1 Region Memorandum CLMD No. 89, s September 11, 2017 REGIONAL TRAINING OF DIVISION PESS SUPERVISORS AND SRAA TOURNAMENT MANAGERS TO: All Schools Division Superintendents This Region 1. To strengthen the Sports Development Program of the region a Regional Training of Division PESS Supervisors and SRAA Tournament Managers shall be conducted on October 12-13, 2017 at Salaman Central Elementary School, Lebak, Sultan Kudarat. 2. The objectives of the 2-day activity are as follows: a) assess and evaluate the performance of the tournament managers; b) discuss update on the current rules and guidelines of the 2018 Palarong Pambansa, c) finalize ground rules to be used for the lower meets and 2018 SRAA; and d) showcase the best practices during the conduct of: a.) city/division meet, b.) athletes selection process, c.) and division sports program. 3. Participants are the Region/Division PESS Supervisors/Coordinators and SRAA Tournament Managers. Attached is Enclosure 1: List of Participants for reference. 4. Schools Divisions PESS Supervisors or Coordinators are advised to prepare a 10-minute PowerPoint presentation of best practices by highlighting the items of agenda d. The said presentation shall be discussed on Day 1 October 12, Kindly refer to Enclosure 2: Indicative Schedule of Activities for your guidance. 5. Participants are directed to be at the venue on the afternoon of October 11, Day 0 for the registration and accommodation. First meal to be served will be dinner of Day 0 and last meal shall be lunch of October 13, Food and venue shall be borne from the Regional Office Sports funds, while travelling and other incidental expenses of the participants shall be charged against local funds/mooe, subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations. 7.
