1 Black Box Sealed Bid Table Black Box Table items all have minimum reserve prices, and only sealed bids will be accepted. Best sealed bid at or over the minimum reserve price for each item wins that item. To help you bid your maximum without fear of over paying, the following rules will apply. When there is only one bid for an item, the winner gets that item for the minimum reserve price regardless of how high his/her bid was for. When there are multiple sealed bids for the same Black Box item, the highest bidder will pay the lesser of his bid or $100 over the second highest bid. In the event of a tie, the tiebreaker will be decided by a second round of sealed bidding or in cases where more than one of the item is available, two bidders may become winners. Example: - An item has a minimum reserve of $ Bidder A places a sealed bid of $1500 and there are no other bids then Bidder A wins the item for $ Bidder A bids $1500 and Bidder B bids $1200. Bidder A will win that item for $1300 ($100 over 2 nd highest bid). If Bidder B had bid $1450, Bidder A would win for the $1500 bid. - If they both bid $1500 and more than one of the items is available then both would win the item for $1500. If only one item is available, the item goes to a second round of bidding between those two bidders only.
