1 USASF VOTING SLATE REMINDER: THIS VOTING SLATE IS IN REGARDS TO THE SEASONS AND NOT THE UPCOMING SEASON. PLEASE CONSIDER THESE S FROM AN INDUSTRY WIDE PERSPECTIVE. EACH VOTING HAS AN ABSTAIN OPTION. THIS OPTION IS TO BE USED IF YOU FEEL YOU DON T HAVE ENOUGH EXPERIENCE OR KNOWLEDGE IN REGARDS TO THE SPECIFIC PRESENTED. AGE GRID S 1. Adjust the current bottom age from 12 to 13 for Level 5 Senior divisions (excluding Level 5restricted). New Sr L5 Coed Division Part 2 IF the new Sr L5 Coed proposal in #11 passes, should the maximum number of athletes on a Medium Coed team be raised from 30 to 36? a) Maximum number of total athletes should stay at 30 (leave as is) b) Maximum number of total athletes should be raised to 36.

3 RULES S 13. Disallow extended single base building skills (assisted or unassisted, in stunts and/or pyramids) for Youth divisions and below. All extended skills would require at least two bases and a spotter. a) Allow single base stunts for these divisions (leave as is) b) Disallow extended single base stunts for Youth divisions and below. 14. CURRENT RULE F. L3 Pyramids Release Moves 1. During a pyramid transition, a top person may pass above 2 persons high while in direct physical contact with at least two persons at prep level or below L3 Pyramid Release Moves Top person must remain in direct arm to arm contact with at least ONE top person at prep level or below. 15. CURRENT RULE F. L3 Pyramids Twisting mounts and transitions to an extended position are allowed up to 1 twist if connected to two bracers at prep level or below. The connection must be made prior to the initiation of the skill and must remain in contact throughout the skill. L3 Twisting mounts and transitions to an extended position are allowed up to 1 twist, if connected to one bracer at prep level or below. 4 16. CURRENT RULE L4 Stunts C. Twisting mounts and transitions: Twisting to extended skills exceeding ½ and up to 1 twist must land in a two leg stunt. Level 4: Adjust twisting in L4 to allow full up to EXTENDED position to one leg (immediate body position). 17. L4 Stunt Release Moves Part 1 CURRENT RULE I. L4 Stunts Release Moves 4. Release moves that land in extended position must originate from ground level and may not involve twisting or flipping. L4 Stunts Release Moves Allow Stunts Release moves that land in extended position to originate from waist or prep level. a) No (leave as is). b) Yes 18. L4 Stunt Release Moves Part 2 If #17 passes, should L4 Stunt Release Moves that land in extended position originate from: a) waist level or below. (i.e. sponge toss to extended position) b) prep level or below. (i.e. low to high tic toc) 19. CURRENT RULE L5restricted Stunts C. Twisting mounts and transitions are allowed up to 2 ¼ twisting rotations by the top person in relation to the performing surface. L5restricted stunts Restrict twisting rotations to a maximum of 1 ½ twists when landing in an EXTENDED 2 leg position and full up to an EXTENDED 1 leg position.

5 20. CURRENT RULE L5restricted Standing/Running Tumbling A. Tumbling skills are allowed up to 1 flipping and 1 twisting rotation. 1. In tumbling, twisting skills may ONLY be performed if immediately preceded by a back handspring(s) or round off. L5restricted: STANDING TUMBLING Restrict Standing Tumbling so that twisting skills may only be performed if immediately preceded by two back hand springs. 21. CURRENT RULE L5 Tosses There is no limit on the number of skills currently allowed in L5 tosses. The only limitations are no flipping and up to 2 ½ twisting rotations. Limit number of toss skills in L5 to four skills a) Disagree (leave as is unlimited skills) (limit total number of skills to four) The following questions are to gauge OPINIONS ONLY. The results of the below opinion poll, along with data collected from the USASF membership database, will be reviewed by a joint committee of NACCC and event producers and the USASF Board of Directors to determine next steps. DIVISION II ISSUES 22. Should we adjust the focus of the industry names to Division I and Division II rather than Small Gym and no current name for gyms not in the Small Gym numbers range? This proposal is related strictly to the name change and in no way affects the other issues within the Division II conversation.
