3 1. INTRODUCTION In 213 Woodside Energy (Myanmar) Pte Ltd entered into a farm-in agreement with MPRL E&P Pte Ltd with respect to Block A-6 (A-6). In 215, Total E&P Myanmar farmed in to A-6. Woodside Energy (Myanmar) Pte Ltd (Woodside), as Operator on behalf of the Joint Venture, conducted the A-6 Thazin 3D Marine Seismic Survey (MSS) between 11 April 216 and 6 May 216. The A-6 Initial Environmental Examination (IEE) Environmental and Social Management Plan (ESMP) was successfully implemented and the activity is now complete. 1.1 Purpose This End of Survey Environmental Report has been prepared by Woodside for submission to Myanmar Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation (MONREC) to fulfil the requirement for an End of Survey Environment Report and MFO Final Report detailed in the A-6 IEE. 2. ACTIVITY SUMMARY Table 2-1 below provides a summary of the MSS. Table 2-1: Activity details: A-6 Thazin 3D MSS Activity Details Operator Name of Activity Vessels Woodside Energy (Myanmar) Pte Ltd A-6 Thazin 3D Marine Seismic Survey M/V Ramform Titan (Seismic Vessel) M/V Thor Beamer, M/V Thor Assister and M/V Thor Freyja (Support Vessels) Start/End date of activities 11 April 216 to 6 May 216 Difficulties encountered None Non-compliances Accidents and incidents Monitoring data Contact Person There were no non-compliances against the commitment tables of the A-6 IEE. The operations did not result in any accidents or incidents relating to community health and safety, or the environment. Section 3 provides a summary of Marine fauna observations, and Section 4 details fishing vessel sightings recorded during the MSS. Daniel Clery Daniel.clery@woodside.com.au Page 3 of 11
4 3. SUMMARY OF MFO MITIGATION 3.1 Summary information The first soft start was prior to the first shot of sequence 154 of the MSS, which started at 1:52 UTC on 11 April 216 ( N, E). Two Marine Fauna Observers (MFO) and two Passive Acoustic Monitoring (PAM) operators were responsible for mitigation monitoring and compliance in relation to Woodside s commitment to manage marine noise. The MFO and PAM operators employed during the MSS had more than two years professional field experience with MFO/PAM, a degree or post-graduate qualification in Environmental Science or Marine Science, or were Certified Marine Mammal Observers, or both. Commitments implemented included voluntary adoption of best practice procedures, as outlined in the Joint Nature Conservation Committee (JNCC) Guidelines (August 21), and a shutdown protocol for whales, dugongs, sea turtles and whale sharks observed within 5 metres (m) of the active acoustic source. The PAM system was monitored 24 hours/day and one MFO was on duty at all times during daylight hours. No marine fauna injuries or fatalities occurred as a result of the MSS. The last shot of the project occurred at 7:3 UTC on 6 May 216 ( N, E). 3.2 Weather conditions All visual effort was conducted in clear conditions, with no precipitation (325 hours) and in good visibility (i.e. more than 5 km) 1% of the survey time. At no time during the MSS were observations hampered by poor visibility or high winds. 3.3 Mitigation actions There were no shutdowns during seismic acquisition and no delayed soft starts reported during the MSS. A total of 55 marine fauna groups were observed or detected during the MSS. Of these, 19 groups were observed/detected whilst the seismic source was active and 36 groups were observed/detected whilst there was no seismic source activity. 3.4 Location, time and distance of marine fauna sightings The location, time and distance of all marine fauna sightings are provided in Appendix 1. The MSS resulted in two new cetacean occurrence records for Myanmar waters. Overall, the vast majority of sightings during the survey were of dolphins (Figure 1). The number of sightings varied over the MSS. However based on the data collected, it cannot be concluded if this is due to a spatial or temporal effect, or both (Figure 2). A seismic vessel is constantly moving while acquiring data. Therefore observations only occur in the immediate vicinity of the vessel at one time. The MFO data represents observations at a single point in time in the block. It cannot be interpreted if an increase in sightings was due to marine fauna presence increasing or decreasing over time, or due to the presence of marine fauna in a particular section of block A Page 4 of 11

SUMMARY OF FISHING VESSEL SIGHTINGS RECORDED During the MSS, there were 18 fishing vessel sightings, and five fishing gear sightings recorded within and near block A-6 (Figure 3). No grievances were recorded. The majority of fishing equipment was found drifting in the ocean, with no apparent owner. Through consultation, we determined that most vessels originated from Pathein or Dawei, and were found to be fishing for tuna. 8 5. STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT Woodside, on behalf of the joint venture, conducted extensive consultation in accordance with the A-7 IEE. Stakeholders were identified at three levels Union (country/national level), regional (Ayeyarwady region) and Local (town and village-tract levels). Stakeholder groups included Government, civil society and institutions and potentially affected people in local communities. Consultation occurred across all key phases; to inform the IEE, to gather baseline data and for disclosure of the IEE. Information about activities, including key safety requirements was provided as part of community consultations and throughout the activity (See Figure 8 below). During the activity, Woodside had a community liaison officer and a grievance mechanism in place. No grievances were recorded. Figure 8: Poster and fact sheet produced for the Thazin MSS Page 8 of 11
