1 NEWSLETTER (Oct. / Nov. / Dec.) 4th Quarter 2010 Our staff traveled un-told miles bowhunting all over the USA and Canada as well as around the globe, looking for the best bowhunting opportunities. In order to be able to make recommendations on the best places to bowhunt, it requires a heavy travel schedule. 2 Moose hunting was also exceptional in Newfoundland as usual with over 80% success rate and 91% shot opportunity. Several clients took both moose and caribou in Newfoundland - congrats to Alan McGraw (left) and Larry Hudson (below). Our woodland caribou hunts in Newfoundland continued to have 100% shot opportunity with all but one client bringing home their woodlands. Congrats to Adam Cramer on this exceptional stag. Brian Benyo was successful on a late season sheep hunt taking a great Big Horn in Alberta, but went through some really tough weather to get it done. Congrats Brian! We had some excellent mule deer harvested from eastern CO up to southern Alberta. Congrats so John Chinuntdet on this 30"+ CO buck.

4 WHITETAILS With full moon forcing early rut activity across the mid-west whitetail hunters well late Oct. into early November. Proceeding into mid-nov we struggled in Kansas, Iowa, and Missouri but managed to hold 65% shot opportunity on mature bucks. Shot placement was a problem for some this Fall with 10 unrecovered animals. In October Clint Hukill connected on nice 140in buck in Texas. did Neil Summers (left) managed to arrow this neat buck in southern Kansas in the 1 st week of November. Mike Small (right) took this nice 8pt in Ohio but a very proud father as his son Ryan also to ok his first whitetail with bow.

In December Eric Kuhlman and I took good bucks at one of our Texas operations. BSC is always looking to expand our options for our traveling whitetail hunters.

The license application service is designed to provide you the support you may need in getting the hunting tags and licenses for some of the more difficult drawings in the western states. Understanding the requirements for each states drawing of tags and acquiring of preference points/bonus points is a daunting and time consuming task. Not understanding the different processes for each state could prevent you from getting to the hunt of your dreams. With the license application service you can expect the following service: -Completed application(s) (online or paper copy) for requested tag and/or preference/bonus points, by state and species. -Tracking your points and application status -An annual reminder your points status and the deadlines of applying - updates of changes to deadlines and hunting regulations of states that interest you -The ability to work with our consultants to decide which states, hunt units and outfitter will best serve your hunting goals

About Cindy Osting The last five years I have really enjoyed learning about hunting and exploring new areas in North America and Canada. Like many bowhunters I have dreams to hunt in the west for animals such as elk, moose, mule deer and sheep. Wanting to know what it would take to get me on those hunts I discovered how cumbersome and time consuming it would be to just build preference points, let alone draw a tag! I ve been working over the past year to understand the requirements of drawing tags of each state. My goal is to use that knowledge to assist our clients when it comes to building preference points and drawing tags for the hunt of their dreams.
