4 Form B Part 1 Aim of the event : RDIAS Premier League-2018 aims to connect colleges in Delhi NCR level for sports activities specially Cricket. The main aim is to promote Sports amongst the College Students for their overall development. Part 2 Abstract : RDIAS conducted RDIAS Premier League-2018, a Delhi-NCR level intercollegiate Cricket Tournament from October 09 to October 25, 2018 at Rashtriya Swabhiman Khel Parisar, Pitam Pura, Delhi. Sixteen teams from across the Delhi-NCR participated in the same. Dr. Raman Garg, Director, RDIAS tossed the coin for the opening match that was played between CPJCHS Narela and SGTB Khalsa College, DU. The ceremony was observed by Ms. Namita Garg, Dean Placements, RDIAS, Dr. Imran Khan, Chairperson-Sports Committee, RDIAS, Mr. Gaurav Jindal, Member-Sports Committee, RDIAS, Match Officials, Umpires and Guest Officials from Participating Colleges. Also, there was arrangement of Lunch on all the days for the Match Officials, Umpires, Guest Officials from participating colleges and Cricket Coordinators. A presentation ceremony was held on the final day i.e. October 25, Dr. Raman Garg, Director, RDIAS, Dr. Imran Khan, Chairperson-Sports Committee, RDIAS and Mr. Gaurav Jindal, Member-Sports Committee, RDIAS presented the awards and trophies to the winners. The Best Batsman of the tournament trophy was bagged by Mayank Bansal of SGTB Khalsa College for his 104 Runs. The Best Bowler of the tournament trophy was awarded to Ankit of SGTB Khalsa College for his 08 wickets by conceding only 53 Runs and Player of the Tournament trophy was won by Nitesh Rawat of PGDAV College for his all-round performance of 72 Runs and 12 Wickets while conceding 60 Runs in the Tournament. The Runner-Up team of PGDAV College, DU was awarded with a Trophy, a Runner-Up Certificate and a Cash Prize of Rs And the Winners team of SGTB Khalsa College, DU was awarded with a Trophy, a Winners Certificate Created by : Rdias Admin on 10/30/2018 1:21:42 PM Page 7 of 12

9 Part 3 Conclusion RPL-2018 was a grand event as it was organized for the first time. All the teams participated with great enthusiasm. A good number of teams came forward with their excellent cricketing performances. Overall, it was a treat to watch the live cricket matches.
