1 Welcome TO THE 2013 Cabela s CLUB Family Outdoor Day on Saturday, June 1, 2013 at Hunting Hills in Dilliner Pennsylvania! Get ready for an exciting day full of outdoor activities. Cabela s staff will be helping your family along the way as you work to sharpen your skills and increase your knowledge. Please read through this information packet as it provides important details you will need to know leading up to the event. 2 Event Overview / Schedule EVENT OVERVIEW Cabela s CLUB Family Outdoor Day is all about bringing families together in the outdoors. Whether it s sporting clays, archery or fishing, there is something for the entire family and all experience levels. Friendly and patient instructors will be available at every activity to teach proper techniques and strategies in a fun and laid-back environment. Saturday, June 1, 2013 schedule of events 8am 8:45am 9am 12pm Registration Opens Registration Sign in and pick up your registration packet Coffee, juice & pastries available Welcome & Safety Instruction Morning Session Each activity will include instruction and last minutes. You will rotate through the three activities in your group. Take a break as needed for beverage, snacks or lunch. 12pm - 1:30pm Break for lunch at your leisure Options: - Hamburgers & hot dogs available for purchase - Bring your own lunch 12:30pm 1pm - 4pm 4pm - 6pm 6pm Bird Dog Demonstration Afternoon Session Each activity will include instruction and last minutes. 6 CABELA S CLUB FAMILY OUTDOOR DAY EVENT LIABILITY WAIVER AND RELEASE AGREEMENT (includes PHOTO & VIDEO RELEASE) Name: Date of Birth: Address: Emergency Contact Person: City State Zip Phone: Phone: Hunting Hills Shooting Preserve, its owners, officers, employees, agents, representatives, parent, and affiliates (hereinafter, Hunting Hills ) has agreed to permit me to use the property at the resort, including: the lodge, sporting clays course, BB gun range,.22 rifle range, archery range, crossbow range, and fishing ponds in association with my participation in the Cabela s CLUB Family Outdoor Event at Hunting Hills (the Event ), which is sponsored by World s Foremost Bank and Cabela s Inc. (World s Foremost Bank and Cabela s Inc. shall hereinafter collectively be referred to as Cabela s ). The Event takes place on Saturday, June 1, 2013 (rain date Sunday, June 2, 2013) and consists of the following activities (not limited to): sporting clays shooting,.22 rifle target shooting, BB gun target shooting, crossbow target shooting, archery, pond fishing and fly fishing. In consideration for permission to participate in these activities and use the facilities; I, for myself, and on behalf of my spouse, children, parents, guardians, heirs and next of kin, and any legal representatives, executors, administrators, successors and assigns, hereby agree: (1) that participation in the Event involves the risk of serious injury or death, and/or property damage. Some of the risks that I may encounter are defective or faulty equipment, weapons, or ammunition; dangers arising from the conditions of the premises; adverse weather; negligence of other participants; and negligence of Hunting Hills and/or Cabela s and their respective employees, agents or representatives. (2) that I accept all risks arising out of or relating to my participation in the Event, whether listed in paragraph (1) above or not. (3) that I will read and abide by the Hunting Hills rules and regulations for the Event, as well as all other Hunting Hills rules and regulations as they may be posted or presented by Hunting Hills personnel. And, that if I do not follow these rules and regulations, my permission to participate will be revoked, and any fees or charges that I paid will not be refunded. (4) that I am in compliance with all federal and state laws and regulations pertaining to the use and possession of firearms, and that I will inform Hunting Hills immediately if I learn of any reason why I cannot legally use or possess firearms. (5) to RELEASE, WAIVE, DISCHARGE AND COVENANT NOT TO SUE Hunting Hills and Cabela s and their respective owners, officers, employees, agents, representatives (including Retail Sports Marketing, Inc.), event partners, parents and affiliates (hereinafter referred to as Releasees ) from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions and causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any loss, damage, injury, including death, that may be sustained by me, or to any property belonging to me, whether caused by the negligence of Releasees or otherwise, while participating in the Event, or while in, on, or upon the premises where the Event is being conducted. I further agree that I will INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS Releasees for any loss, liability, damage or costs, including court costs and attorneys fees that Releasees may incur due to my participation in the Event, whether caused by the negligence of Releasees or otherwise. (6) that all disputes arising under this Agreement or from my participation in the Event shall be litigated exclusively in the courts of Greene County, Pennsylvania. (7) that I consent to receive medical treatment which may be deemed advisable in the event of injury, accident, and/or illness during the Event. (8) I grant Hunting Hills and Cabela s permission to use photographic and/or video images of me for the purpose of marketing, publicizing and promoting the resort and/or Cabela s. I waive any right to be compensated for the use of my image and release Hunting Hills and Cabela s from liability for any claims, where such claims arise out of or relate to Hunting Hills and/or Cabela s use of my image and/or video.
