at the Ta Centre in Grove Park, Lewisham, which was a fantastic success, and televised live by London Live TV. Total Investment: 8,200 ( 8,200 Sport England Small Grant Award). TRINIFOLD London ABA this year found a New Sponsor to kindly fund the London ABA Schools ships awards, which are the unique London ship Belts, which are so dearly sought after and fought for at the highest levels. The new sponsor Trinifold is managed by Bill Curbishley, who also supports annually other boxing clubs. 12 O NEILL S - POWERDAY BURSARY CLOTHING POWERDAY ATHLETE BURSARIES Powerday as the Principal Partners of London ABA, this year through their Chairman Mick Crossan, created and funded the First Ever Corporate Athlete Bursary Scheme for young boxers, from the London ABA Area. Each of the 8 young recipients were given an annual bursary award to assist their development and support their travel and training costs. The scheme is an Annual Programme and is having positive effects already on this year s successful applicants, as the funding is helping fill funding the gap and slippage between regional and national funding and supporting the Boxers on their Performance Pathway. Powerday kindly accrued sponsorship from O Neill s (Sports Clothing), for all of the Powerday Bursary Award Winners, supplying Tracksuits, T-Shirts, Sweat Tops and Kit Bags. The awards were high quality clothing which will identify the successful applicants and reflect the prominent position they have achieved. Total Investment: 2,000 ( 2,000 O Neills Sports Clothing Value in Kind Sponsorship). Total Investment: 4,000 ( 4,000 Powerday Commercial Sponsorship). 12

13 BOXING AWARDS The innovative Boxing Awards project has been delivered widely across London in various setting and facilities, particularly schools with over 20 individual projects, being successfully delivered against a scheme which is clearly based on key stage educational outcomes, and has been praised by teachers across the capital for the content and positive delivery. These activities and incremental growth has jointly been developed and staged between Boxing Awards, Powerday, Network Rail and London ABA, have delivered 36 New School Projects, 15 New Boxing Club and Community Projects, Training up over 500 New Boxing Tutors, who are now providing non-contact boxing and developing School/ College-Club Links for over 6,000 participants, both male and female school children or students on a regular basis within their education settings. 13

14 SUMMARY Funding and Grants Attracted through London ABA/Powerday Development Programmes of Activity over the last two years report are as follows: In summary the impressive investment, activity and relationships which have been developed and delivered are achieving an actual New Money and Value in Kind Investment as follows: Funding into capital and revenue projects attracted through Powerday and London Amateur Boxing Association Interventions and development support: 1.75 million Savings and re-negotiated preferential terms of tenure and costs ensuring clubs and projects sustainability: 4 million Total Two year (2013/2015) External Investment: 5.75 million This immense investment figure of 5.75 million has been sourced through the London ABA/ Powerday development programme has been directly paid either to clubs or through financial commitments by London Boroughs and partners by way of subsidised agreements for clubs. This 5.75 million of investment has nearly trebled the 2 million total targeted and identified within the London Whole Sport Plan 2013/17 and indeed exceeded that target by a further 3.75 million in the last 2 years of activity and development. This positive pro-active activity and development has been based upon a strong strategy and commitment to community sport, places London ABA is in a very strong position to deliver impact in local communities even further whilst growing and sustaining participation and delivering excellence at all levels for participants, clubs, coaches and volunteers, thereby under-pinning the Sport England, England Boxing and Government targets for community sport participation. LONDON AMATEUR BOXING CLUBS VOLUNTARY AND FINANCIAL IMPACT London Amateur Boxing Clubs voluntary impact into the London sporting and community landscape over the last two years of this report equates to the following outcomes: There are 120 London ABA Clubs/ Projects providing volunteer time and coaching through these facilities and centres at an average value of over 60,000 each giving a sub total of 7.2 Million per annum. There are 120 London ABA Clubs/ Projects providing voluntary funding for annual expenditure on rent, rates, travel, affiliations, utilities, equipment, coach education and insurances of over 20,000 average each giving a sub total of over 2.4 Million per annum. The total London ABA Clubs/ Projects annual value of volunteer time and expenditure in running and operational costs equates to a total value and an annual impact figure of an impressive 9.6 million thereby equalling a voluntary financial investment into the sport and London Sporting landscape of circa 20 Million pounds over the last 2 years.
