2 3. EVENT SM O.K. Auto-rallt driven in May 18th-19th 2018 is organised by Kouvolan Seudun Autourheilijat ry. Auto-ralli is found on the roads outside the reconnaissance schedule before the competitor s start time in the area of Iitti or Kouvola the competitor is refused the right to start. This concerns roads of Finnish roadmap, marked in yellow, grey and black or unmarked roads used for the rally Tires, classes 1-16 A competitor must deliver the organizer a list of FIA barcodes of the tires that will be used in the competition with a tire form at the latest in pre-rally scrutineering. The maximum number of tires that can be used in the rally is ten. The acquisition, marking and checking of the tires should happen according to Finnish SM Rally Regulations. 5. ENTRIES Anybody wishing to take part in SM O.K. Auto-Ralli must submit the entry through KITI-service, or ask the secretary of the event anne.ristola@okautoralli.fi for instructions to submit entry using alternative means. ASN licence holders from other coutries will submit their etries via entry form which can be found in ww.okautoralli.fi. The entry form should be ed to the secretary of the event, anne.ristola@okautoralli.fi The maximum number of entries is fixed at 180 crews. Should the number of entries exceed this number, drivers who have entered the Finnish Rally Championship or Suomi Cup will be given priority. 7. ENTRY FEES Entry fees are as follows. 5 8. SERVICE There is one service park in the event located at Tervasharjunkatu 1, Kuusankoski. Service is allowed only in the service park. The lenght of the service is 2 x 33 minutes. There will be two services. The organiser will reserve each crew 6 x 8 metres service space or a service space as defined in the Finnish Rally Championship regulations. Should a joint service space be requested, a written request (with the dimensions of the area) must reach the organiser by May 7th 2018 by 21:00 at the following contact: anne.ristola@okautoralli.fi. After that date the organiser will charge 150 for every change concerning the service park layout. Organiser reserves the right to reject requests. Service vehicles must be equipped with fire extinguisher appropriate for extinguishing flammable fluids and with an oil spill kit ready for use at any time. A tarpaulin or equivalent being at least the size of the vehicles, must be used in the service park during service. Penalty fees for infringements in the service park area are as follows: 1 st infringement nd infringement rd infringement exclusion from the event by the decision of the Clerk of the Course 9. REFUELLING Refuelling is only allowed at petrol stations marked in the road book or otherwise shown by the organiser, as well as at marked refuel zones according to the Finnish Rally Championship regulations. 10. RECONNAISSANCE Reconnaissance for classes 1-16 will take place on Friday May 18th 2018 from to Competitors in classes 1-16 may collect their reconnaissance material from the Rally Office at Sokos Hotel Vaakuna, Hovioikeudenkatu 2 Kouvola either on Thursday May 17th 2018 between and or on Friday May 18th 2018 starting at Both drivers have to present their licences and other documents personally. At registration, each competitor must give the organiser details of the car used for reconnaissance, contact details of his/her mobile phone and contact details for their service. Identification stickers (2 pieces) for the reconnaissance must be affixed on the reconnaissance vehicle as follows: one to top center of the windscreen and the other to the rear side window on the right-hand side. They must be visible throughout the whole duration of the reconnaissance. On special stages the speed limit is 80 km/h unless a lower limit is indicated by traffic signs or signs placed along the route by the organiser. The competitors must drive in a manner that does not endanger or inconvenience other traffic or people living near the stages. Under no circumstances may crews drive in the opposite direction of the rally in a special stage. Organiser will control the traffic during the reconnaissance paying attention to the manner of driving as well as to the speeds used. Police will also control the reconnaissance and will penalise competitors for infringements according to the Finnish Traffic Law. The organiser will control speeding with GPS devices, witch will give and automatic report. The GPS device can be collected from the Rally Office either on Thursday May 17th 2018 between and or on Friday May 18th 2018 starting at or on Saturday an hour before every crews start time. Competitor must reserve an USB power supply for the GPS device and must keep the device on during the whole reconnaissance. Competitor must return the GPS device to the Rally Office after reconnaissance. There will be RC-stations on the course where the competitor is obligated to stop. The Clerk of the Course can also notify possible infrigiments via these stations. For a speeding infringement during reconnaissance measured either by the organiser or by the police or switching of the GPS device the Clerk of the Course may impose a penalty as follows: 1 st infringement: reprimand 2 nd infringement: 90 fine 3 rd infringement: 200 fine 4 th infringement: refusal to start The organiser must inform the competitor of the infringements immediatly either by telephone or via RC-station. The fine must be paid to the Rally Office at the latest 30 minutes before star time or the start is refused. If the speeding offence is more than 30 km/h, the Clerk of the Course may exclude the crew.

6 Competitors are, under pain of refusal to start, obliged to stop if Rally Officials with official plates request them to do so. Reconnaissance is allowed only two times per special stage. The organiser will motitor this via GPS devises and on the course. Speeding infringements during the rally For a speeding infringement on a road section or in the Service Park measured either by the organiser or by the police, the Clerk of the Course may impose a penalty as follows: 1 st infringement: written reprimand and 90 fine. If the speeding offence is more than 30 km/h, the Clerk of the Course may exclude the crew. 2 nd infringement: as defined by the Clerk of the Course, but may be a maximum 500 fine or exclusion. The fine must be paid to the Rally Office immediadly after the rally or at the latest before the publication of the Provisional classifications. If failing to do so the Clerk of the Course may exclude the crew. Competitors from classes can not partisipate in reconnaissance. If a competitor from classes is met on a special stage before theit start time their start is refused. The Organiser withelds the right to search at any time during the rally the car and all personal items (including telephones) and bags of a competitor from classes If any notes for the route are discovered the competitor will be excluded from the race. 11. ADVERTISING Windscreen stickers in championship classes: as per rules of the Rally SM series. START The rally will start at the parking lot of shopping centre Veturi Saturday May 19th 2018 at in one minute intervals. The start time of every crew will be published on the Official Notice Board. Every crew should be at the starting area 20 minutes before their start time at the latest. GPS device and the transponder for the results can be collected from the Rally Office at the latest one hour before every crews own start time. GPS device and the tranponder must be retuned at finish TC. Time card will be given to competitors at start TC. 13. FINISH The finish of the rally is located at Sokos Hotel Vaakuna starting Saturday May 19th 2018 at There will not be a Parc Fermé area at the finish. Protest against any cars must be made before said car arrives at the finish. Telephone number can be found in the road book. 14. COMPETITOR MATERIAL Competitors in classes 1-16 are given one road book, which gives detailed description of the route to be followed, and two route maps, either on Thursday May 17th 2018 between at the same time as administrative checks or during administrative checks in the Rally Office at Sokos Hotel Kouvolan Vaakuna on Friday May 18th 2018 starting at Competitors in classes are given one road book, which gives detailed description of the route to be followed, and two route maps at pre-rally scrutineering, Kuljetus Tuuri Oy, Kullasvaarantie 2, Kouvola, REGROUPING HALTS There will be two (2) regrouping halts during the rally at service park Veturi, Tervasharjunkatu 1, Kuusankoski. Service is forbidden during these halts. The lenght of these halts will be maximum 18 minutes and minimum 4 minutes. There will be two (2) service halts during the rally. PRE-RALLY SCRUTINEERING Pre-rally scrutineering, classes 1-16 Pre-rally scrutineering will start Friday May 18th 2018 from 16:00 to 23:00 at OK Kuljetus Tuuri Oy, Kullasvaarantie 2, Kouvola, Pre-rally scrutineering will end 10 minutes after the time given for the last competition number in classes A competitor must book a time for scrutineering at between May 10th 2018 at 21:00 and May 16th 2018 at 04:00. If a competitor wishes to chance their scheduled time after the booking system is closed the organizer will take a fee of 50. The same fee will be collected for the cars that are not booked for a time and therefore must be booked by the organizer or cars that miss their scheduled time. Classes 1-16 and Rally scrutineering will continue Saturday May 19th 2018 at 07:30 at OK Kuljetus Tuuri Oy, Kullasvaarantie 2, Kouvola, Rally scrutineering will end 10 minutes after the time given for the last competition number in classes A competitor must book a time for scrutineering at between May 10th 2018 at 21:00 and May 16th 2018 at 04:00. If a competitor wishes to chance their scheduled time after the booking system is closed the organizer will take a fee of 50. The same fee will be collected for the cars that are not booked for a time and therefore must be booked by the organizer or cars that miss their scheduled time. Rally scrutineering for classes will only take place on Saturday May 19th Competitor material for these classes will be given at scrutineering. Details on the Competitors Information Kit Sealing Sealing of parts will take place during pre-rally scrutineering on Friday May 18th Details on the Competitors Information Kit End of Rally Scrutineering OK Auto Oy, Kaitilankatu 6, Kouvola, RESULTS Provisional classifications per competition class will be published on the official notice board as per schedule given in the Competitors Information kit. Official classifications will be available at KITI-system and PRIZES AND PRIZE-GIVING CEREMONY The prizes will be memorabilia and utility articles. The number of awarded competitors will be published on the Official Notice Board. Prizes will be given to both drivers in the finish area at Original Sokos hotel Kouvolan Vaakuna based on provisional classifications. If there is a chance on crews avarded a prize after official results the competitor is required to the return prizes given to them. All crews receiving prizes must attend the ceremony.
