1 NC Triangle Chapter SCI Banquet, March 25, 2017 Draft Live Auction Program (3/17/2017) (1) Ontario fishing trip: This 5 day northern fishing experience is for one angler, hosted in a lodge in Kapuskasing, Ontario valid for the 2017 or 2018 (May 19 th to September 10 th ). Boats motors and guides are included in this package. All fishing gear (including PFDs is the responsibility of the attending participants. Walleye, northern and smallmouth bass are plentiful in the numerous lakes and rivers in this part of Northern Ontario. The lodge can accommodate groups up to ten. Additional fishers can be added for $1500 per person. (2) SCI Life Membership Value $1500 (3) Florida Wild Boar Hunt with Bay Dogs- A 1½ day group hunt for 4 hunters at Ross Hammock Ranch on Florida s Gulf Coast, less than a 2 hour drive NW of Orlando. Includes all meals, snacks, drinks, licenses, guides, cook/maid service, one night s lodging, ranch vehicles, fuel, basic skin/quarter/clean/ ice down for hunter s game taken. Also includes the trophy fee for the first trophy hog taken by the group. (1 hog donated, per group, not per person). Lodging is at the fantastic RHR Cypress Log Lodge, use of 3D archery & rifle ranges, ranch vehicles, fuel, and basic skin / quarter / clean / ice down of game taken. It also includes use of the pack of RHR bay dogs (the real heroes) that will insure a successful and very exciting hunt! The winners of this hunt may add additional trophy boars, or other game, and/or add additional guests, or nights at RHR published pricing. (4) South Dakota Pheasant Hnt Pheasant City Lodge has offered a 2-day/2-night all inclusive pheasant hunting package for two hunters. The package includes onsite lodging, all you can eat home-cooked family-style meals, trap shooting, field ammo, trap ammo, transportation to/from hunting fields, seasoned guides with well-trained pointing and flushing dogs, bird cleaning/processing/freezing. The winning bidder of the 2-man hunt, must bring 2 additional hunters at $1,500/ hunter. Full Payment for the additional hunters will be sent to Pheasant City Lodge when booking hunting dates. An extra day of hunting may be added for $500/ hunter, and an extra night can be booked at night $50/ hunter. Booking for 2017 started March 1 st!

(6) Ohio Whitetail hunt for 1 hunter with Dakota Outfitters: this hunt is an all-inclusive 4 day/3 night experience with private to semi-private room, hot delicious meals, beverages, private guide, and field prep. This CLASSIC hunt is for a whitetail deer measuring up to 165. Hunt can be upgraded to MONSTER GRADE HUNT. Located in the Appalachia foothills, near Quaker City, Ohio. (7) Elk Ivory Earrings: Here is a custom-made pair of earrings fashioned from top quality elk ivories and 14k gold, highlighted by Moissanite (created diamond) stones. Retail value $1,200.

3 (8) Ontario Wolf Hunt- One hunter will chase the elusive Ghost of the North in the far reaches of Northern Ontario. This 6-day, fully guided hunt is based in Kapukasing, Ontario, and includes lodging, meals and guide. The trip can be scheduled for December 1 through March 30 of 2017 or Not included: tips, airport pickup, licenses ($400), hide preparation ($100). Trip can be extended for $500 per day, and an additional hunter costs $3,000. Non-hunters are welcome at $1,500 per week. The closest airport is Timmins, Ontario (90) miles where clients must rent a truck that will be needed to drive to hunting areas daily. This outfitter has a unique strategy for hunting wolves that is explained on his website. (9) Texas Exotic Hunt, 2-day guided hunt for 1 hunter: This hunt will be on the 5,000 acre Pinto Ranch in Kerr County Texas. Donation includes: pick up and drop off at the San Antonio airport, 2-day guided hunting for one person, lodge and 2 meals/day for one person for 2 nights, field dressing and cold storage of animal with ice for cooler. Not included is a discounted trophy fee of $1,000 for any one of the following for the bid winner only: Blackbuck buck, Texas Dall, Hawaiian Black Sheep or Sika buck. Extra guests are welcome at a special price of $100/day. Bid winner and guest will have the Outfitter price on any additional animals during 2-day hunt, per the price list. Donation is good for 18 months. (10) African Sable Safari 2 hunters and 2 observers will enjoy a 6 day adventure in the Northwest Province of South Africa on a concession of Africa Maximum Safaris. Hunt includes daily rates for 2 hunters and 2 observers, luxury safari lodge accommodations, all meals, and service of professional hunter and camp staff. Also includes the trophy fee for one sable antelope. The second hunter can also take a sable for a discounted trophy fee of $6,500. Additional species can be taken for trophy fees. Value: $16,000 (11) Ontario Bird Hunt: 5-day duck and grouse combination hunt over retrievers and pointing dogs for 1 hunter in Ontario. This hunt includes meals and lodging and can be extended for extra days ($350/day). Additional hunters are welcome for $1,750. Non-hunters welcome at $900 per week. Not included are licenses, tips and transportation. The hunter must provide their own transportation to and from hunting areas. Trip arrival/departure point is Kapaskasing, Ontario.

4 (12) Hunters Choice, New Zealand - Four Seasons Safaris New Zealand has donated a 4-day hunters choice safari for two hunters, including a $1000 credit to be shared by the 2 hunters toward either a Tahr or trophy Red Stag for 2016 or Hunt includes 4 days hunting for 2 hunters, 2 x 1 guiding, chalet accommodation, meals, and the shared $1000 trophy fee credit. This donated hunt can be extended for additional days, upgraded to include additional NZ species, additional hunters and non-hunters welcome. Not included is weapons permit, expediting, taxidermy, shipping/packing or export documents of trophies and gratuities, accommodation before and after the hunt. Transportation from Christchurch International Airport is also not included. If applicable, helicopter fees are also not included. The Jurassic Classic is an annual sturgeon fishing tournament on the majestic Fraser River in beautiful Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada. 30 professionally guided teams will enjoy two full days of fun-filled fishing adventure and will be treated to first class hospitality. You are purchasing a team, consisting of two anglers, who will experience two full days of professionally guided world-class sturgeon fishing with Great River Fishing Adventures ( Three nights accommodations, all meals, fishing equipment and transportation between the river and the hotel are provided. The weekend is an all-inclusive experience including meals, a live auction to benefit wild sheep, and an awards banquet for tournament prizes. You must make your own travel arrangements to the tournament, alcohol is available for purchase at the hotel. Fishing licenses are the responsibility of each angler. In total there are 15 boats, 30 teams and 60 fishermen. Each river jet boat will include two teams and a professional guide. The event planning committee has sold the 30 team slots to clubs and chapters across North America, including a number of SCI Chapters. So the winning bidder tonight will be representing NC Triangle Chapter in this tournament, for a little friendly competition!

5 The tournament was developed to support wild sheep projects in British Columbia, which is home to Dall s Sheep, Stone Sheep, and both Rocky Mountain and California Bighorns! Partners include the Wild Sheep foundation, the BC Wildlife Federation, the Wild Sheep Society of BC, and Great River Fishing Adventures. The project is also being used for sturgeon conservation, as the fish are measured and tagged as part of a mark recapture study to learn more about these 300 millionyear-old dinosaur fish! Jurassic Classic 2016 Trailer Video: (15) Nebraska Deer Hunter s Choice Hunt Mule Deer or Whitetail: This is a 4-day hunt for one hunter in Custer County on over 40,000 all private game managed acres with very high success. Nebraska gives hunters a lot of choice and so does this auction! The hunt can be for mule deer or whitetail, and with muzzleloader or archery gear including crossbows you decide!! This hunt needs to be scheduled in 2017 for the appropriate Nebraska season of your choice, season information and dates can be found at OutdoorNebraska.gov. The hunt includes guiding, field lunch and motel accommodations in Broken Bow situated in the heart of Custer County and the famous Sand Hills. ScottOutdoors.com has been in business over 20 years and is one of the best in the Midwest!! (16) Taxidermy Certificate: This is a credit towards $500 in taxidermy services by Jim Williams of Eastern Carolina Taxidermy. (17) Gold Quartz Pendant: Gold bearing quartz is found by hard rock miners and is a natural creation. The gold in this beautiful stone was mixed with white quartz when both were in a molten state. When they solidified these natural veins of gold were trapped within the quartz crystals. This high-grade white gold quartz piece came from the Sixteen to One Mine in Northern California. The piece is set in 14K gold, highlighted by diamonds. The gold in these quartz pieces usually runs between 18-20k. The quartz, which holds the gold, is extremely durable. (19) Texas Combo Hunt for 2 Hunters: L&L Adventures invites two hunters for a 3 day combination hunt for whitetail and exotics at the 150 Year-Old Historic Calhoun Working Cattle Ranch. The package includes a credit of $4,000 ($2,000 per Hunter) towards 2 Professionally Guided Trophy Whitetail Deer ( Class), and a $2,000 credit for 2 Hunters ($1,000 per Hunter) towards an Exotic Trophy Hunt. Exotics can be selected from a variety of over 30+ Exotics that can be hunted year-round. Hunters can hunt additional animals at a 10% discount.

(21) Chesapeake Bay Striper Fishing- This is a 2-day fishing trip for up to six people with Captain Charlie Bryan/CB Charters on the Chesapeake Bay for striped bass. Capt. Charlie is a native Eastern Shoreman with 35 years experience fishing, crabbing, and oystering on the Chesapeake Bay. Trip is to be taken on 2 consecutive days during the 2017 season from 5/15/17 thru 11/30/17. Based on Kent Island, on Maryland s Eastern Shore, just 10 minutes from the Chesapeake Bay Bridge. The boat is a traditional Chesapeake Bay charter boat, with plenty of room at 40 x 12. Lodging and meals are not included, but are available nearby. (22) Alaska Cast & Blast: Alaska's Legend Lodge is located 250 miles Southwest of Anchorage on the Alaskan Peninsula in the world famous Bristol Bay Fishery. Legend Lodge specializes in fly fishing for trophy Rainbow Trout, Silver Rainbows, Silver (Coho) Salmon, Sockeye Salmon, King (Chinook) Salmon, Char, Northern Pike, & Grayling. Legend lodge is pleased to offer cast and blast vacations in September. Hunting for ducks, ptarmigan and spruce grouse is available at no extra cost during the fall season. Ducks are hunted with decoys and a retriever dog over wild rice fields. Ptarmigan are hunted on the tundra. Spruce grouse are also found in the Intricate Bay area. There is little or no pressure on these birds and you will experience some exceptional hunting. Bring a 12 gauge shotgun. We do have additional guns available if needed. 8 (23) Ohio whitetail hunt for 2 hunters: Briarwood Sporting Club in Bellefontaine, Ohio, has donated a 3 day/4 night hunt for two Northeastern Whitetail Deer. Included are daily fees for 2 hunters ($2,000 value), a $1,000 credit per hunter toward the harvest of two trophy whitetails. Daily fees include lodging, meals, beverages, professional guide and transportation of trophies to local meat processor/taxidermist. Method of take is hunter s choice. Briarwood is located 45 minutes Northwest of Columbus, Ohio. Hunt to be taken per available dates, September 17 - December 14, 2017, or Taxidermy/shipping of trophy are not included but can be arrangedwww.briarwoodwhitetails.com (24) Texas turkey and hog hunt for 2-hunters: This is a 3 day/2 night hunt for 2 hunters in West Texas. Donation includes 2 Rio Grande turkeys for each hunter; hog hunting; ranch-style accommodations; all meals and beverages while at the ranch. Hunters will be guided 1 on 1, but may hunt together if they choose. This hunt is valid for the 2018 spring Turkey Season only. Hunter will need to book available dates with the outfitter in advance.
