The Norfolk driver started on the outside of the second row and led the first lap of a race that never saw a caution.

3 Page 2 Saturday, June 18, 2016 Ben Sukup (07) leads Junior Coover (10) into turn three during their heat race. Sukup later won the feature. Sukup takes first track win From the drop of the green flag to the checkered flag, Ben Sukup was never challenged in the 25-lap feature to win his first feature race at the track. The Norfolk driver started on the outside of the second row and led the first lap of a race that never saw a caution. Twelve laps into the feature, Sukup caught the back of the field and in twelve more laps he was working to overlap the ninth-place car. The win gave him his second top 5 of the season. Travis Birkley of Wakefield crossed the line second. He broke into the top three on lap six and was running second after eight laps. Finishing third was, Chad Jensen of Norfolk. He moved into the top 3 on lap 16 passing Cory Haase of Norfolk. Robert Osborne of Norfolk and Plainview s Jim Johnson finished fourth and fifth, respectively. Osborne and Johnson lead the division with the most top 5s at five each. Robert Osborne (35) won his heat race and later finished fourth in the feature for his fifth top 5. Page 10 Saturday, June 18, 2016 Ramsey Meyer (21R) won his fourth feature of the season. Shannon Pospisil (00) placed second in the feature as Brooke Fluckiger (2B) finished third.

Meyer victorious again Pierce driver Ramsey Meyer s car stayed together last week to give him his fourth win this season at the track.

The race started with a red flag when Dustin Jackson of O Neill and Mark Benedict of Norfolk ended up nose first into the backstretch wall. Both drivers walked away.

On the restart, both Randy Nelson of Albion and Meyer got by Smidt and battled for the lead for a couple laps. Meyer then moved out front and led the final seven laps for the win.

5 Page 10 Saturday, June 18, 2016 Ramsey Meyer (21R) won his fourth feature of the season. Shannon Pospisil (00) placed second in the feature as Brooke Fluckiger (2B) finished third. Colby Kaspar (39) moves to the inside of Lance Mielke (7m). Kaspar finished fourth in the feature as Mielke took fifth. Meyer victorious again Pierce driver Ramsey Meyer s car stayed together last week to give him his fourth win this season at the track. Two DNFs are the only blemish on his scored card this season, otherwise he has posted. The race started with a red flag when Dustin Jackson of O Neill and Mark Benedict of Norfolk ended up nose first into the backstretch wall. Both drivers walked away. When the race restarted, Kandie Smidt of Norfolk led the first lap, before a caution came out. On the restart, both Randy Nelson of Albion and Meyer got by Smidt and battled for the lead for a couple laps. Meyer then moved out front and led the final seven laps for the win. Shannon Pospisil of Norfolk battled with Columbus Brooke Fluckiger to the checkered flag. Pospisil had a half-a-car length on Fluckiger for the second position. It was Pospisil s sixth top 5 of the season. Fluckiger was third for her fifth top 5. Colby Kaspar of Norfolk finished fourth, his third top 5. Lance Mielke overcame a early incident to place fifth for his seventh top 5. Bruns managed to pull to the outside of Pettitt, but the two veteran drivers ran side-by-side for four laps. Bruns finally pulled the advantage to take the white flag.

Fourth went to Fred DeSive of O Neill for his best finish at the track. Jeff Thomas of Winnebago rounded out the top 5 with his second straight finish at fifth.

Pettitt regrouped and finished second in the feature. Bruns captures second win Chad Bruns was able to run down the leader, but passing was another thing. It took several laps, before the Wayne driver completed the pass to take the white flag and his second win of the season. Tanner Pettitt of Pierce led the first lap before Ron Pettitt slipped by to lead the next seven laps. Bruns followed Ron Pettitt through to take second. Bruns managed to pull to the outside of Pettitt, but the two veteran drivers ran side-by-side for four laps. Bruns finally pulled the advantage to take the white flag. It was his fourth career win at the track and his sixth top 5 for the season. Pettitt crossed second for his fifth top 5, as Tanner Pettitt crossed third for his best effort at the track. Fourth went to Fred DeSive of O Neill for his best finish at the track. Jeff Thomas of Winnebago rounded out the top 5 with his second straight finish at fifth. 9 Page 8 Saturday, June 18, 2016 Tracy Buck (28) takes the checkered flag ahead of Austin Brauner (10A) in the feature. Buck outlasts carnage Tracy Buck saw the lead, then not the lead, and then he was back out front at the end to win his first feature win. The Neligh driver endured three cautions and a red flag in the 15-lap feature. Gage Koch of Norfolk led the feature first, and as Buck challenged for the top spot, Jeremy Hoskinson of Norfolk beat him to the punch and went three-wide to take the lead. However, three laps later Hoskinson slowed with a flat tire, and Buck found himself back out front pacing the field. But after taking the lead, two cautions and a red flag stalled out the show before another lap could be completed. Mark Arduser of Battle Creek brought out the red flag when his car clipped a spun vehicle, which shot his backend straight into the air. The car then slammed back to the ground before Mark Arduser (4) lies outside his car after he his car went airborne, landed and flipped onto his roof. Arduser walked to the rescue vehicle. rolling to its roof. He was slow to get out of the vehicle but he was able to walk away after catching his breath. When racing resumed with four laps left, Buck found himself in a battle for the win with newcomer Austin Brauner of St. Edward. Brauner managed to get to the outside of Buck and in turns three and four, Brauner could not get the grip he needed and Buck easily took the victory. It was Buck s third top 5, but also his second straight top 2. Brauner was second. Nate DeSive of Verdigre was third as Koch finished fourth. Rounding out the top 5 was TeJay Mielke. Addison had the advantage at the finish line to win his second feature of the season. Addison said he had been using the ruts into turn one to set his car through turn one, however, on the final missed the mark and pushed up t allowing Fox to get the inside lin into the turn three. As they exited turn four, the together and as they wrestled to t Addison surged ahead for the wi Addison only led the final tw to take the win.
