1 2015 Golf Coaches Association of Wisconsin Girls All-State Teams First Team Mikayla Hauck (Senior) Monona Grove Mikayla s parents are Kim Hauck and Jodi Ray, Coach is Kevin Grahn. Through the HS season, Mikayla had a scoring average of 37.4, finishing top 3 in all but 1 event, including 10 first place, 4 second, and 1 third. She won the Crusade Fore a Cure with a career low 2 under par; matched career low scores for 9 (33) and 18 (71), both at the Conference Tournament; and finished Day 1 of the State Tournament with a 72 for the lead. Mikayla is the Badger South Conference Player of the Year (runner up previous year), and back to back two time Conference Tournament Champion, as well as back to back two time Regional Champion. She has been All Conference and All State for 4 years, and Academic All State the 3 years eligible. Additionally, Mikayla is the back to back two time Wisconsin PGA Junior Player of the Year, as well as the top ranked Wisconsin girl in all national/international rankings. She will attend Eastern Kentucky next fall on scholarship, playing golf for the Colonels. Hallie Speedy Kent (Sophomore) Homestead Speedy s parents are Rick and Cindy. Coach is John Krueger. Speedy had a scoring average of She was meet medalist at Lake Geneva Invite, Whistling Irish Invite, 3 NSC Mini Meets and the WIAA Regional. Speedy had the lowest scoring average in the North Shore Conference and finished 7th in the WIAA State Meet. She was named Academic All-State and 1st Team All-State by the Golf Coaches Association of Wisconsin. Speedy was named 1st team All-Area for the second consecutive year by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. She helped lead her team to a conference championship, and a sixth place finish at the WIAA State Meet. Ashley Kulka (Junior) Beaver Dam Ashley s parents are Holly and Brad. Coach is Bob McIntyre. She was the individual WIAA State champion for Ashley had a 38.6 scoring average this season. She was named to Academic All-State Team for the 2nd straight year and was a Honorable mention All-State Golfer last year. She finished first at Fondy Invite, Wisconsin Dells Invite (Div.1) and was the Wisconsin Little Ten Player of the Year while setting WLT record low score with a 33 at Old Hickory CC that included 5 birdies. College-undecided, pre med major. 13th state-2014, 5th Katelyn Martin (Senior) Mukwonago Kate is the daughter of Jennifer and Jim. Her coach at Mukwonago High School is Jay Christiansen. In earning her spot on the GCAW All-State First Team, she was medalist in four Classic Eight Conference Mini-Meets, she earned First Team All-Conference and the title of Conference Player of the Year, she garnered medalist honors in both Regional and Sectional play, and ultimately finished third individually in the WIAA Division 1 State Tournament. Her stroke average for the year was Kate recently was named the Milwaukee Journal/Sentinel Player of the Year. This fall Kate will be playing golf for the North Dakota State Bisons. Loren Skibba (Senior) Middleton (Player of the Year) Loren s parents are Marsha and Al. Coach is Becky Halverson. Loren had a scoring average of She finished first at the Edgewood Invite, Waunakee Invite, and Janesville Parker Invite. Loren was the Big 8 Conference Player of the Year. She was also named to the Academic All- State Team for the third straight year. This is her second year earning First Team All- State. Loren finished 2nd place individually at State in She helped her team finish first place at State. Loren will attend Northern Arizona University next fall and will play golf for the Lumberjacks. Alexis Thomas (Junior) Middleton Alexis s mom is Susie. Coach is Becky Halverson. Alexis had a scoring average of She was the 2015 Big 8 Conference Tournament Medalist. She was 1 st Team All Big 8. She was also named to the Academic All-State Team for the second year in a row. Alexis shot a personal best one under par 71 on day two of the State Tournament to finish in fourth place individually. 5 2014 Golf Coaches Association of Wisconsin Girls All-State Teams First Team Grace Dunn (Brookfield Central) Grace s parents are Kevin and Mary Jo. Coach is Brian Scrobel. Grace (the two time GMC player of the year) finished the year with a 36.6 scoring average. She was medalist in 5 events during the season and finished in the top 5 in the rest of them. She holds every Brookfield Central and Greater Metro Conference scoring record including a 68 at the GMC Championship this year. Grace (a 4 year MVP) advanced to the State Tournament for the fourth straight season, and finished 4th at State for the second year in a row. This is her 4th year earning All-State (and the first as 1st Team). She also was named to the Academic All-State Team for three straight years. Grace will play golf at Drake University next fall. *Tess Hackworthy* (Edgewood) Tess s parents are Dave and Amie. Coach is Peggy Gierhart. Her scoring average was breaking the all time Edgewood scoring record. She had 6 wins this season. She did not place out of the top 3 in any event. Tess shot under par 8 times including a at the BCH Invite. She won the Morgan Stanley Invite at University Ridge shooting 68, and repeated as sectional champion with a 71. Tess won the Division 2 state individual title shooting She was selected to first team all conference and first team all-city for 4 years. She has been selected to an All-State team for 4 years. She has earned Academic All State honors the last 3 years. She will play golf at University of Wisconsin-Madison next year. Anika Hitt (Homestead) Anika s parents are Brad and Karol. Coach is John Krueger. Anika had the most successful season in the rich history of Homestead Girls Golf. She had a scoring average, while leading her team to her fourth trip to the WIAA State Championships. Anika was first in 14 of the 17 meets this season, finishing it off with her second consecutive State Runner-Up honor. She was North Shore Conference Player of the Year for the second year in a row posting the lowest conference average (34.5) in NSC history. Anika has been a member of the Academic All-State team three years in a row and will continue on next year at the University of Cincinnati.

6 Caroline Lake (Edgewood) Caroline s parents are Peter and Uli. Coach is Peggy Gierhart. Her scoring average was Caroline finished in the top 5 in every event of the season. She shot a 67 at Mee- Kwon at the BCH Invite breaking the course record. She had 4 wins including the Crusade Fore a Cure Invite. She shot 69 at the Madison City Meet and won her Regional with a 72. Caroline shot to take second at the Division 2 state tournament. She was selected to first team all conference and first team all city for 4 years and was named city player of the year for the second year. She has been selected to an All State team for 4 years. She has earned Academic All State honors the last 3 years. She will play golf at Creighton University next year. Jessica Reinecke (Verona Area) Jessica s parents are Kim and David Reinecke. Coach is Bailey Hildebrandt. Jessica had a scoring average of Jessica finished top 5 in every event she participated in and had 12 first place finishes including WPGA Invite, Cardinal Invite, Regionals and Sectionals. Jessica was the Big 8 Conference player of the year for the fourth straight year. She was also named to the academic all-state team. Jessica will attend the University of Wisconsin next fall and will play golf for the Badgers. Loren Skibba (Middleton) Loren s parents are Al and Marsha. Coach is Becky Halverson. Loren had a scoring average of She had five wins this season including the Big 8 Conference Tournament with a 75. She finished second at both Regionals and Sectionals. Loren was also named to first team all conference. Loren won her first Division 1 state championship this year shooting a 69 on day one, tying her personal best, and a 78 on day two *Player of the Year

Coach is Bailey Hildebrandt. Jessica had a scoring average of Jessica was first or tied for first at 9 events including the Morgan Stanley Invite, the Cardinal Invite (where she shot her season low 69), the Conference Tournament and Regionals. Jessica was named the Big 8 Conference Player of the year for the third year in a row. She was also named to the academic allstate team. Jessica won her second Division 1 state championship this year shooting a 69 on day one, tying her season best, and a 74 on day two. SIENNA CHAPMAN (12) The Prairie School Sienna s parents are Kristin and John Chapman. Coach is Carrie Massey. Sienna had a scoring average of She finished top 5 in every event she played in. She had 7 first place finishes including a 70 at the Parker Invite and 70 at Regionals. She was the regional and sectional champion. She finished 5 th at the state tournament. This is her second year selected to the first team. Sienna will be attending Brown University next year. TESS HACKWORTHY (11) Edgewood High School Parents are Amie and David. Coach is Peggy Gierhart. Tess had a scoring average of She had 5 wins this season. She finished in the top 5 in 5 statewide invites. Tess won the Badger Conference meet with a 72. She was the sectional champion with 74. Tess was named to first team all city and all conference. Tess was named to the Academic All-State team for the second year. ANIKA HITT (11) Homestead High School Anika s parents are Karol and Brad. Coach is John Krueger. Anika s scoring average was She had 12 first place finishes including the Pius Invite and BCH Classic with a first round 69. She won her Conference meet, Regionals and Sectionals. At the sectional, Anika shot a course record 66 at Hartford Golf Club. She finished second at the WIAA Division 1 State tournament. REBECCA KLONGLAND (12) Stoughton High School Parents are Scott and Molly. Coach is Dave Taebel. Becky finished the year with a 36.4 scoring average. She was medalist in seven events during the season. She was Badger Conference Player of the Year. She advanced to the State Tournament for the third straight season as an individual. Becky finished third at State, her third year in the row in the top 5. This is her third year earning First Team All-State. She also was named to the Academic All-State Team for three straight years. Becky will attend the University of Wisconsin next fall.

10 CAROLINE LAKE (11) Edgewood High School Parents are Pete and Uli Lake. Coach is Peggy Gierhart. Caroline had a scoring average of Caroline finished top 5 in every event of the season with 5 wins. She won the Crusade Fore a Cure Invite. She won the City Meet. She was regional champion. She won the WIAA Division 2 state championship with a 3 under 141 shooting her career low 68 on the second day. She set a school state scoring record. Caroline was named to first team all city and player of the Year. She was named to the all conference team. She was named to the Academic All State team for the second year. JESSIE STAED (12) Notre Dame Academy Parents are Joe and Susan. Coach is Brian Bobinski. Jessie set the school record for season scoring average with a She also set the 18 hole course record and school record with 68 at Thornberry Creek. Jessie was the Player of the Year in Fox River Classic Conference. She won ten events during her senior season and finished 6th at the State Tournament. Jessie was also named Academic All State. 12 FIRST TEAM ALL-STATE 2012 GOLF COACHES ASSOCIATION OF WISCONSIN GIRLS ALL-STATE TEAMS CASEY DANIELSON (Player of the Year) (12) Osceola High School Parents are Liz and Craig Danielson. Coach is Jason Harelson. Casey had a scoring average of this year. She was medalist in every match she competed in including the state tournament. She posted her best scores of the year at Regionals (65) and at state (66). Day one of state was also a course record. She has won the state tournament 4 years in a row! She will be attending Stanford University next year. LEIGHANN CABUSH (12) Kettle Moraine High School Parents are Beth and Tom Cabush. Coach is Jeff Duchin. Leighann had a scoring average of Leighann defended her medalist title at the HBC Classic with a 2 day total of 140. She was the medalist at the Milton Best Ball, Classic-8 Megameet #2, The Waukesha County Invite and Regionals. She received the Classic-8 Player of the Year award. She had a 3rd place finish at the state tournament. She was named to the academic all-state team for 3 years. Leighann will be attending Memphis next year. SIENNA CHAPMAN (11) The Prairie School Parents are John and Kristin Chapman. Coach is Carrie Massey. Sienna had a 37.4 season scoring average. She was a medalist winner in all but one event this year. Her individual best and school record 66 was shot at Winagamie GC. Sienna was WIAA regional and sectional winner with scores of 72/76 respectively. She was 3rd at state in scoring shooting helping her team place 2nd for the second straight year. Sienna was named to the academic all-state team for the second year. GABBY CURTIS (10) Altoona Parents are Jeff and Stacey Curtis. Coach is Tim Kaiser. Gabby had a scoring average of this year. She was medalist at both regionals and sectionals. She posted her best score of year at Regionals shooting 70. She is a two time individual Boys State Golf qualifier, finishing 4th and 10th respectively. Gabby also received Academic All-State recognition. She has committed to attend the University of Wisconsin in BROOKE FERRELL (12) Edgerton High School Parents are Leslie and Brad Ferrell. Coach is Steve Zartman. Her scoring average was 36.7 She had 11 first place finishes including 4 statewide invitationals, conference and sectionals. She is 3 time Rock Valley Conference Player of the Year. She shot 69 twice this season at the Portage Invite and Cardinal Invite. This is her 3rd first team all-state award. Brooke will be attending University of Wisconsin-Madison next year. EMILY JOERS (12) Waukesha West High School Parents are Val and Jeff Joers. Coach is Adam McDonald. Emily had a scoring average of She had 5 first place finishes including her sectional. She is a two time state champion winner and this year placed second for the second time with a score of 150. Emily has been selected to first team all-state for 4 years in a row with 2 co-player of the year honors. Emily was named to the academic all-state team for the third year. Emily has committed to University of Illinois. REBECCA KLONGLAND (11) Stoughton High School Parents are Molly and Scott Klongland. Coach is Dave Taebel. Becky s scoring average was She was medalist in 8 events. She was player of the year for the Badger South Conference. She advanced to the state tournament as an individual and finished 4th. She was also named to the Academic All-State Team for the second year. This is Becky s second year on the All-State first team.

Jessica has a scoring average of Jessica was the medalist at the Waunakee Invite and came in second at both the Portage and Beaver Dam Invites. She was first at her sectional with a 75. She was the Big 8 Conference Player of the year for the second year in a row. Jessica was named to the academic all-state team. Jessica was the Division 1 state champion this year shooting a 77 on day one and a career best 70 on day 2. LOGAN WILLIS (12) Kohler High School Parents are Karla and Dirk Willis. Coach is Dirk Willis. Logan competed on the Boy s team for Kohler and had a scoring average of 37.38, breaking her school record of Logan had a school record 11 first place finishes including the CLC Conference Tournament, Regionals, plus a 2nd place finish at Sectionals. She was named CLC Golfer of Year and is a 4- time 1st Team All-Conference player. Logan earned top 9 individual finishes the last two years at the Boy s State Tournament. Logan was named to the academic all-state team for the third year. Logan has committed to play at Loyola University. Casey had a scoring average of this season. She was medalist in every event she played in this season. She had 6 under par rounds. She won her conference meet, regional and sectional. She shot 66 at sectionals. She won her 3rd consecutive WIAA Division 2 State Championship. She has been named player of the year for the second year in a row. Emily Joers (Co-Player of Year) Waukesha 11 Parents are Val and Jeff Joers. Coach is Adam McDonald. Emily was medalist in 14 events. Emily was the Classic 8 Player of the Year for the third consecutive year. She claimed individual titles at many prestigious invites include: WPGA, Pius Invitational, Crusade for the Cure, Waukesha County, and Fond du Lac Invite. She continues to set school records as her 9 hole average was Emily also had 4 sub 70 rounds. Emily captured her second WIAA Division 1 State Championship this year. She has been named player of the year for the second year in a row. Leighann Cabush Kettle Moraine 11 Parents are Beth and Tom Cabush. Coach is Jeff Duchin. Leighann shot four 18 hole rounds under par this season. She was the medalist at the BCH Classic with 143. She was the medalist at the Cardinal Spartan Invite with a 69. She was medalist at Regionals with a 68. She tied for 1st at Sectionals with 73. Leighann tied for 2nd at State with rounds of 79 & 70. Brooke Ferrell Edgerton 11 Parents are Leslie and Brad Ferrell. Coach is Steve Zartman. Brooke had a scoring average of Brooke led the team to the Rock Valley Conference title. She was selected as Rock Valley Conference Player of the Year. She was medalist in 8 events including a 69 at Riverside GC in winning the Parker Invite. Brooke tied for 3rd at the state tournament. Lexi Greytak Madison Edgewood 11 Parents are Jill and Bob Greytak. Coach is Peggy Gierhart. Lexi had a scoring average of 38.3 this season. She was medalist in 8 events this year. 18 2010 WHSGCA GIRLS ALL STATE TEAMS Congratulations to all the girls nominated and selected to the Wisconsin High School Golf Coaches Association All-State teams. Fifty-four players were nominated by coaches throughout the state. The following girls were selected to the First, Second, Third and Honorable Mention Teams. WHSCGA ALL-STATE FIRST TEAM Casey Danielson (Co-Player of the Year) Casey is a sophomore at Osceola High School. Her Coach is John Renninger. Her parents are Craig and Liz Danielson. She had a stroke average of 36. She placed first in every tournament she entered this season. She shot an amazing at University Ridge in the state tournament to break the overall scoring record and to take Division 2 medalist honors. She was also selected to the 2009 WHSGCA All-State First Team. Her coach says, Not only does she have excellent course awareness but when you combine that with her maturity level, you have a true winner. Emily Joers (Co-Player of the Year) Emily is a sophomore at Waukesha West High School. Her coach is Adam McDonald. Her parents are Jeff and Val Joers. Her stroke average was 36.6 which was a school record. She was the player of the year in the Classic 8. Emily had 11 first place finishes. She finished first in seven 18 hole events this year including her conference meet, regionals and sectionals. She was 5 under par through 16 in the rain shortened EHS Invite. She won the Crusade Fore a Cure and Fond du lac Invite, and Waukesha County Championship where she shot a 69. She was under par 7 times this season. Emily finished in second place at the 2010 State tournament with rounds of Lizi Brooks Lizi is a senior at Waunakee High School. Her coach is Paul Miller. Her parents are Lew and Mary Kay Brooks. Her stroke average was a Lizi s season was filled with top five finishes in nearly every event she entered this season. She won her conference meet and both her regional and sectionals. Many highlights include a course record 71 at Portage C.C. and a course record 67 at the Meadows of Six Mile Creek during the WIAA Sectional. Lizi led her team to its first state championship at the 2010 WIAA State Tournament where she took third individually. Lizi plans on playing golf at Campbell University in North Carolina next year. Alexandra Douglas Alex is a senior at Madison East High School. Her coach is Mark Buffat. Her parents are Mike and Kari Douglas. Her stroke average was She was medalist 6 times this season including the Waunakee Invite, the SVA Invite and the Beaver Dam Regional. She is a three time Big 8 Conference 1st Team member and 2nd consecutive Big 8 Player of the year. She is the All-City player of the year and the Distinguished Senior Award recipient. She is a three time WHSGA All-Academic selection with a 4.0 GPA. She was the team captain the last 2 seasons. She is a member of the National Honor Society, Foreign Language Society and BETA Club. Also she s a three year student congress officer, three year member of the show choir and High Honor Roll Society. Her coach is quoted as saying she is the best female golfer in the history of Madison East High School. Brooke Ferrell

19 Brooke is a sophomore at Edgerton High School. Her coach is Steve Zartman. Her parents are Brad and Leslie Ferrell. Her scoring average was Brooke finished first in 13 events in a row including regionals and sectionals. She finished under par 5 times including a 68 at the Cardinal-Spartan invite at Pleasant View GC. She fired a 7 under 64 at Riverside GC this past summer. She is the Rock Valley Conference Player of the year. Ashton Stair Ashton is a senior at Milton High School. Her coach is Andrea Wieland. Her parents are Brett and Patrice Stair. Her scoring average was She had several consistent top-5 finishes in major invites throughout the year including a WIAA Regional title. She also carded a hole in one at the Milton Best Ball. She was selected first team all conference in the very competitive Badger South. Ashton s first round of 68 at the State Tournament set a new 18 hole state scoring record. She followed up that round with an even par 72 to set a new Division 1 36-hole scoring record of (-4) 140 and to win the WIAA Division I Individual Title by 3 strokes.
