2 WebRail Heavy Vehicle Fall Protection System Web Rail by SpanSet is an effective solution to fall protection from the back of heavy vehicles. Featuring our patented Tension Force Indicator and Kevlar Core webbing, this simple to use system gives significant improvements to current work practices during the loading and unloading/rigging processes. The Tension Force Indicator gives a known and measurable force on the posts and the Kevlar core inside the webbing minimises stretch and deflection. The whole system can be removed in minutes to facilitate crane and fork access, or can be left in situ if desired. The kit comes with four straps complete with twisted double action safety hooks, and spare parts and replacement straps are readily available. Posts are not included with the kit, however engineering specifications are available by contacting SpanSet. Tension Force Indicator (TFI) The TFI is fitted as standard on this system as added security against unintentional overtensioning, thereby providing optimum tension for effective fall restraint. 3 Intermediate posts: Refer to WebRail data sheet Post can be solid or hollow 4140 and C450L0 only refers to the grade of steel refer to your steel supplier for details Top of posts require to withstand a minimum lateral/sideways force of 50kg Webbing passing points are not mandatory optional, as long as webbing passes on inside of post Secure bottom of post with safety chain Post bottom end to be determined by type of deck pocket. Rear posts: Refer to WebRail data sheet 4140 and C450L0 only refers to the grade of steel refer to your steel supplier for details Posts are free standing and required to withstand a minimum of 250kg of force from the ratchet assembly End post is required to take all force from WebRail ratchet assemblies Note: Access safety chain is for safe access and egress only and shall not take any load from WebRail system Eye bolt/fitting are a fixture of end post and to accommodate WebRail snap hook. The snap hook gate opening is 21mm Secure bottom of post with safety chain Post bottom end to be determined by type of deck pocket.
