Deadline for Entries Entry registrations must be forwarded to the Tournament Coordinator prior to departing on any fishing trip. 2. Eligible Participants The tournament is open to all members and their guests. This is an amateur tournament. Therefore, professional charter boats and captains services may not be hired for this tournament. However, small-boat charter captains who are also OBAC members may enter the tournament and fish with other members and/or guests. 3. Entry Fee Members and guests - $10.00 per angler Anglers age 15 and under free 4. Awards Awards for the three heaviest fish will be as follows: 1 st Place 50% of tournament entry fees 2 nd Place 30% of tournament entry fees 3 rd Place 20% of tournament entry fees In the event, less than 3 fish are entered, the awards will be: 2 Fish 1 st Place - 60% of entry fees 2 nd Place 40% of entry fees 1 Fish 1 st Place - 100% of entry fees 5. Allowed Fishing Fishing is allowed from a boat, pier, or shore. All fish must be caught by use of rod and reel. To be eligible for prizes, fish must be hooked and caught by the entrant. No other person may touch the rod, reel or line. Another person may touch the leader or may assist in landing a fish via net, gaff or other similar means. Entrants are responsible for being familiar with applicable fisheries laws and neither OBAC, nor any member thereof, is responsible for inaccurate information given. Entrants are responsible for obtaining fishing licenses. 6. Boundaries Fishing is allowed only in the waters of the Atlantic Ocean and North Carolina Inland Waterways between the below listed latitudes (Per LatLong.net). Northernmost latitude (NC/VA border) 36 31' '' N Southernmost latitude (NC/SC border) 33 50' '' N 7. Days of Fishing Wednesday, May 23, 2018 thru Sunday, July 29, 2018 All fish must be caught and weighed-in on the dates of the tournament. Page #1 of 5

2 Page #2 of 5 8. Weather Each entrant is responsible for evaluating weather conditions on tournament days and for determining whether to fish. 9. Cancellation In the unlikely event the tournament must be canceled entry fees will be refunded. 10. Disqualification A violation of these rules is grounds for disqualification from the tournament. 11. Official Weigh Station Any Official NC Weigh Station may be utilized. Available weigh stations: All of the TW's Jennette's Pier 7223 S Virginia Dare Trl, Nags Head Whalebone Tackle 7405 S Virginia Dare Trl, Nags Head Pirate's Cove Marina 2000 Sailfish Dr, Manteo Weigh-in must be documented and signed by the weigh station employee on an Outer Banks Anglers Club Catch Record form. Citation fish may be entered on the official NC form. All entries must be reported to the Tournament Coordinator no later than the day following the catch. Utilize voic and if necessary. 12. Disputes The members of the OBAC Board of Directors will resolve all issues, questions, protests, or disputes and their decision will be final. 13. OBAC Reserved Right The OBAC Board of Directors reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone for a well-founded reason. 14. Vessel Safety All vessels used in fishing this tournament must adhere to USCG regulations for their size and category. 15. Weigh-In Conditions Each angler may enter one fish. It is allowable for a larger fish caught on a subsequent trip to replace a previous entry. Fish must not be mutilated in any way. Finishing placement will be determined in decreasing weight order. In the event two or more fish are the same weight, finishing placement will be determined by the total length of the fish - longer placing ahead of shorter. If the length is the same, finishing placement will be determined by the time of fish weigh-in - earlier placing ahead of later. A copy of the signed catch record or NC Citation Fish form must be forwarded to the Tournament Coordinator as soon as possible following the report of catch.

By registering, the entrant holds harmless- the OBAC, the OBAC Board of Directors, the Tournament Coordinator, all persons connected directly or indirectly with the operation of the tournament, from liability of any kind including, but not limited to - libel, slander, loss, damage, negligence, harm, injury, or death, suffered by - an entrant, a companion, boat captain, crew member, family vessel, or equipment, which occurred during the tournament.
