12 Scholastic Bowl Results: At Barrington, FMS Team A finished tied for 3rd place out of 9 teams in the UBER competitive division (all top SB schools in the state). Team B finished 2nd out of 32 teams in the standard division. After a tough 1-3 start, Team C finished the day winning their last 4 games. MVPs were: Jack (Team A), Siddu (Team B), & Srihari (Team C) Go Falcons!

Bus leaves at 3:00: Teams A and D Wednesday: No practice Thursday: SB Bloomington vs Bloomington Match starts at 4:15. Bus leaves at 2:45: Teams A and B Friday: Practice from 2:30 to 4:00

16 SSHS Cheerleading Tryout Info: Reminder: Southeast Cheerleading Tryouts are next week! Workshops are March from 5-8p.m., with the exception of the first day which is 5-9p.m. Tryouts are on March 24th at 8:00am. If you make either squad, a payment will be due that day! 17 SHS Cheerleading Tryout Info: Springfield Cheerleading Tryouts are coming up! Tryout meeting: Wednesday, March 28th from 5:30-6:30pm in the SHS commons. This informational meeting should be attended by both a parent/guardian and the tryout candidate. Details of the cheer season will be provided. Tryout Clinics: Tuesday, April 10th - Thursday, April 12th from 5-7:30pm in the SHS gym. Tryouts: Saturday, April 14th beginning at noon in the SHS gym. Tryout packets will be available in middle school offices, the SHS main office, and on the SHS cheer district 186 webpage on 3/ SHS Cheerleading Tryout Packet, in order to be eligible to try out: - Cheerleading Application - Tryout Permission Slip - 5 Completed Teacher Evaluations (should only be returned from the teacher to the candidate if it is in a sealed envelope. Otherwise, evaluations should be mailed directly from the teacher to Coach Bryant). - Signed SHS Cheerleading Contract Feel free to bring any completed forms to the tryout meeting on Wednesday, March 28th. All forms must be on file by Thursday, April 12th.

20 Garden Club News The garden club will meet on Wednesdays for the remainder of the year (because of track practices). The dates are March 21st, April 18th and May 16th.
