4 Dear Public Service Director, Download the PDF version Time is running out for rhinos, giraffes, penguins and other species. There are only three Northern White Rhinos left in the world. In just 15 years, giraffe populations have fallen from 140,000 to just 85,000. The number of African penguins living in the wild has dropped by 70% in the last decade. Wildlife is endangered, but there is hope. Together we can turn things around and end extinction. San Diego Zoo Global is leading the fight against extinction. We are committed to using science-based techniques and collaborating with others to save species from extinction. We have succeeded with many species! We have bred more than 165 endangered species and reintroduced over 35 species back into the wild. Our Wildlife Conservancy program empowers people from around the world to help us save species from extinction in a variety of ways. Our supporters and members play a crucial role in our conservation efforts. Your support of our public service campaign makes our fight possible. Please help inform your audience about the urgency of conserving species by airing our new PSAs titled "Turn Things Around - Rhino" (:30, :15), "Turn Things Around - Giraffe" (:30, :15) and "Turn Things Around - Penguin" (:30). These PSAs raise awareness about the plight of species that may go extinct within five to 20 years if they are not protected. The PSAs, which have no end date for use, also encourage viewers to visit ENDextinction.org, for more information. If you have any questions regarding this PSA campaign, please contact our distribution representative at Connect360 Multimedia, Emely Rivas ( ; erivas@c360m.com). Thank you in advance for your consideration and support of endangered species conservation. Sincerely, Ted Molter Chief Marketing Officer San Diego Zoo Global 3
5 Turn Things Around San Diego Zoo Global is leading the fight against extinction.
