1 FIELD DEVICES ANALYTICAL Product Specifications PSS 6-1C6 A EP462 Series ph Sensors - Twist-Lock Mount OVERVIEW The EP462 Series is a family of twist-lock style combination ph sensors designed for quick and easy sensor installation and removal. The model codes EP462A and EP462C versions have a choice of low-impedance bulb for pure water applications with conductivity in the range of 1-10 μs/cm. A choice of process-wetted O-ring material, EPR/Viton or Kalrez, provides greater chemical compatibility. Titanium solution ground and integral temperature compensation are standard. The twist-lock mounting adapter is available in Kynar or 316 ss, and each is available in either 3/4 or 1 NPT process connection. The mounting adapter also accepts a 316 ss locking cap, for added safety. For low-conductivity applications, the following items are recommended: EP462A sensor EP463E twist-lock flow chamber (1) Optional EP464A locking cap FEATURES/BENEFITS Twist-lock style process connection allows quick and efficient installation and removal of ph sensor. Low-impedance bulb option for low-conductivity process streams, 1-10 μs/cm. Double junction reference with self-pressurizing electrolyte resists contamination. Kynar twist-lock body with integral bulb guard for tough applications. 1. EP463E combines the features of EP463C and into one, more cost effective, easier to use assembly.
