1 RULES & POLICIES 3.12 The Superior Judge must sign and verify all completed score sheets before the final results are posted. 4. Competition Cards 4.1 Levels No competition cards are required at this level. 4.2 Level Each pass, with difficulty rating, must be written down on the competition card. Only the preliminary passes for level 10 are handed in. Finalists for level 10 will complete the last two passes on their card prior to the Finals All competition cards must be turned in at the specified time and place, completely filled out with skill identification, skill position and difficulty value in place and added. Otherwise a deduction of 0.2 pts will be taken from the difficulty score for an incomplete competition card. Changes may be made until the start of the round Competition cards must be filled out using official FIG terminology or FIG numerical system Failure to turn in a competition card or an incomplete competition card will result in a deduction of 0.2 pts from the difficulty score of the first completed voluntary pass Changes to the skills and the order in which they are written on the competition card are permitted with no penalty. 5. Dress Code 5.1 The dress code must be followed during all training sessions, warm-up and competition times Male Competitors Leotards without sleeves. T-Shirts are not acceptable Competition style shorts, with no longer than a 3 inseam White trampoline shoes with light colored soles and/or white foot covering of no more than ankle length may be worn Female Competitors Leotards with or without sleeves may be worn White shoes with light colored soles and or white foot covering of no more than ankle length may be worn. 5.2 The wearing of jewelry or watches is not permitted. Earrings must be removed and may not be taped. Rings without gemstones are permitted only if they are taped. 5.3 Only rubber bands, ribbons, flat metal clips or soft hair decorations are allowed. 5.4 Long hair for both male and female competitors must be secured close to the head. It can cause safety problems and interruption of the pass. 5.5 Any violation of Rules may result in disqualification from the round in which the offense occurs. This decision is made by the Superior Judge. 5.6 Coaches and Spotters Proper coaching attire (track suit, team t-shirt or polo shirt, pants or hemmed shorts) is required Gym shoes are required No denim pants/shorts are allowed No caps or hats are allowed Violators may be asked to leave the floor. 6. Flights 6.1 The competitors will be divided into groups of approximately ten athletes per group. 7. Height of Hall 7.1 Levels 8-10 The interior height of the hall in which double mini-trampoline competitions take place must be at least 19.5 feet. 4
2 LEVELS Accepted Skills 3.1 Passes will be interrupted if skills other than those listed in Rule 2 are performed. 4. Start of the Pass 4.1 The starting order for the first pass is decided by a draw. Competitors will remain in the same order for the second pass. 4.2 Each competitor will start upon a signal from the Superior Judge. 4.3 A pass shall be considered started once the competitor touches the double mini-trampoline. 4.4 Second attempts at passes are not allowed If the competitor is obviously disturbed while performing a pass (faulty equipment or external causes), the Superior Judge may allow another attempt. (See Guide to Judging) 5. Interruptions of a Pass 5.1 A pass will be considered interrupted if the competitor: Obviously does not land on and/or take off from the bed with both feet simultaneously Does not use the elasticity of the bed after landing for the immediate continuation of the next skill Is touched by a spotter During the pass, leaves the double mini-trampoline due to insecurity If the competitor lands on any part of the body except the feet on the double mini-trampoline bed Does not perform the compulsory pass as required. The pass is interrupted at the point of change During the pass lands on any part of the double mini-trampoline other than the bed Lands completely in the penalty zone without touching any part of the bed outside the penalty zone with any part of the feet Does not perform a mount, spotter or dismount from or to the correct area, as per Rule Fails to land on both feet, in control, with the chest in an upright position. (See Guide to Judging) 5.2 No credit will be given for the skill in which the interruption occurs in respect of Rules In regards to Rules no additional deductions are taken. 5.3 A pass will be judged only on the elements completed on both feet. 5.4 The decision is made by the Superior Judge. 6. Scoring 6.1 Judges Panel A Superior Judge who also acts as an Execution Judge. Must be Category II or higher OR A Superior Judge who also serves as an Execution Judge and two additional Execution Judges. All Judges must be Category IV or higher. 6.2 Execution Slight faults, for each occurrence Substantial faults, for each occurrence Major faults, for each occurrence (maximum) Execution Judges scores must be no more than 0.2 higher or 0.2 lower than the median score. The Superior Judge will instruct the Execution Judges to re-evaluate their scores if the score(s) are out-of-range Lack of stability after the dismount, take a single deduction for the greater fault only Landing on both feet but lacking stability and not standing still for three seconds. (See Guide to Judging)

Degree of Difficulty 7.1 The difficulty of each skill is calculated on the following basis: Only elements terminating on the feet will be evaluated Each ½ twist 180 o (with the exception of Rule ) Each somersault (360 o ) Single somersaults: Single somersaults performed in the pike or straight position, without twist, will receive a bonus of 0.1 pt Single somersaults with more than one twist 360 o, the difficulty of twist will be as follows: Each ½ twist more than one full twist 0.3 Each ½ twist more than two full twists 0.4 Each ½ twist more than three full twists 0.5 Each ½ twist more than four full twists Side somersaults and skills without twists or somersault rotation have no difficulty value Multiple Somersaults with or without twist Double somersaults performed in the pike position will receive a bonus of 0.4 pts and triple somersaults in the pike position will receive a bonus of 0.8 pts Double somersaults performed in the straight position will receive a bonus of 0.8 pts and triple somersaults in the straight position will receive a bonus of 1.6 pts In double somersaults the value of the element, including any twist, will be doubled. The bonus for the pike and straight position is then added to give the total value of the element In triple somersaults the value of the element, including any twist will be tripled. The bonus for pike and straight position is then added to give the total value of the element. 12
6 LEVELS 8-9 DOUBLE MINI-TRAMPOLINE LEVELS Competition 1.1 Double mini-trampoline competition shall consist of two voluntary passes with a maximum of two skills in each pass. 1.2 In one pass a maximum of three contacts with the bed are allowed with no intermediate bounce between skills. 1.3 Each pass must end with a dismount skill performed from the dismount bed to the landing area. 1.4 Both passes must end with a two-foot landing. 1.5 No final passes are required. 1.6 The starting order for competition will be decided by draw. Competitors will remain in the same order for the second pass. 2. Pass Requirements 2.1 Level Minimum difficulty of 1.9 over the two passes Maximum difficulty of 3.3 over the two passes. If the difficulty exceeds 3.3 then 3.3 will be the total difficulty awarded and a 0.3 pts deduction will be taken for exceeding pass requirements Maximum of 540 o of twist per pass Must perform one mounter skill and one spotter skill within the two passes No double somersaults are allowed. No difficulty will be awarded If a competitor does not meet or exceeds the pass requirements a 0.3 pts deduction will be taken from each Execution Judge s score on the instruction of the Superior Judge. 2.2 Level Minimum difficulty is 3.3 over the two passes The Execution Judges will take a 0.3 pts deduction from the execution score of the second pass for not meeting the minimum difficulty requirements This deduction will be taken only if both passes are completed This deduction will not be taken on passes in which the difficulty is affected by deductions for missing or incomplete complete competition card Maximum difficulty over two passes is 4.8. If the difficulty score exceeds 4.8, then 4.8 will be the total difficulty awarded and a 0.3 pts deduction will be taken from each Execution Judge s score as per Rule Maximum difficulty per skill is 2.4. If the maximum skill difficulty exceeds 2.4, then 2.4 will be the total difficulty awarded for that skill and a 0.3 pts deduction will be taken from each Execution Judge s score as per Rule Minimum of one somersault with at least 360 o of twist within the two passes. 3. Pass Definition 3.1 Each pass consist of two skills (One mount or spotter and one dismount skill). A straight mounting jump without twist is not considered a skill. 3.2 If a straight jump is used as a mounter skill, spotter skill or a dismount skill the pass will be interrupted as per Rule A mounting skill or a straight mounting jump must take off from the mounting area and land in the spotter/dismount area. A spotter skill must take off from the spotter/dismount area and land in the spotter/dismount area. A dismount skill must take off from the spotter/dismount area and land in the landing area. Any violation will cause an interruption of the pass as per Rule Skills may only be repeated when performed in different phases of a pass (mount, spotter or dismount). 14
7 LEVELS After the dismount, a competitor must stand upright for at least three seconds; otherwise they will receive a deduction for lack of stability as per Rule A pass is deemed to have ended after the three seconds have elapsed, as per Rule Scoring 8.1 Judges Panel A Superior Judge who also acts as an Execution Judge. Must be Category II or higher AND Two additional Execution Judges and one Difficulty Judge.
