6 Admissions - BA (HONS) Dance - Top Up Applicants for the BA (HONS) Dance (Year 3) must have achieved 240 University Credits (FdA/HND/Level 5) in a dance programme. All candidates must have previously received a prior higher level formal dance training and must be successful in the Creative Academy audition which assesses the potential skills of the applicant in a variety of dance competency areas: * Ballet Class * Contemporary Class * Jazz or Commercial Class * Solo choreographical task * Fitness test * Timed essay * Interview Audition Fee and Course Fee (see website) To be considered for the performance modules the applicant must hold a minimum of Grade 6/Intermediate Foundation Ballet and Intermediate Modern Theatre (CV28).

8 Accommodation The Creative Academy students have several options for accommodation. In Slough (and surrounding areas - Burnham, Dorney, Eton, Maidenhead, Iver, Taplow, Uxbridge, Hayes, High Wycombe, West Drayton and Windsor) students can rent a room in a house/flat with other students. The Creative Academy manages a Facebook group which allows students to meet virtually and decide who to live with. This can be achieved through reputable websites and local estate agents. Alternatively, students can rent a spare room in shared houses or family homes. In Reading - Unite student accommodation and Fawley Bridge student accommodation (privately owned student halls of residency), students must also factor in travel from Reading to Slough, which is approximatley 18 miles. Travel options include trains managed by First Great Western - six stops, from 2018 the Elizabeth Line (Cross Rail) opens (managed by Transport for London, TfL) or driving. Travel Slough is the first borough outside of London to the Slough is the first borough outside of London to the West, and it is situated on the M4 (Junc 5,6 & 7) and is Junction 4b/15 on the M25.
