Lake Elsinore, CA Refunds: Are non-refundable with the following exception: If a contestant suffers a serious personal emergency. If an emergency occurs, the emergency situation must be presented in written format to the attention of Derby Director either via or by U.S. mail. All emergency situations must be presented for consideration before the first official day of the tournament in question. Extreme cases that occur during the period of the tournament in question may be presented during that period. However, no evaluation by the LECASINO Board of Directors will take place prior to the conclusion of the tournament. The LECASINO Board of Directors will make the final decision in regard to all requests. There will be no appeal.

2 Official Rules & Regulations 2018 Rules & Regulations A team may consist of one to two members. All team members must fish together i.e. use the same boat, etc. Passengers are allowed in boat. Entry fee: $ per team. Personal checks, cash, or certified funds accepted. All entries paid (*100% payback based on 50 team entries). A signed and completed entry form must be received at Lake Elsinore Casino no later than May 4th, 2018 by 5:00pm. All teams must check in for final registration at Lake Elsinore Casino on Friday, May 4th, 2018, no later than 8:00pm. Registration opens at 4:00pm. Fishing times: Saturday, May 5th 2018 between 6:00am - 2:00pm. Sunday, May 6th, 2018 between 6:00am - 1:00pm. Fish must be registered at La Laguna Marina weigh stations no later than one hour after the close of each tournament day. This means scales will close at 3:00pm on Saturday, May 5th 2018 and 2:00pm Sunday, May 6th, All entries will be based on weight, in case of a tie; length will be determining factor. The 6th Annual Lake Elsinore Dream Extreme Fishing Derby is subject to cancellation due to weather conditions. Cancellation decisions will be made by Derby officials, La Laguna Marina, and/or the US Forest Service. Marine Band Radio will notify Anglers. All teams must meet back at Lake Elsinore Casino where prizes will be awarded on Saturday May 5th, 2018 at approximately 4:00pm and Sunday, May 6th, 2018 at approximately 3:00pm. Prize money will be contingent upon 100 entries. Monies for prizes may increase depending upon the number of entries. There is also a side pot of $10.00 per each species; OVERALL Big Fish will be paid out Sunday, May 6th, 2018 only. There will be no team weight category. All fish entered are subject to examination by fisheries, biologists and derby officials. Weigh-in stations will be provided at La Laguna Marina. All teams MUST report with La Laguna Marina Derby officials on Saturday evening no later than 3:00pm. Any team failing to do so will be disqualified. Vessels: All vessels must meet Lake Elsinore City Regulation and California specifications. Life jackets (Coast Guard Approved) must be worn when the boat is on plane. Approved vessels can include boats, jet skis, kayaks, float tubes, and introducing stand-up paddle boards.

3 Official Rules & Regulations 2018 Rules & Regulations (cont.) Protests: Must be submitted in writing within 15 minutes from close of scales. All state, federal & local DFG laws must be abided by. Live Bait: Live or dead bait may be used to catch all qualifying species. Permitted Fishing Methods: All fish must be caught in a sporting method consistent with Lake Elsinore Lake rules and CA Department of Fish and wildlife regulations. Teams may weigh in up to one fish per category, Bass (13 inches in length), wiper, crappies, catfish, carp.measuring will be on a flat board with mouth closed (will fan or pinch tail). Teams weighing in a short fish will be accessed a (.25) lb. penalty. Teams bringing more than one fish per category to the scales will be disqualified. A penalty of (.25) ;b. per dead Bass will be deducted from total weight. You must cull your fish (no culling at the ramp). Teams returning to the checkpoint late will lose one lb. per minute up to 15 minutes after that you will be disqualified. Insurance: I understand and acknowledge that boating and fishing is a dangerous sport. I have sufficient health, accident and liability insurance to cover and bodily or property injury claim arising from my participation in this event Liability: I hereby release, discharge, and agree to hold harmless Lake Elsinore Casino, it s officers, directors, sponsors, or hosts of any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or rights of action, which are related to or anyway connected, to my participation in this event. Grounds For Disqualification 1. Any returned checks. 2. Violations of any Riverside County/ California fishing or boating safety regulations.

I am fully cognizant of the risks and dangers inherent in fishing derbies. I certify that myself and my family or team members present with me, are fully capable of participating in the said activity. Therefore, I assume full responsibility for personal injury to myself, and/or to a member of my family or team for loss or damage to my personal property and expenses thereof as a result of my negligence or the negligence of my family, team participating in said activity except the extent such damage or injury may be due to the negligence of others.
