Minutes & Matters Arising from the Previous Meeting The minutes of the RCC Meeting held on Thursday 7 th March 2013 were approved as an accurate record of the meeting with no matters arising. RCC Standing Orders as approved by CSB Chairman informed the changes in RCC standing orders as approved by CSB. Matters for Decision 3. RCC Exec Elections Joe Rumer (RCC Chair) acted as returning officer. For each position the candidates gave a short speech and then questions were taken from the RCC and a vote was held. At this meeting, positions of Chair and Events Officer were filled, the position of Communications Officer remains vacant. RCC Grant Redistribution Process Resolved 1: To accept with the amendment of allowing Sports Imperial booking extended until end July For: 30 Abstain: 0 5. Change of Membership Fee (Wakeboarding) Resolved 2: To accept the membership fee change

5 6. Constitution Changes It was noted that any matters not defined in club/society constitutions are typically covered by the ICU constitution and bye-laws, such as the definition of quoracy. In addition, phrases to the effect of each committee member shall hold only one committee position in any year may be interpreted as only one committee position at any one time. i. 6 Resolved 7: After discussion, to accept the constitution subject to the following amendments: REMOVE: 5.6 Once a person is elected to the committee he or she will remain on the committee for no more than 4 years subject to the following conditions; A committee member is voted into a given post, but his or her position can be reallocated subject to the president s discretion for each academic year A committee member can be removed through a vote of no confidence which must take place at the AGM. The vote is reached by a simple majority of the voting members present. Should a vote of no confidence be passed the standard electoral process takes place as stated in section 8. CHANGE: 4. Membership 4.1 Those wishing to become members of the club must meet the membership eligibility requirements set out in section three of the ICU Constitution. TO: 4. CHANGE: The election system is a First past the post system, i.e. the successful candidate is the one who has the most votes. Funkology The constitution was deferred for reformatting and will be discussed in the next meeting. 7. Any Other Business i. Change of Membership Fee (Caving) Resolved 8: To accept the Caving membership fee change from 23 to 30. For: 27
