2 What can I expect from each camp? Character Development Outstanding Coaching and Superior Sports Training World Class Sports Training Facilities Build Relationships with Peers and Staff Safe and Secure Environment for your child Daily Skill Development and Drills Life Skills: The Olympic Club camp program places particular emphasis on Life Skills and character building. Everyday instructors will cover a variety of topics, such as; listening, following directions, responsibility, and creating a strong work ethic, drug/alcohol awareness, the importance of exercise, goal setting and more. ALL SPORTS CAMP (ages 6-14 yrs old) John Perez, Basketball Director Designed for children ages 6-14, each All Sport Camp session will be packed with a variety of sports and recreational activities. Campers will take part in basketball, swimming, volleyball, indoor soccer, indoor baseball, water polo, handball and squash. This is a great camp for participants to access the best that the Club offers. The Olympic Club s staff will instruct campers in sports in which they are the most knowledgeable. This will not only allow for quality instruction in every sport, but will also enable campers to interact with each staff member throughout the week. All equipment for this camp will be provided by the Club. The All Sports Camp is an all day camp. AQUATICS CAMP (ages 8-14yrs old) Paul Carter, Aquatics Director Girls and boys ages 8-14 will have a unique opportunity to experience instruction from our nation s top coaches and athletes. Swim Camp will cover all competitive strokes and dry land training for beginning, intermediate and advanced athlete. Water Polo camp combines dry land and water conditioning, basic and advanced polo skills and game strategies for all levels. Each week builds up to Swim Race Day and Polo Game Day, when campers will have the chance to show off their skills. Combining swimming and water polo camp will be complimentary and a great way to maximize the aquatic sport experience. SQUASH CAMP (ages 8-15yrs old) Jeff Young, Squash & Handball Director This camp will include introductory skills with techniques and tactics for squash. Racquets, gloves, balls and eye guards are provided. CITY CLUB CAMP LUNCH (Optional) Lunch includes a sandwich (roast beef, turkey, peanut butter & jelly on white, wheat or sourdough bread, drink (Gatorade or water) and snacks (plain chips, cookie, fresh whole fruit). All condiments (lettuce, tomato, cheese, pickles, mayonnaise, mustard) will be provided on the side. GOLF CAMP (8-16yrs old) Matthew Kilgariff, Director of Player Development The ultimate goal of The Olympic Club Junior Golf Program is to create an athlete first and turn them into a golfer second, all while growing a passion for the game of golf. We will be using a Long Term Athletic Development approach, having the campers perform age appropriate drills to maximize their athletic potential and skill level throughout the learning process. These juniors will walk away with an understanding of the basics of the golf swing: grip, posture, alignment and weight shift. We will cover all aspects of what a player goes through in a round of golf, putting, wedges, short irons, the long game as well as course management and pre-shot routines. The campers will also learn etiquette, rules and the history of golf at The Olympic Club. Note: All campers are required to bring their own clubs. Maximum 30 campers CITY CLUB CAMPS LAKESIDE CAMPS BASKETBALL CAMP (ages 6-14yrs old) John Perez, Basketball Director Master the fundamentals! Considered by many to be the finest basketball camp program in the Bay Area, our basketball camps are simply the place to come if you want to have fun and improve your game. Designed for children ages 6-14, each session is packed with fun, professional instruction and competition. The morning camps feature detailed instruction with younger campers practicing on lowered hoops with smaller balls. We ll turn the music up loud each afternoon for our fun filled competition and games camp. Each camp also places a daily emphasis on character and attitude development. Manners are important to us! HANDBALL CAMP (ages 8-15yrs old) Emmett Peixoto, Handball Pro Learn how to play handball from the #3 ranked handball player in the world! Coach Emmett Peixoto will teach you the fundamental swings, strategiers and skills necessary to either begin playing or play handball at an advanced level. Whether you play lacrosse, soccer, basketball, tennis, baseball, squash, golf or football. Handball will develop the principle skills required to excel at any sport (e.g., foot-speed, endurance, strength, balance, hand-eye coordination, etc ) Handball is quite simply the best cross-training sport available! VOLLEYBALL CAMP (ages 8-15yrs old) Tom Montross, Assistant Athletic Director & Mary O Brien, Head Coach at Lick-Wilmerding Attention volleyball players ages 8-15! Don t miss this chance to master fundamentals, develop proper mechanics and gain valuable game play experience. All sessions will be directed by a qualified professional and participants should be prepared for a great experience. Campers will be trained in the fundamentals of volleyball including setting, hitting, serving, position work match play and technique. TENNIS (8-15yrs old) Matt Holt, Tennis Director Learn/Improve the fundamentals of tennis and take your game to the next level. Camp is designed for players ages 8-15 with participants grouped according to age and ability level. Focus will be on the all court game groundstrokes, volleys, serves, return and matchplay. A final day tournament for all campers will be conducted. All sessions are limited to the first 24 players to register to insure a 1:6 pro-student ratio! Please Note: Participants are required to provide their own racquet. This camp is a 5-day camp, Monday-Friday. Maximum 24 campers Lakeside Cancellation Policy All cancellations received less than 2 weeks before your registered camp begins will be charged for the total number of campers registered. LAKESIDE CAMP LUNCH (Included) A Build Your Own Sandwich lunch (with a selection of meats, chips, whole fresh fruit and cookies) is included with the Golf and Tennis Camps. Golf and Tennis will provide a pizza lunch on Fridays.

5 CHILDREN RELEASE and WAIVER of LIABILITY and INDEMNITY AGREEMENT IN CONSIDERATION of being permitted to utilize the facilities, services and programs of The Olympic Club (or for my children to so participate) for any purpose, including, but not limited to observation or use of facilities or equipment, or participation in any on-site or off-site program affiliated with The Olympic Club, the undersigned, for himself or herself and such participating children and any personal representatives, heirs, and next of kin, hereby acknowledges, agrees and represents that he or she has, or immediately upon entering or participating will carefully consider such premises and facilities and the potential risks of injury inherent in the affiliated program and the hazards associated with, among other things, weather conditions, playing conditions, equipment and other participants. It is further warranted that such entry into The Olympic Club for observation or use of any facilities or equipment or participation in such affiliated program constitutes a voluntary assumption of all risks incurred in connection with the affiliated program by the undersigned and such children. 1. THE UNDERSIGNED ON HIS OR HER BEHALF AND BEHALF OF SUCH CHILDREN, HEREBY RELEASES, WAIVES, DISCHARGES AND COVENANTS NOT TO SUE The Olympic Club, its directors, officers, employees, and agents (hereinafter referred to as "releasees") from all liability to the undersigned or such children and all his personal representatives, assigns, heirs, and next of kin for any loss or damage, and any claim or demands therefor on account of injury to the person or property or resulting in death of the undersigned or such children whether caused bv the negligence of the releasees or otherwise while the undersigned or such children is in, upon, or about the premises or any facilities or equipment therein or participating in any program affiliated with The Olympic Club. 2. THE UNDERSIGNED HEREBY AGREES TO INDEMNIFY AND SAVE AND HOLD HARMLESS the releasees and each of them from any, loss, liability, damage or cost they may, incur due to the presence of the undersigned or such children in, upon or about The Olympic Club premises or in any way observing or using any facilities or equipment of The Olympic Club or participating in any program affiliated with The Olympic Club whether caused by the negligence of the releasees or otherwise. 3. 'I'HE UNDERSIGNED HEREBY ASSUMES FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR AND RISK OF BODILY INJURY, DEATH OR PROPERTY DAMAGE to the undersigned or such children due to negligence of releasees or otherwise while in, about or upon the premises of The Olympic Club and/or while using the premises or any facilities or equipment thereon or participating in any program affiliated with The Olympic Club. THE UNDERSIGNED further expressly agrees that the foregoing RELEASE WAIVER AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT is intended to be as broad and inclusive as is permitted by the law of the State of California and that if any portion thereof is held invalid, it is agreed that the balance shall, notwithstanding, continue in full legal force and effect. THE UNDERSIGNED HAS READ AND VOLUNTARILY SIGNS THE RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT, and further agrees that no oral representations, statements or inducement apart from the foregoing written agreement have been made. In consideration of the use of facilities or equipment of The Olympic Club by Minor, or participation in any on-site or off-site program affiliated with the Olympic Club, the undersigned hereby consents to the taking, publication and use of photographs or images of the Minor including digital signage, and grants to The Olympic Club a perpetual license to reproduce, distribute, display and/or create derivative works of photographs in any medium now known or hereafter created including but not limited to The Olympic Club monthly magazine, the Olympian, The Olympic Club website and any advertising, informational, or promotional materials that includes the Minor, related to any program or activity affiliated with The Olympic Club. 7 CHILDREN DROP OFF AND PICK UP WAIVER The undersigned hereby assumes full responsibility for both dropping-off and/or picking-up all children covered by this agreement at any Olympic Club venue, whether it be one of the two Club campuses, an off-site training venue/facility, a location designated for scheduled competition or any venue at which the child is partaking in any activity related to The Olympic Club. Given the multiple forms of transportation each guardian might select for his/her child/ren, the great number of minors participating in Olympic Club sponsored activities, and the variety of venues at which activities may take place, it is impossible for The Olympic Club to serve in loco parentis or assume any supervisory responsibility after the child has left the direct supervision of coaches or other Club personnel, and begins the transition from The Olympic Club to his/her next destination, whether that be done in the company of an adult or done independently. Thus, the undersigned hereby waives and releases The Olympic Club from any such responsibility in full.
