Hopefully we will have a nice meeting with a lot dialogues in order to improve the sport in the future. All the participants made a presentation. The DMU suggested Stefan Kristjansson as chairman of the meeting. Stefan Kristjansson was elected. Agenda of the Meeting: 1. 2 Miscellaneous: SML: No Comments SVEMO: SPW: Unfortunately we have to say that we are down 10 licensed riders in total compared with the same period ( ) last year, the biggest drop is on the senior licenses (age 17-55). Meeting wise we are pretty stable in numbers. Sweden have this year started to work a little bit more with the 250cc which we see have big potential, the biggest thing is to get the ball rolling we have two engines now that we lend to riders who are keen to try and this has generated good response and we hope this will continue. Ice: The Ice Racing in Sweden is pretty stable, unfortunately not a lot of teams taking part in the league (4) but we have a number of good young (25 years or less) riders ready to challenge the more experienced ones. The clubs are working good together and we hope that 2016 will be a good Ice Racing season in Sweden NMF: No Comments DMU: 2015 has been a test year for the 250 cc class in Denmark and for the first time the DMU has participated in the FIM World Youth 250cc Cup. 7 open test events have been organized and nearly 50 riders, primarily young in the age of 14-17, has tested the bike. Traditionally the 85 cc bike has been very successful, but the DMU thinks, that the 250 cc bike will be more successful in the riders evolution from the 85 cc to the 500 cc bike. The influx, specially, among the 50cc and 85 cc is decreasing, - A threat for the sport in a long term perspective. In 2015 the DMU Speedway Commission in cooperation with the clubs have organized Visiting a Speedway Club ( ) and at the Grand Prix Horsens, a 3 days PR event was organized. Hopefully we will see some influence from these activities. 2. Minutes from the Nordic Meeting in Stockholm in 2014 The minutes was approved without any remarks. 3. Going through and harmonizing the Nordic Rules No changes has been received. 4. Proposals from the Countries: a) DMU Status for the 250 cc for each FMN and a Nordic Championship in 250 cc from 2016? Remarks: NMF: It s a good idea 2 / 11

3 SML: Tony Olsson, SVEMO: Personally I think a Nordic Championship for the 250cc class is too early in DMU: With race format with Pairs, it s possible to organize a Nordic Championship. Conclusion: We will try to organize an Nordic Championship in Hanne Thomsen, DMU is Primus Motor. b) SVEMO As we in the past few years have not been able to organize the Nordic Speedway 85cc Championship for various reasons, Svemo propose to put this meeting on hold for the future. The YGT and European Championships as well as the national league and open meetings take up most of the weekends during the season and the interest for this meeting has over the years unfortunately cooled down. Conclusion: The Nordic Championship, 85 cc will not be organized in DMU will invite the Nordic Countries to a 85 cc Challenge or Cup. A pair event is a possibility. Properly an event combined 85/250 championship or Cup is a possibility? NMF and DMU will invite, and SVEMO/SML will be welcome with riders. In 2016 the event will be organized in Denmark. Hanne Thomsen, DMU is Primus Motor DMU will support and participate in the Nordic Motorsport Games in 2016 in Norway. We will be awaiting the final calendars from FIM and FIME, before a final accept/decision. An Air-fence is compulsory for the event. 5. FIM and FIM Europe Championships in the Nordic Countries The current schedule is: EC Junior Speedway Qual. Nordic Champ, 85 cc Nordic Indi. Grass Track/ Long Track Indi. Iceracing, Nordic Champ SML 1 2 SML 3 SML 2017 SVEMO SVEMO NMF SVEMO 2018 NMF SML SML 2019 DMU 1 If SML hasn t no Air-fence, we suggest that SVEMO organize the event in The Nordic Championship 85 cc is cancelled in Maybe Skovbybanen in Denmark is a possibility, if SML can t organize it? 3 / 11

4 6. FIM and FIM Europe seminars in the Nordic Countries Nothing to report. We will discuss it in Miscellaneous 1)Rasmus Jensen: Question SML: - Riding on a SVEMO license in Dackarna and Vargarna in Sweden and DMU license in SGP qualifier Abensberg. How is it possible? Answer, Tony Olsson SVEMO: I have confirmation from Rasmus Jensen that he will revert to ride on a DMU license in Rasmus rode with a Swedish license in 2015, he took part in the DMU national qualification round and qualified and therefore he represented DMU in the FIM / FIM Europe Championships. But it was Svemo who issued Rasmus FIM/FIME licenses to ride in the Championships. Conclusion: DMU has asked our CCP official, Svend Jacobsen to bring the question up in the CCP bureau. 2)250cc open meetings/series Sweden Question SML: For the first time in Finland we have kids dropping out from 85cc "too soon" and taking up 250cc. They need rides, a few Finns riding by themselves is not the best option. 250cc also new in Sweden and Denmark, what are the plans? Answer, Tony Olsson SVEMO: - Sweden are not in a position to start any 250cc series in 2016, as mentioned in the status report we have this year started to work a little bit more with the 250cc which we see have big potential, but it will take some time before we can run any kind of series. Conclusion: The Nordic Championship, 85 cc will not be organized in DMU will invite the Nordic Countries to a 85 cc Challenge or Cup. A pair event is a possibility. Answer Tony Olsson, SVEMO: This is no decision point for the NMC, it can be discussed, but Svemo decide of their own league rules. 4)Future of Swedish 1st division: Question SML: - What will happen with foreign teams and riders? Answer Tony Olsson, SVEMO: -The Swedish division 1 will be discussed with all the clubs on the 14-15November, depending on teams, structure of the league we might invite a team from SML and/or NMF to take part. But again this is a Svemo decision not NMC. 4 / 11

5 5) Swedish/Norwegian/Danish riders in Finland? Remark SML: - Welcome, maybe a team in the league, lets open talks?? Answer Tony Olsson, SVEMO: - If Swedish riders want to take part in meetings in Finland, we don t stop them, but I can say that because SML have no ruling regarding air-fences we are not totally happy about it. At the moment I cannot see Sweden taking part with a team in the Finnish league, when we have 3-4 different league systems in our own country. Conclusion: Due to SMLs No Show this issue wasn t discussed. Stefan Kristjansson thanked everybody for a nice meeting and wished the group a nice and save journey home.
