3 Year 7 Boys Football Match Report Polesworth vs Higham Lane Thursday 23 rd March 2017 Walking onto the pitch, we started well and got the opening goal where Sam Batchelor scored what was an amazing free kick. This had put us in front by one goal to nil. We had more of the possession and dominated the first half. Nearer to the end of the first half Dylan Kane scored and at the end, of the first half we were 2 up. They weren t really in the game in the first half. In the second half they had come back a bit stronger, and had five minute spells where they had more possession and good chances. To make it 3-0 Nathan Murphy scored for us which was a cross but flew into the top corner. With a good spell of play Higham fought back with one goal that made it 3-1. Reuben then got us another goal that made it 4-1, as we were keeping the ball and creating good chances. Throughout the game our defence stayed strong. As it went out for a corner Dylan crossed it in and Nathan scored a tap in at the near post. We conceded one more as Higham made in 5-2. To seal the victory Nathan got through the defence and scored to seal his hat-trick. Finally, the game finished at 6-2 and then we shook their hand Harvey Atkins Harvey D Sylva James Aucott-Hermann George Davies Cormac James-Smith Nathan Murphy Kai Buckley Team Dylan Kane Sam Batchelor Reuben Simkins Josh Dicker Liam Boulstridge Harley Oliver Myles Hill Goal Scorers Nathan - 3 Reuben - 1 Dylan 1 Sam - 1 By Cormac James-Smith
