In the Short Programme, All Spins performed with additional hitching (entrance, change of positions or change of foot) of the employed foot ( pumping ) will be considered a poor quality spin. Therefore in any programme Spins performed in this way will be penalized -0.3 points in the A mark by the Referee for EACH executed Spin. It is allowed to do acrobatic movements (back flips, Cartwheel, etc.) once. Score: will be used the FIRS Short Program System (Rule 131 CERS Artistic book 2018). Deductions: will be used the FIRS-CERS rules 2018.
6 Attached 1 page 5 REQUIRED ELEMENTS OF LONG PROGRAMME 2018 SPECIAL RULES LONG PROGRAM SENIOR and JUNIOR A maximum of eight (8) jumps for women and nine (9) jumps for men excluding the connecting one (1) rotation jumps in the combination. - Maximum three (3) jumps combinations. - The number of jumps within the combination cannot be more than five (5) including the connecting jumps. - It is mandatory to perform an Axel jump that can be presented also in combination. - Axel, doubles and triples cannot be presented more than twice. If presented, one must be in combination. Spin: - Maximum two (2) spin elements must be performed, one of them MUST be a combination spin (maximum five (5) positions) and must include a sit spin. Step Sequence: - There must be a step sequence (serpentine, circle, diagonal, straight line). - A choreagraphic step sequence. Please read also the General Rules FR of World Skate book 2018, page 35, that will apply. Well balanced Free Skating Long Programme Cadet & Youth (See Rule 132 CERS Artistic Book 2018) - A jump of the same kind (type and rotation), with the exception of one revolution jumps or less, can be performed no more than three (3) times in the whole programme. - All the combination jumps MUST be different. - There MUST be at least two (2) spins, one of which MUST be a combination. - Spins MUST be evenly distributed throughout the programme, this means that between two (2) OF the spin elements in the long programme there should be at least two other different elements (at least one steps sequence AND one jump element). A deduction of -0.5 will be deducted in the B mark by the Referee for a program that is not well-balanced

The same spin cannot be presented more than twice in the whole performance. A one-position spin is a spin without change of position, or change of foot or change of edge. A combination spin is a spin where the skater changed foot and/or position and/or edge, the revolutions for each spin MUST be at least two (2). The number of revolutions in upright position to complete any spin (camel or sit) it is not limited and it should not be considered as difficulty as a change of position. In Long programme of Youth Category, a broken ankle spin is not allowed!!

An extra jump will be considered an extra element and will be penalized as such. Quick stops are permitted if they need to characterize the music and it is also allowed to skate on the pattern just executed (retrogression is allowed). The step sequence MUST start from a clear stopped position. Axel + Double jumps: if the skater presents one jump twice or three (3) times, one of these MUST be in combination. In the programme there MUST be at least a Toe Loop element AND a Lutz element (See Rule 147), single and/or double, executed as a single jump or in a combination. Deduction of 0,2 from the A mark will be given by the Referee for an Open Toe Loop. Wrong take off in Lutz will transform the jump to a Flip; if the number of Flips in total are more than the three (3) maximum permitted, the skater will receive a penalty of 0.3 in A mark. NATIONAL DIVISION In National Division A-B Categories could be performed Jumps of max two (2) rotation (NO double Axel or Triples Jumps). In National Division C-D could be performed Jumps of max two rotation and half (2,5), Double Axel included. In the Category National Division A forbidden also Double Loop/Rittberger. - A double jump of the same kind (type), can be performed no more than three (3) times in the whole programme. Double jumps: if the skater presents one double jump for three (3) times, one of these MUST be in combination. If will be performed for more than three (3) time the same Jump, the skater will be penalized -0.3 points in the A mark by the Referee for EACH. - Max three (3) combinations of Jumps, from two (2) to five (5) Jumps. - Spins are free, entry and exit free, except that: National Division A, is forbidden Heel-Camel, Inverted Camel and Broken Ankle. National Division B is forbidden the Broken Ankle. - In the programme must be inserted at least one (1) sequence of step in Diagonal/line, Circle or serpentine. MASTER DIVISION 2018 Maximum 5 single Jumps of maximum two revolution (double axel not permitted). Maximum 2 Combinations jumps, from 2 to max 3 jumps, with jumps of maximum two revolutions Maximum 3 spin element, may be single or combination (max 2 combinations, no more).
