Please inform your parents that players will not be allowed on the field of play until they HAVE BEEN WEIGHED. Again EACH player is required to step on the scales. EVERY player must weigh-in. The teams will be placed on the field before 8:30am and at 8:30am a football will be tossed to a player from each age group by our invited guests. Each team is to be warmed up and ready to step onto the field at your game time. EACH player is required to step on the scales. No Exceptions 7-8, 9-10, and age groups. 8 minutes on defense and 8 minutes on offense -----running clock, no kick offs, and ball spotted on the 30 yard line. Coaches please pay attention to the scrimmage before you. We would like for you to be ready to play immediately after the scrimmage before you. Scrimmages can begin minutes before regular scheduled time. Only two 30 sec. time out on defense and two 30 sec. time out on offense. Weigh- INS will occur no later than 30 minutes prior to your scheduled scrimmage. Teams need to be there 45 minutes prior before the schedule time to play. Please inform your parents that players will not be allowed on the field of play until they HAVE BEEN WEIGHED. The site for weighing the players will be the first room on the Home side as you enter the stadium gate towards the concession stand. Please have a roster of your team with jersey numbers with you to leave with the Rec staff. Again EACH player is required to step on the scales. EVERY player must weigh-in on this day. Every player over their age groups weight limit must have their helmet taped by the Rec staff person. Note: The schedule will be a rolling schedule. This means if a scrimmage game begins at 10:30 and it is over at 10:50; the next team who is scheduled to play at 11:00 needs to be on the field ready to play. We will not wait until 11:00 to start the game; we will begin right after the previous scrimmage. Coaches your teams must be warmed up and ready to play when you walk on the field. At the conclusion of your scrimmage after shaking hands with your opponent you will clear the field immediately in order to allow the start of the next scrimmage. NO coach s speeches on the field, you may talk to your team after leaving the field. We are on a very tight time line gentlemen and your cooperation will be appreciated. Please work with us to keep the day s events organized and on schedule.
5 09/17/ REC NIGHT OCTOBER 5, 2018 WILDCAT Varsity Football Game HOME GATE Football Field. Line-up players from the fence towards parking lot. TEAMS should line up in numerical order listed below. 23,22,21,20,19,18,17,16,15, 14,13,12,11,10,9, 8,7,6,5,4, 3,2,1 (1-3 ARE 12u TEAMS), (4-8 ARE 10u TEAMS), (9-14 ARE 8u TEAMS) AND (15-23 ARE FLAG TEAMS) VISTOR GATE Teams will meet at the back double gate entrance inside the stadium! This gate is located across from the rec pool, closest to the baseball fields. The High School Football Coach has implemented an appreciation night for the youth league football and cheerleading participants to be recognized at a Friday night High School football game. This year it is to be held on Friday October 5th. All teams need to be lined up at the back double gate entrance inside the stadium. We will start with the teams first by the double field gate, then progress through each age group going from the oldest age group to youngest age group. Coaches please have your team at the at the back double gate entrance inside the stadium between 5:30pm and 6:00 pm if you plan to participate. PLEASE BE ON TIME! We will line up starting at the at the back double gate entrance inside the stadium. The cheer squad for a football team should line up behind their football team. The teams will enter the at the back double gate entrance inside the stadium and walk down to the north zone of the field to watch the Wildcats warm up. They will be staying on the field for the Warm up period and then All rec Football teams, coaches and cheer squads will be introduced by the PA announcer as they are exiting the field. There will be footballs flying while the team is warming up so please help look out for the cheerleaders and younger players so that they will not get hit unexpectedly with a football. There is no fee charged to the Players, Cheerleaders, and Four Football coaches per team and Three Cheer Coaches per team. All others must pay to get in the gate. Please let us know by Friday Oct 5 th at 12pm, if your team will not be attending. Coaches you are responsible for your players. If kids are not staying to watch the game, it is your responsibility to make sure they are relocated with the parents. Parents may wait outside the visitor gate to pick up their children, if they are not staying for the game. Players staying for the game must have adult supervision. If they do not have a parent present then they must sit with the coach. Coaches please be sure to supervise your players. No player is to be left unattended (running free). Please help us to supervise the children or we may not be allowed to have another REC NIGHT at the STADIUM. All questions or concerns should be addressed to the athletic staff as soon as they occur. 6 09/17/ Directions to the Playing Fields SMRP = St. Mary s Football Field take Hwy 40 East to St. Mary s, go to third red light (before St. Mary s Aquatics Center), Turn right (this is Street) and go straight until you cross two railroad crossings then take your first left (Meeting Street). When this street comes to an end, you will see the football field/park in front of you. CCRC = Chris Gilman Stadium/Track- (Located behind the High School) you will be turning off of Laurel Island Parkway/Colerain road onto Wildcat Drive (beside large church). Follow this road until you see a beige building with a blue roof (Rec Center) on your right. You will see the stadium next to the rec center Track is in front of Rec center (to your right as you turn into driveway). WB = Woodbine Hwy 110 Community Park take Hwy 17 North to Woodbine. When you come to the red light in Woodbine you will turn left onto Hwy 110. Stay straight on Hwy 110 and you will come to the Park and football field on your left.
