Commentary recaps the Authority announcing Brock Lesnar as Seth Rollins' opponent at Battleground. HHH : Last week, the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Seth Rollins, did what was best for business when he humbled himself and apologized for his behavior towards the Director of Operations, Kane, as well as J&J Security. As a result, a United Authority stood toe to toe with the Beast Incarnate and left him lying in the center of this very ring to end RAW last week. (Triple H pauses for the obvious boos from the crowd) HHH : Seth Rollins and the Authority did what many people here and watching at home thought to be impossible: They brought the Beast down and rendered him helpless. Albeit without serious damage because one half of J&J Security, Jamie Noble, suffered three broken ribs at the hands of Brock Lesnar and is at home recovering right now. Stephanie McMahon : We in the Authority feel for Jamie and certainly hope for his speedy recovery. But a few broken ribs is a small price to pay in the grand scheme of things. Jamie's injury is for the greater good.

3 HHH : That greater good being the ascension of Seth Rollins as one of the greatest WWE World Heavyweight Champions in the history of this business. Stephanie and I chose Seth as the future of the WWE for a reason. Last week, he proved that he could handle the pressure that it takes to be sculpted into the Diamond of the WWE. Stephanie McMahon : That's right because at WWE Battleground, the WWE Championship will be on the line in a no disqualification match, a stipulation requested by the Champion himself. HHH : At Battleground, Seth Rollins will prove to me, to Stephanie, to the WWE Universe, and to himself that he is the undisputed, undeniable, unquestionable future of the WWE. Seth Rollins Music Rollins comes out, accompanied by the remaining J and Kane. He wears a big, stupid grin on his face as he comes down to the ring joins his pseudo parents, HHH and Stephanie. Rollins : Let me begin by publicly thanking the Authority, Triple H and Stephanie, for giving me this tremendous opportunity at Battleground. Last week, I proved why I was the Architect of the Shield and why I am the current WWE World Heavyweight Champion when I left the Beast lying in the middle of the ring. I asked for our match at Battleground to be no disqualification for one reason: So I can prove without a shadow of a doubt who the better man is. There won't be any excuses for all you idiots when I put the Beast out of his misery and you will have no choice but to recognize me as the greatest WWE World Heavyweight Champion of all time! Paul Heyman walks out sans music. Heyman : Ladies and gentlemen...my name is Paul Heyman and I am the advocate for the former and future, reigning, defending, WWE Heavyweight Champion of the World, Brock Lesnar. On behalf of my client, I am here tonight to publicly thank the Authority, and especially the current WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Seth Rollins. After WrestleMania 31, my client had all the motivation in the world to leave you in a pool of

4 your own blood and vomit, Seth Rollins, as he reclaimed what is rightfully his what you stole from him the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Triple H and Stephanie, make no mistake. Last week was Brock playing the game, which is completely out of his nature. There are very few times I can get Brock to "play nice". But that's just how badly my client wanted to get his hands on Seth Rollins. After that cowardly attack on my Beast though, Mr. Rollins, you have done the unthinkable. You have given Brock Lesnar even more of a reason to wreak holy Hell on everyone and everything in his path to reclaim the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Last week, you got my Beast at his most tame. Brock Lesnar "playing nice" scared the ever loving crap out of your announce team. Brock Lesnar playing nice had your WWE World Heavyweight Champion sucking up to cruiserweights and a middle manager because he knows he can't face my Beast on his own Rollins : Hey, those "cruiserweights and that middle manager" left your Beast laying in the middle of the ring with the WWE World Heavyweight Champion standing over him last week and that's exactly what's going to happen again at Battleground! Heyman : What's going to happen at Battleground is that my Beast will have you and the rest of your goons lying in hospital beds next to Jamie Noble. You have absolutely no clue what Triple H and Stephanie have done to you, kid. I suggest you take as many selfies as you can between now and Battleground so you can remember what your face looked like before Brock Lesnar made you take your meals through a straw. The Beast is coming for you and the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, Seth. And please remember that this ass kicking will be brought to you courtesy of your very own supporters in the Authority, Triple H and Stephanie. What will they do with you once you are of no more use to them, Seth? What will you do after you fail against my Beast? Brock Lesnar as WWE World Heavyweight Champion is not only best for business, it's the inevitable, inexorable future. Rollins : No, I'm the future. I am the greatest WWE World Heavyweight Champion of all time. Brock Lesnar is a myth. I exposed him last week and I will put the final nail in the coffin and walk out as WWE World Heavyweight Champion. I am what's best for this company. That is what's best for business, and I will prove it at Battleground!

5 HHH : Well, Seth, since you re already out here, why don t we give you a chance to show Paul exactly what you plan to do to Brock Lesnar at Battleground with a match. Segment 2 Mark Henry s music hits, and the WSM lumbers out. The Authority exits the ring. leaving Rollins alone to face him. Standard match, with Henry getting in some early offense, Rollins coming back but not being able to put him away or get him in the Pedigree, then when Seth gets in trouble Joey and Kane run interference for him. Kick to the gut, Pedigree, clean win for Rollins, who poses with the belt. Segment 3 PAIGE is being interviewed by RENEE YOUNG. RENEE YOUNG : Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest at this time, PAIGE. PAIGE moves into shot. RENEE YOUNG : Paige, you re one of the judges on the new season of Tough Enough. How has the competition been going so far? PAIGE : It s been great, Renee. What s really impressed me so far in the heart that all the competitors have been demonstrating. I wish the other divas had half as much heart as them. Plus, being down at the Performance Centre has given me a chance to catch up with PAIGE stops and looks off camera. Camera pans to find NIKKI BELLA (holding the Diva s title), BRIE BELLA and ALICIA FOX standing in the interview area. NIKKI BELLA : It s funny to hear you talking about heart, PAIGE, considering how heartbroken you must be that you have no friends left in the locker room. BRIE BELLA makes a broken heart hand sign and mock frowns at PAIGE. ALICIA FOX just giggles. PAIGE seems oddly chipper at the interruption. PAIGE : Well, if it isn t Gutless... oh, sorry sweetie, I mean Fearless Nikki. You talk awfully tough when you have your posse with you. Why don t we just take this to the ring? NIKKI BELLA : Please. I ve beaten you like eight thousand times already. Why should I bother doing it again?

6 PAIGE, (nodding and smiling): That s a fair point. How about this: we have a non title match tonight. If I win, I get another match for the Diva s championship at Battleground. NIKKI BELLA (sneering): And *when* I win? PAIGE: Then I never again get another title match against you for as long as you re champion. I m out of the picture. NIKKI BELLA : You know what, Paige? That s actually a really good idea, which is surprising coming from you. We ll see you in the ring, loser. The BELLAS turn to leave. PAIGE : Oh, that s fine, Nikki. Bring whoever you want with you for moral support. I want as big an audience as possible to see you get pinned one, two, three. NIKKI BELLA (snorts): Whatever. BRIE BELLA : As if. The BELLAS leave. RENEE YOUNG : Paige, are you sure this is a good idea? You ll be outnumbered three to one out there, and we ve seen what the Bellas are willing to do when they have the advantage. PAIGE (still smiling): Will I? Have a little faith, Renee. Segment 4 Lu cha! Lu cha! The LUCHA DRAGONS get a full entrance, followed by the NEW DAY, with BIG E and KOFI winning the ones and twos to determine who s in the ring. A fast paced match gets thrown off kilter quickly when BO DALLAS comes out from the back, applauding a big power move from BIG E. He and XAVIER WOODS try to get involved in the match, only for the PRIME TIME PLAYERS to come running out to even the odds. They take out WOODS and DALLAS on the outside, and KALISTO uses the distraction to nail BIG E with a Salida del Sol to pick up the win. A brawl ensues after the bell, with the good guys standing tall afterwards. XAVIER WOODS seems really upset by it all. Segment 5 LANA and DOLPH ZIGGLER are walking in a backstage hallway, Dolph is in his ring gear.

7 LANA : It s just not fair to you. The Miz is competing for the Intercontinental championship, Kevin Owens appears and immediately gets to fight for John Cena s US title. Where is your title match, Dolph? DOLPH : Hey, I ll get my chance, don t you worry about it. LANA (play pouting): But it s my job to worry about such things. It s what I do. Let me handle getting you matches from now on, please? I will make sure you face worthy competition. DOLPH (shadow boxing, not really playing attention): Sure, babe, whatever. She continues talking, sound off, as MICHAEL COLE throws to commercial in voiceover. Segment 6 VIKTOR and KONNOR are already in the ring. No full entrance for jobbers, sorry. Commentary explains that this is a one on one match between ZIGGLER and VIKTOR. ZIGGLER gets his full entrance, 360 camera swoop, butt wiggle and all, with LANA looking on and smiling before giving him a good luck kiss. As they walk down the ramp though, instead of trailing far behind him she s right at his elbow, apparently trying to convince him of something. He doesn t seem to be paying much attention though, instead working the crowd. KONNOR leaves the ring, the match starts and ZIGGLER takes it to VIKTOR. VIKTOR bails to hang with his tag partner, and ZIGGLER lounges in the corner by LANA. She scolds him to press his advantage and take the match more seriously. VIKTOR gets back in and manages to produce some offense, but ZIGGLER quickly takes control again only to get distracted by KONNOR on the outside, and ZIGGLER eats a dropkick from VIKTOR. Now VIKTOR has his attention. ZIGGLER heats up, and a Stinger Splash into a Fameasser gets two. More ZIGGLER offense, and he hits a Zig Zag. As he goes for the pin, KONNOR jumps on the apron to interfere. ZIGGLER pops up and superkicks him back down to the floor, leaning over the ropes and yelling at KONNOR to stay there. Behind him, VIKTOR woozily gets back to his feet. LANA : ZIGGLER! Startled, ZIGGLER turns around and sees VIKTOR standing. LANA: CRUSH!!!!! ZIGGLER glances at her in surprise. VIKTOR charges, ZIGGLER ducks, turns around and grabs VIKTOR in a Dragon Sleeper. VIKTOR flails his arms briefly, then quickly taps out. ZIGGLER dumps him to the mat. LANA gets in the ring, looking very pleased. They celebrate his win in the usual fashion.

8 On a monitor backstage, RUSEV looks at the celebration, looking somewhat crushed himself. SUMMER RAE stands next to him, whispering in his ear, and his expression changes from sorrow to something more sinister Segment 7 HARDCUT BACKSTAGE ROLLINS comes up to the Authority locker room after his match and bumps into SHEAMUS who is coming out of the room at the same time and holding the briefcase. He gives ROLLINS a big, douchey smirk. SHEAMUS : Oh...sorry little fella, I didn t see you there... ROLLINS : Little fella? SHEAMUS : but don t worry, I ll be keeping an eye on you from here on out. SHEAMUS taps his briefcase and smirks again before walking off down the hall. ROLLINS clutches the title close to his chest, pushes his way into the locker room and there s KANE, STEPHANIE, and TRIPLE H smiling and having a conversation amongst themselves that they quickly break up to greet Seth. ROLLINS : What was that all about? STEPHANIE MCMAHON : Nothing...Seth...nothing...just business TRIPLE H : Relax, Seth KANE : Yeah, Seth. It was just business. ROLLINS : YOU and Sheamus Mr. Money in the Bank were discussing business? KANE : Yes Seth. Yes we were. TRIPLE H : Let s drop it. We ve finally got everyone on the same page again and we cannot afford to mess with that right now, there s too much at stake. Now you two need to focus, we ve got another problem to deal with around here later tonight ROLLINS and KANE nod in agreement, but ROLLINS is clearly still paranoid. The sound cuts out as the group discusses something, but ROLLINS takes a long, uncomfortable look back over his shoulder to where SHEAMUS just left.

9 FADE TO COMMERCIAL Segment 8 ROMAN REIGN S music hits, and he descends through the crowd, making his way to the ring. REIGNS grabs a microphone. REIGNS : BRAY WYATT, I m going to give you a chance right now to be something you ve never been a man. You clearly have a problem with me and I m standing right here in the middle of this ring. So why don t you come down here so I can give you the ass whoopin of a lifetime! And you can BELIEVE THAT! REIGNS paces for a few moments before LUKE HARPER S music hits. HARPER makes his way to the ring. Reigns looks pissed that Wyatt didn t answer his challenge. Throughout the match, commentary talks up the Wyatt/Reigns feud. Focus on how creepy and personal Wyatt has been/made this feud. After a big time hoss fight capped by a Spear, Reigns wins clean, his music hits And suddenly REIGNS music morphs into an eerie version of I m a Little Teacup. Commentary goes silent. REIGNS looks around, WYATT S blip thing hits, lights go out. A spotlight hits on the ramp, revealing a little girl who resembles REIGNS daughter. Her hair is draped forward, completely concealing her face. She s wearing ragged clothing similar to the old Wyatt Family and dangling a pink teacup down by her side. Wide eyed, REIGNS attempts to leave the ring and the lights go out again. A spotlight now hits the top of the ramp where WYATT is sitting in a rocking chair atop the stage and the little girl is sitting in his lap. Smoke surrounds them. WYATT balances his lamp on the other side of his lap. WYATT laughs maniacally as REIGNS looks distraught. REIGNS summons the courage to leave the ring and starts to approach WYATT, but the lights go out and they are gone. Segment 9 CURTIS AXEL is already in the ring awaiting his opponent tonight, THE BIG SHOW. Cue Big Show s music. BIG SHOW makes his way down to the ring, looking like he's ready to tear poor AXEL to bits. He enters the ring and they have a brief staredown. The bell rings and AXEL tries to intimidate BIG SHOW with some Hogan esque posing. BIG SHOW watches AXEL go through his routine, completely impassive. AXEL makes a mistake, though, when he turns his back on the giant to play to the crowd. SHOW takes his opportunity and grabs AXEL by the head. He proceeds to

10 batter the Meta Star senseless, using lots of showy power moves and tossing the man around like a rag doll. SHOW has several opportunities to put AXEL away, but seems more focused on the hurt than the kill. After a couple of minutes of toying with his prey, SHOW finally blasts AXEL with a KO Punch for the pinfall. After the bell rings, as AXEL is being helped from the ring, SHOW gets a mic. BIG SHOW : Ryback! Last week, you probably thought you got one over on me. I'll bet you're real proud of yourself. Yeah, you lucked out and got the upper hand, but that was one night, Ryback. One night, one fight. What I did to you on Smackdown? That was just a taste of what s in store for you until that Intercontinental Championship is mine. This thing between us? It's not over until I say it's over, and I'll say it's over when I break you in half...no, when I break you into many, tiny pieces, and take that title away from you. You think you're a big man? You haven't seen big, son. I'm seven feet and 450 pounds of beatdown ready to crack open your thick skull. You might be a big man, but I'm THE big man, the largest athlete in the world and the most fearsome giant in sports entertainment, and believe me, I can put you out of commission anytime I feel like it with one swat of my massive hand. As a matter of fact Cue Ryback s music. The IC Champ emerges and stomps down to the ring, slides in, and gets right in SHOW S face for an intense staredown. RYBACK S eyes are narrowed and his nostrils are flaring, but SHOW doesn't appear concerned. RYBACK rips the mic from SHOW S hand and raises it to his mouth. RYBACK : As a matter of fact, Big Show, why don't you tell the whole truth? Last week, I didn't merely get the upper hand, I took you out and embarrassed you. I laid you out, Show. And that's something you'd better get used to if you want to keep coming at me, because I've made a habit of knocking guys like you down a peg, and that's not a habit I'm looking to break anytime soon. When Ryback is in the ring, men become desperate to escape. When Ryback fights, volcanoes don't dare erupt. I'm going to devour you, Big Show, like a school of piranhas on a wounded bull, and when I've picked the last scrap of flesh off of your tired bones at Battleground, the only thought on my mind will be...feed! ME! MO Cue The Miz s music. MIZ : Cut the music! The music, appropriately, cuts. He slowly makes his way toward the ring as he speaks. MIZ : You guys seem to be forgetting something here, and that's the fact that I, The Miz, will also be at Battleground, thank goodness. Without my involvement, you two would only be good for one thing a bathroom break. You think you can ignore me and I'll just go away, but newsflash! The Miz never goes away! The Miz is always right in the thick of things.

11 MIZ has now reached ringside. RYBACK and SHOW look on, bemused. MIZ : I can beat either of you any night. I think that's obvious. He ascends the steps and enters the ring. MIZ : And furthermore, let me tell you Before he can continue, RYBACK and SHOW glance at each other, shrug, and land simultaneous punches on him, knocking MIZ under the ropes and right back out of the ring before turning on each other. It's a good old fashioned brawl now, as the two big guys go at it in the center of the ring. A horde of officials and security guards rushes out to try to break it up. Their efforts are seemingly for naught, though, as they mostly end up getting tossed out of the way for their troubles. Finally they manage to get the two separated, but then MIZ re renters, chair in hand. He smacks SHOW across the back with it, but that just angers the giant, who turns on MIZ and grabs him by the throat. MIZ flails for his life, but cannot break the grip until RYBACK surges through the men holding him back and smashes SHOW with a series of forearms to the back of the head. MIZ, wisely, rolls out of the ring and hightails it to the back. The officials finally manage to separate the big men again and SHOW exits the ring, jawing at RYBACK the whole time. RYBACk hoists the title over his head with one hand while pointing at SHOW with the other, talking trash as we break for commercial. Segment 10 BACKSTAGE REIGNS sitting down, head in hands. DEAN AMBROSE is sitting next to him, doing his best to console REIGNS. AMBROSE : Hey, uh...roman. Look, I know now s not a good time, but I ve dealt with Wyatt, okay? You know Wyatt s type dirty and slimy and just digging away, trying to get under your skin; don t let him get to you. REIGNS looks up, angry: He s gonna pay for this. If it was just about me, fine. He doesn t like me neither do half the people around here. It s fine. But going after Jo Jo? Going after my daughter? Dean...I m gonna hurt him. And I m going to enjoy every single minute of it. Segment PAIGE S music hits and she makes her usual entrance. When she gets to the ring, however, rather than doing her usual pose and scream on the ropes, she heads over to the opposite side and greets two people sitting in the front row: CHARLOTTE and SASHA BANKS. The two NXT

12 women give PAIGE big hugs, and she gets into the ring. MICHAEL COLE, on commentary, puts over the two women huge, highlighting their rivalry and epic matches for the NXT Women s Championship, as well as Charlotte s lineage and Sasha s current title run. The Bellas music hits, and NIKKI and ALICIA emerge from gorilla. Brie is not with them however, and COLE says that BRIE is probably under the ring, and talks about how NIKKI is so confident now that she can telegraph the fact that she plans on using Twin Magic, and still get away with it. ( JBL : That s ridiculous. You don t know where Brie is. Maybe she has a pressing engagement. Byron: She can t be getting engaged, she s already married to Daniel Bryan. ) Match starts, and is a barn burner. Both Nikki and Paige are bringing their A games, and Paige escapes an early Rack Attack attempt, while Nikki almost gets caught in a PTO but manages to get to the ropes. Nikki gains the advantage off a distraction by Alicia, but Paige rallies and after a headbutt spot, Nikki spills out of the ring. Paige seems a bit woozy herself. Alicia jumps up on the apron, and Paige goes after her, only to be cut off by the ref who gets stuck between them, arguing with Alicia to get down. While the ref is distracted, Brie pops out from under the ring over by Nikki. As soon as she appears though, the NXT duo hop the barricade, grab Brie and start wailing on her. Brie eventually takes a Natural Selection on the floor while Sasha trash talks her. Paige sees what s happening and moves away from Alicia. Alicia jumps down. Nikki, shocked, gets up and starts yelling at Charlotte and Sasha ( NIKKI : Who do you think you are? You can t do this! ) Paige jumps down and lays her out with a yakuza kick. She grabs Nikki, throws her back into the ring, picks her up and hits her with a Rampaige. One, two, three, Paige gets the win. CHARLOTTE and SASHA BANKS get into the ring to celebrate with PAIGE, while the Bellas and Alicia regroup on the ramp. SASHA BANKS then grabs a microphone. SASHA BANKS : Who do I think I am, Nikki? I ll tell you who I am. I m the BOSS. I m Sasha Banks, NXT Women s Champion, and I m a better champion than you ll ever be. Twin Magic? What a joke. Back in NXT, we don t need cheap tricks to keep our titles. Whether it s me, or Paige, or Charlotte, we earned our titles by fighting for them, and fighting to keep them, and every time we defend that title we tear the house down. You think you re special? You think you re a true champion? You re nothing. You re a high school mean girl who thinks that because she rules the cafeteria, she rules the world. Well, guess what, Nikki? School is out. And here in the real world, respect has to be earned, not just handed to you. Charlotte... Paige... I may not always get along with them, but they are fierce, they are warriors, and they ve earned my

13 respect in this ring, so I am honored to stand here with them and have their backs. All you ve earned is the honor of having one of us rip that title from your ratchet hands. Bank on it! The Bellas scuttle back up the ramp, NIKKI holding her head and clutching her title, looking very unhappy at this latest development. Segment 13 Video package highlighting the July 4 Tokyo show on the WWE Network, emphasizing Brock Lesnar and the NXT Title match between Kevin Owens and Finn Balor. Segment 14 MICHAEL COLE : Wow, that should be a tremendous show this weekend, but right now we've got all American, Jack Swagger in the ring ready for a matchup with King Barrett! Queue King Barrett s music. MICHAEL COLE : Barrett got a big win over Zack Ryder last week. You've got to think that was a message to R Truth who has been vying for his crown of late. JBL : The only thing R Truth is...is CRAZY, Maggle! MICHAEL COLE : Crazy or not, he's been a thorn in Barrett's side ever since he won King of the Ring. BELL RINGS JACK SWAGGER leads a WE THE PEOPLE chant before urging the crowd to chant USA. Meanwhile, while Barrett looks on derisively. MICHAEL COLE : Swagger, a real All American getting the crowd behind him here in our nation's capital. Barrett snuffs out the USA chant when he lays into Swagger with a seriousness and aggression that fans haven t seen from the Brit in quite some time. He gets Swagger into the corner and lays into him with rights and lefts and a kick to the gut. He whips Swagger into the corner and comes in for a hard charging avalanche. JBL : Barrett looks like a man possessed tonight, Maggle. MICHAEL COLE : He really does. You've got to think his issues with R Truth are really lighting a fire under him.

14 BYRON SAXTON :...or getting into his head? JBL : Wade Barrett is a multiple time Intercontinental Champion, he won the inaugural season of NXT, and he is the reigning King of the Ring. A lunatic like R Truth isn't going to get in his head. In the ring, Barrett sends Swagger to the ropes and hits the Winds of Change. 1 2 KICKOUT. Barrett is upset and goes to pick Swagger up by the hair, but Swagger sweeps the leg and locks in the Patriot Lock!! :: MICHAEL COLE : Is King Barrett going to tap here? Barrett rolls through and sends Swagger into the turnbuckle. Barrett charges for another avalanche, but Swagger gets a foot up. Barrett is down and Swagger runs across the ring to the other turnbuckle and charges in to hit a Swagger Bomb on Barrett, but Barrett gets the knees up. JBL : Great counter by the King! Long live the King!! Barrett gets to his feet in the corner and adjusts his elbow pad. Swagger slowly gets to his feet and turns into the BULLHAMMER. MICHAEL COLE : BULLHAMMER! BULLHAMMER! BULLHAMMER!! JBL : It's over Maggle!! Barrett covers for the win. BYRON SAXTON : Big win for Barrett. You've got to think that was a message for R Truth. MICHAEL COLE : I think you might be right, Byron, he looked very aggressive and wait...what's he doing? Barrett pushes ref away and hits a second Bullhammer after the bell. MICHAEL COLE : That was uncalled for! He already won the match. JBL : I think Barrett is through playing around, Maggle. JBL : After the butt whooping he took last week, maybe he should have stayed home. BYRON SAXTON : Well, for all intents and purposes Kane did need help to beat him. ROLL REPLAY OF KANE DEFEATING AMBROSE ON RAW LAST WEEK DEAN AMBROSE : I m not going to waste time. I came out here tonight for a fight. Pauses for crowd response. DEAN AMBROSE : For weeks and weeks and week now, I ve been scratching and clawing and trying to climb my way to the top. I should have been the WWE Champion. I should have beaten Seth Rollins time and time again, but the Authoooorrrriiitttyyy is always there to stick their noses in my business. Whether it was the rejects from the cruiserweight division, the Big Red Corporate Lackey, or Seth Rollin s Mommy and Daddy themselves someone was always there to push me back down and I m sick and tired of it. AMBROSE MEANDERS AROUND THE RING LOOKING UNHINGED DEAN AMBROSE : Last week last week was the final straw. I lost to Kane now don t get me wrong, I ve been knocked down and beat up before. I ve lost plenty of matches. I don t get bent out of shape over wins and losses, but I lose to Kane. I lost to suit wearing, match making, Korporate Lackey Kane. JBL : He better watch what he s saying out here. MICHAEL COLE : That s right JBL Dean Ambrose is playing with fire! JBL : LITERALLY, MAGGLE!! DEAN AMBROSE : We re not talking about the Demon who burned his family alive, or the BIG RED MONSTER that went to war with the Undertaker, we re not talking about the seven foot monster that s dominated the business for nearly two decades no, we re talking about some chump in a suit who takes orders from that sniveling, whiny, conniving, snake in the grass SEETTTHHH ROLLLLINNNSS!

16 Pauses again for crowd response. DEAN AMBROSE : So Kane KORPORATE KANE get your butt out here, because I m here to fight!! Queue Kane s music. KANE : Dean Dean Dean I see you re out here, running your mouth and making excuses again. That seems to be all you do anymore, Dean. You lost your title match to Seth Rollins, you made excuses and ran off with a championship you didn t earn. You lost the rematch at Money in the Bank and you came out and complained that you should get another shot and you wanted to take Sheamus HARD EARNED MITB Contract!! And now now...you lose a match FAIR AND SQUARE to me right there in the middle of that ring last week and you want to come out here and make excuses and try to take potshots at me. Well Dean, it s not going to work. You lost. AGAIN. You go to the back of the line. The Authority is done wasting its time on you, bye bye. KANE turns to leave. DEAN AMBROSE : Oooohhhh okay I see what s going on here. Seth Rollins Mommy and Daddy sent you out here to make the big, bad bully go away huh? I hurt your widdle feelings and now you want to tuck tail and run. Well, that s your call, man. You can be the Devil s Favorite Stooge if you want but the Authority ain t getting rid of me that easily. Oh no, no, no, no, no, no, no you see Kane KORPORATE KANE STOOGE KANE ERRAND BOY KANE I ain t going nowhere. KANE : Okay then okay you want to be a tough guy. You want to play hardball, well fine. We ll play some hardball. You want to get beat FAIR AND SQUARE by me again. You ve got it. At Battleground, you and I are going one on one but you know what, that s not enough. You want to come out here and call me names. You re going to pay for that and you re going to learn a little respect. Tonight, you re in a tag match: You and Randy Orton against Me and Sheamus. The team that wins can pick stipulations for one on one matches at Battleground. How does that sound, Dean? DEAN AMBROSE : That sounds mighty fine, Stooge. 17 KANE : The match it starts right now. SHEAMUS SLIDES INTO THE RING OUT OF NOWHERE AND BLINDSIDES AMBROSE WITH A BROGUE KICK MICHAEL COLE : Oh come on now. That was a blatant cheap shot! JBL : Ambrose came out here for a fight, Maggle and he s getting it he asked for this. BYRON SAXTON : I don t think he asked to be blindsided. JBL : He provoked the Demon. This is what you get, Byron. MICHAEL COLE : This must have been what Sheamus was talking about with The Authority earlier tonight. It was a setup, JBL. JBL : Ambrose came out here running his mouth and begging for a fight. He s getting exactly what he deserved. MICHAEL COLE :We re going to head to commercial while the ref checks on Dean Ambrose. Assuming he s able to go, we ll have this tag team match up after the break. CUT TO COMMERCIAL AS KANE WALTZES DOWN TO THE RING AND THE REF CHECKS ON AMBROSE HARDCUT IN FROM THE COMMERCIAL THE REFEREE IS HELPING STAND AMBROSE UP IN THE CORNER AS KANE STANDS ON THE APRON AND SHEAMUS IS IN THE RING WAITING FOR THE BELL TO PICK AMBROSE APART MC : We re about to start here as the referee ensured Ambrose is fit to compete. JBL : Where s Randy Orton, Maggle? MC : I m sure he ll be out here momentarily. I know there s no love lost between he and Ambrose, but he ll want this win just as badly as Ambrose to get his hands on Sheamus at Battleground. RANDY ORTON S MUSIC HITS HUGE CROWD POP EVERYONE STARES AT THE RAMP, BUT NO ONE COMES OUT MC: Where s Randy Orton? Where s the Viper?

18 HIS MUSIC STOPS AND STARTS AGAIN STILL NO ONE KANE AND SHEAMUS START LAUGHING AS KANE GRABS THE MICROPHONE KANE : Oh you know something, Dean. This is embarrassing. I forget to tell you, Randy Orton isn t here tonight. Gosh. I totally forgot that! CROWD BOOS AMBROSE LOOKS FURIOUS KANE : I guess you re right, Dean. I m just a silly corporate stooge who doesn t know what he s doing, huh? HAHAHAHAHA!!! RING THE BELL. REFEREE SIGNALS FOR THE BELL Sheamus charges at Ambrose, but Ambrose ducks under another attempted Brogue Kick as Sheamus gets his leg caught over the rope. Ambrose lays into him with rights and lefts. Sheamus attempts to get himself out of the ropes, but Dean s flurry of punches won t allow him to do so. JBL : This isn t fair, Maggle. Sheamus can t fight back. MC : but Sheamus blindsiding Ambrose earlier was fair? JBL : Shut up, Maggle! Ambrose hits a clothesline that finally frees Sheamus and sends him rolling to the outside. Ambrose turns and attacks Kane knocking him from the apron. Ambrose goes back and forth knocking Sheamus and Kane off the apron as they both attempt to get into the ring. BS : It looks like Dean is countering the numbers game! JBL : Shut up, Byron. It looks like Dean is a coward who is too scared to let Sheamus or Kane back in the ring. MC : It seems like a great game plan to me. They can t beat him if they can t get in the ring. AMBROSE hits a suicide dive on KANE, then runs back into the ring to hit one on SHEAMUS, but SHEAMUS moves aside and Dean crashes into the announce table. BS : That really turned the tide in the wrong direction for Ambrose. JBL : It s because he s a lunatic. Who throws themselves around like a lawn dart? That s not offense, that s crazy. MC : Crazy or otherwise, he s in a world of hurt with Sheamus and Kane clearly holding the upper hand here.

19 Sheamus tags in Kane who lays into Ambrose with a few choice right hands as Sheamus holds his arms. Kane is toying with Ambrose. Slapping him around and teasing the finish. MC : This is just despicable. They re dissecting Ambrose in there. Just finish it, Kane. JBL : No, Maggle. Ambrose wanted a fight and he s getting it. Maybe he ll think twice before spouting off to Kane and the Authority. Kane is laughing as he picks Ambrose up, seemingly readying for the chokeslam, but Ambrose fights back with a flurry of punches and kicks. BS : He s mounting a comeback here, guys! He just might do it!! Ambrose lays into Kane some more before Kane tosses him away into the ropes. Ambrose goes for the rebound clothesline, but eats a big boot to the face. JBL : HAHAHAHA!! Kane snuffs out that comeback, Maggle. MC : I thought Ambrose was going to pull it out there for a second. I really did. An annoyed Kane signals for the chokeslam. MC : It looks like he s done playing around. BS : Valiant effort by Ambrose. JBL : The lunatic never stood a chance. RANDY ORTON S MUSIC HITS AGAIN AND THE CROWD GOES WILD MC : WHOA WHOA WHOA WHOA!! RANDY ORTON! RANDY ORTON! RANDY ORTON!!! THE VIPER IS HERE!!! SHEAMUS JUMPS OFF THE APRON AND WAITS ON THE RAMP FOR ORTON KANE LOOKS ON CONFUSED Ambrose sneaks up behind Kane and rolls him while he s staring off at the ramp. THE REF COUNTS THE Ambrose rolls quickly out of the ring as Sheamus runs back in, but is too late to make the save. Ambrose disappears into the crowd holding his head and laughing at Kane and Sheamus who are in the ring and fuming. MC : I don t know how he did it, but Ambrose pulled a fast one on Kane and Sheamus and got the victory.

20 BS : They were plotting against Ambrose all night long and he still got the win!! JBL : That wasn t fair, Sheamus and Kane were distracted. They should restart this match and you know it, Maggle. MC : Distracted or not, it s over and Ambrose and Orton now have all the power to pick the stipulations for their one on one matches at Battleground. Segment 17 Heath Slater gets an entrance even, followed by the New Sensation, Neville! Slater gets a bit of offense, but for the most part Neville carries this match straight through to the inevitable Red Arrow finish. Segment 18 JOHN CENA makes his way to the ring and grabs a microphone. CENA talks up the events of the week usual Cena drivel. He says things are changing but one thing stays the same: it doesn t matter if CENA faces OWENS in a few weeks at BATTLEGROUND or not, the US Open Challenge is still going strong. IF YOU WANT SOME...COME GET SOME! KEVIN OWENS music hits. The NXT Champion makes his way to the ring, looking as if he wants to fight...until he walks over to the commentary table. MICHAEL COLE : KEVIN OWENS? What are you doing here? Are you going to take the US Open Challenge? OWENS : Why would I? I ve already picked my date. I m going to take the United States Championship from JOHN CENA in three weeks at WWE Battleground. Now, if CENA is dead set on having his little US Open Challenge, well...i d like to see this one for myself. Who knows? With the beatings I ve given Cena lately, there s no guarantee he walks out of here as champion tonight. Finally CESARO comes to take the US Open Challenge. On commentary COLE, JBL, and SAXTON discuss OWENS upcoming NXT Championship match against FINN BALOR. COLE : KEVIN, this Saturday you defend your NXT Championship against #1 Contender FINN BALOR. Do you have any thoughts on BALOR that you d like to share with our audience who may not have seen him fight? OWENS : Aren t you the play by play commentator, COLE? Why don t you call the match instead of asking me stupid questions about a minor league wrestler, okay? See? Look at that move by Cesaro, there! That s called a Tiger Bomb, COLE. I can do your job better than you, to the surprise of literally no one.

21 JBL : I ve heard BALOR s bringing the DEMON to Japan with him! OWENS : So what if he is? You guys know it s just body paint, right? He s basically a clown. I ve beaten wrestlers before, I ve beaten whatever CENA is, and I can beat clowns, too. CESARO begins to gain the upper hand on CENA. CESARO sets up for the Neutralizer when OWENS interferes, causing a DQ. OWENS hits CENA with a Pop up Powerbomb before throwing CESARO to the outside. OWENS turns back to CENA and yells, I m the one who s going to take your title, JOHN! Not him! OWENS leaves the ring, sets up CESARO for the Apron Powerbomb FINN BALOR s music hits and the lights go out. Red lighting pulses with the heartbeat of FINN s music and smoke fills the stage. OWENS drops CESARO and looks to the ramp. BALOR appears as his music hits in earnest, dressed in a suit. BALOR walks casually through the smoke, staring down OWENS. OWENS runs to collect his NXT Championship before rolling into the ring, clutching it like a weapon. BALOR steps up onto the apron, unfazed by OWENS. As BALOR steps into the ring, OWENS quickly ducks out of the ring and walks backwards up the ramp. BALOR watches for a moment before helping CENA to his feet. CENA stands, clutching the back of his neck with one hand before holding his hand out to BALOR. BALOR shakes CENA S hand, doing what OWENS refused to do a few weeks ago. A cameraman is close enough to catch CENA and BALOR talking. CENA : Save me a piece of OWENS, alright? BALOR : I can t make that promise. BALOR ascends the turnbuckle, Too Sweeting the crowd as CENA and OWENS watch from the ring and stage respectively.
