Rubric The Following rubric is used as a tool to help analyze an incident. This rubric will be followed when possible, however it should be noted that rf officials may need to stray away from the rubric at times and that the rubric is not the end all be all of how decisions are made. Level Description Penalty 0 Non-Issue None Questionable Decisions were Made and the incident was relatively minor. Incident is relatively minor and is isolated to the specific event, and a penalized rider actually loses something in the DQ. Incident was avoidable, and seemed possible that it was pre-meditated. Also used when a DQ makes no sense (i.e. they didn t score points anyway). The rider is clearly ruining the experience for other players and doesn t deserve to be out there. They can race Open class to show proof of change. The rider is clearly not getting the message and needs a bigger wake up call, or the incident was quite ridiculous. Endless source of drama and problems, ruining the experience at most events they attend. Prove themselves in the open class for a season A rider clearly isn t getting it, or did something horrible. No reason to let them race for a few events. Rider brings nothing good to the events, and is nothing but problems, therefore they are not wanted around. When it seems a rider will not change, and gets joy out of their rule breaking actions, they will be kicked for the year. A person sends rf s temper through the roof and we have just had enough of you, you are gone. Warning Disqualification Point Penalty 1 Race Suspension Multi-Event Suspension Series Suspension Multi-Event Ban Series Ban Season Ban Perma-Ban

Golden Rules This section describes universal rules to the entire rf system. These are rules that may supersede other rules. General Rules and Guidelines Appending rf reserves the right to append the rulebook at any time. This may be done in special case circumstances. rf may also change a previous ruling if they see fit to do so. Agreement By signing up for a rf sanctioned event you have agreed to abide by the rf policies outlined in this rulebook. rf participants are held responsible for knowing and understanding all rules contained in this document. It should also be noted that even if something is not outlined in this document, that doesn t not mean we can not penalize you for it. We like to also assume common sense in our participants. Respectful Conduct rf participants must conduct themselves in a professional manor in all publically displayed outlets. This includes the in-game chat, streaming chat, forums, youtube, twitter, and s. Personal attacks on rf staff members will not be tolerated and offenders will be subject to banning. Age Requirement You must be at least 13 years old to participate in rf sanctioned events. rf Accounts It is important that you only have 1 account on rf, even if you own multiple UIDs. If you are caught you will be subject to banning. In addition any sketchy UIDs will be presented to JLV and may be deactivated if we find you to be sharing a key with multiple people. It is very important that you only have 1 identity in rf to make things fair, and we will catch you if you do not follow that.

Name and Number Naming Convention Sign Ups and User Registration You are required to sign up using your real first and last name. This is also how you need to set up your name in game. Your in game name needs to match that of your rf account name in the following format Example: First Last Team Name Charles Sweeney racefactorygaming.com If your name does not follow this format you are risking being left out of the event, so make sure you have your name correct prior to the start of events. It is more important than you think. False Identity If rf suspects you of racing under an identity other than your own, you need to be prepared to prove to us that you are who you say you are. We will outline how to do this for you if the occasion arises. If you can not prove to us that you are the same person your sign up says you are, then you will be banned from rf until you do so. Pretending to be someone else is a serious offense and will subject you to a permanent ban from rf if we find you were trying to trick us. Numbering System Series Each series will have it s own numbering system. National caliber events will user National Numbers, which can be viewed on the rf website. The sign ups will not allow you to use a number you are not authorized for. When National numbers are not used, riders preferred number will be used instead. National Numbers National numbers are obtained by competing in Supercross and Outdoor Nationals. Riders and ranked based off their points in these series in a Grand National Championship and numbers are assigned based off this. Champions may choose a 1 digit career number, and are required to run the #1 plate while defending their championship. The top 10 riders may choose a 2 digit career number. Riders are then assigned from the remaining numbers. Riders outside of these criteria may run a 3 digit number of their choice, which is determined from sign ups. You must

score a minimum of 25 national points to keep your career number the following year. In Game Numbers Failure to run an approved number will void your results. Your number must match the approved number shown in the entry list. If you find a problem with the number you are shown to have in the entry list for an event, please feel free to us. Am Numbers Am Numbers are currently not monitored, and are based of riders preferred numbers from the website. Licenses Outlining license descriptions, which licenses race which classes, and requirements for advancement. License Types Eligibility Pro License A Pro license is the top level in rf competition. To have a Pro license means you have a combination of speed, control, and maturity both at and away from rf sanctioned events. A License An A license means that you are just below a Pro license, and just need a few more qualities to be considered a Pro. B License A B license is a rider who is not considered a beginner anymore and has an intermediate speed level. The rider needs more experience and possibly more speed before moving on to the A license level C License This is where everyone starts out in rf competition. C license is the slowest license you can get, and is where a rider gets their feet wet in the organized MX Simulator racing environment Pro License 450 Supercross 250 Supercross 450 Outdoor Nationals

250 Outdoor Nationals Pro/AM Class Open Class A License 450 Supercross (1 Coast Only) 250 Supercross 250 Outdoor Nationals Pro/AM Class A Class Open Class B License B Supercross B Outdoor Nationals B Class Open Class C License C Supercross C Outdoor Nationals C Class Open Class Advancement Should be noted that these guidelines for advancement can be overruled if we see fit, and advancement can be made at any time we see fit. The best way to inquire about advancement or demotion is to us. In addition to these minimum requirements, your maturity level and level of control while riding factors in as well. If you are advanced mid series you will take half the points you ve earned with you to the next class. From C License Minimum of 3 Races Minimum of 2 top 5 finishes Minimum of 1 top 3 finish Top 5 riders in C Supercross or C Nationals will be promoted Top 5 riders at Loretta Lynns in 250 C and 450 C will be promoted From B License Minimum of 5 Races Minimum of 3 top 5 finishes Minimum of 1 top 3 finishes Top 5 riders in B Supercross or B Nationals will be promoted

Top 5 riders at Loretta Lynns in 250 B and 450 B will be promoted From A License Minimum of 8 races Minimum of 3 top 5 finishes Minimum of 1 top 3 finishes SX and MX Champions will be promoted Sign Ups This section will outline a basic guideline for signing up for events. Signing Up Sign Up Form Only sign ups taken from the official sign ups page on rf s website will be accepted. Double check the entry list after signing up to make sure that there was not an error when processing your sign up. Deadlines All sign ups must be in before the deadline. Sign ups will not be taken after the deadline. Sign ups typically close about an hour before an event starts, so sign up early! Accurate Information Your sign up must be genuine, and you must be able to prove you are the same person that you have signed up as. Mistakes The participant is fully responsible for any typos made during the sign up process. Sign Up Issues Any issues with sign ups need to be ed to adam@racefactorygaming.com or Michael@racefactorygaming.com Do not expect to see an abundance of help from us minutes before sign ups close, earlier is better

Qualifying This section outlines procedures and policies for qualifying Criteria The criteria for qualifying for an event will be specific to that event. For this information you will need to refer to the sign up page, and review the guidelines to qualify for that event. For example some events have live qualifying in sessions just before the event, and other times qualifying is a week long affair. Servers Official Servers Only results from the servers indicated by the series format information on the website will count towards qualifying. Be sure to check this information on the specific event page for the series you are racing. Incidents During Qualifying When qualifying takes place during the week in public servers, you need to talk to the administer of that server to take care of said incidents. (Ban Court). However if it is a re-occurring problem, you may contact rf via and we may review the incident and rule on it if needed. If qualifying takes place live, we will take care of the incidents in the same manor as the races. Racing Procedure This section outlines procedures for the racing program Start of the Event Late Arrivals Late arrivals will not be taken. If you are not present at the time we grab UID s then you will not be in the racing program even if there are open gates. It is too much work to get people in if they are not in the initial attendance. Our advice is for you to show up at least 10 minutes before the UID grab is scheduled, then simply do not disconnect from the server until the conclusion of the event. If you follow that you shouldn t have any problems. Naming Convention If your name does not exactly match the naming convention displayed to you upon sign ups, you will not be included in the night racing program.

You really need to get this correct, as it is the quickest way for us to identify you, and creates a nice uniform standard for everyone to follow and use effectively. Number If your number does not exactly match the number on your sign up, you will not be included in the night racing program. rf Availability Be aware that we may not be readily available in chat during events, so you need to be prepared ahead of time for the event schedule. The best time to reach rf is during the race line ups or intermissions. Incidents Occuring During an Event During a Heat or LCQ If an incident happens during a heat or lcq that causes a rider to miss out on qualifying, we may review the demo and make an on the spot decision for the incident. However, we will only do this if we deem it absolutely necessary as it will cause major delays in the racing program. During a Moto or Main Event If an incident happens during a Moto or Main Event, where action can be postponed until after the conclusion of the event, then you need to file an official protest on the rf website. The protest can be filed by going to your user control panel, clicking on the user apps tab, and clicking protest. Red Flag rf will only throw a red flag in necessary situations. A red flag must be thrown during the first lap of a race, and will be broadcasted in the chat. If Red Flag is broadcasted the race is void and will be restarted so you can stop racing and relax for a bit while we fix the issue. Pre-Race Problems You need to make us aware of any problems with the races well before the race is being ran. Race lineups will be posted, and that is the time to let us know if your name does not appear and it should. In most cases it is a case of not signing up, or missing the UID grab however. In Game Chat Respectful Conduct You must conduct yourself in a respectful manor in the chat. Personally attacking other riders in the chat is not permitted and may get you kicked

from an event or even suspended depending on the severity of the incident, and how annoyed you make the host at the time. Appropriate Language Swearing and other vulgarities will earn you a ban from the server and event. Muted Chat Chat will either be muted, or racers will be set to ignore settings. If the chat is muted and you disconnect and reconnect to chat, you may be kicked or banned from an event or series. This is highly annoying and a slap in the face to us, who obviously want you muted. Getting rf s Attention In-Game The best time to get the rf staffs attention in chat is when race lineups are first posted. Right before a race is typically a bad time to get our attention. Remember most things can wait and be ed after the event is over, as the events can get somewhat hectic for the rf officials. Things out of our Control Power Outages Unfortunately we can not control the power input to your computer. Therefore power outages or computer freezing are not grounds for a red flag in most cases. Internet Lag While we will not typically ban people for lag unless it is extremely bad, we may ban you for a laggy connection if we deem it necessary. Server lag is another thing we can not control, and the event may be cancelled or postponed if the server is not manageable. Bathroom Breaks, and Graphic Resets If you miss a crucial part of the event because you left your computer, or restarted your game to reset graphics, there is nothing we can do for you. Do these things are your own risk, we will not wait for you. Racing Rules This section describes the rules that govern an event.

Aggressive Riding Cheating For Position It is legal to race hard for position, however, when rf feels that a rider is no longer riding forward or trying to make passes, there may start to be a problem. Block passes, and even take outs to some degree may not land you a penalty, but if rf feels you are riding overly aggressive you may be penalized. The best way to not receive this penalty is to leave plenty of room, otherwise you are at risk for a penalty. It should also be noted that repeat offenders of this penalty will receive harsher penalties. Being Lapped If a rider being lapped is riding aggressively with a rider lapping them, they will be penalized. Riders being lapped have no business racing hard with riders lapping them. Lapping Riders Just because you are lapping a rider doesn t mean you have the right to take them out. Riding too aggressively while lapping riders can also earn you a penalty. Cutting the Track Any form of cutting the track will not be tolerated. This includes cutting bales, yellow markers, or not following the on track textures. If rf feels you are cutting the track in an obvious manor, then you will be penalized in some fashion. The severity of the punishment depends on the advantages of the cut. Starts Riders may not turn their bikes or back up to get a running start during the start of a race. Riders must start the race from the position they are place in after the gate loads. Riders who cheat on the start will be suspended for 1 round at minimum, as it isn t something that can happen by accident. Other Forms of Cheating So as to not give away other possible ideas for people to cheat, rf will not list them in this document, however, it will be obvious if you are trying to cheat, and you will be penalized for cheating in any way shape or form, at rf s discretion.

Blue Flag Riders being issued the blue flag must obey it. When the rider lapping gets close enough, the rider being lapped needs to move out of the race line in the safest way possible. If a rider being lapped holds up a rider lapping them for a significant amount of time, they will be penalized. Re-Joining the Race After a Crash After a crash, the downed rider needs to be aware of any riders that may be riding up to their position. The downed rider needs to orient their bike into the direction of the track before they begin riding again. Downed riders that get up and cross in front of other riders may be penalized. If the track map is checked, and all is clear, then the rider may get up any way they like. From Off Track When re entering the race track, riders need to be aware of incoming riders to that section. Pulling onto the race track in front of someone, causing a crash, will result in a penalty. Wait until the pack of riders passes, then rejoin behind them. Also be aware, that some of those riders may be lapping you, even though you didn t get the blue flag due to being off track. It is your responsibility to re join the race track in a safe manor. In Game Penalties Lawyer Wins In game penalties count for official results. Take the time to examine the timing gates, and see where cuts may occur. A participant is responsible to know where the timing gates are, and know about any potential cut lines before the racing beings. Extreme Situations While rare, sometimes there are situations where in game penalties may be discounted, but that is up to the rf officials to decide. Usually timing gate issues are worked out before tracks are released. Warm Up Laps Due to time restraints, warm up laps are not always an option, therefore you need to be quick to notice any problems, and also verify that your name is posted in the race lineups. If your name is printed there, you will be in the races. Be sure to also notice at the start of each race, look for the word Red Flag, as that will mean there is a problem and that the race will be restarted.

Race Conclusion Upon the conclusion of a race, do not ride the track. If you race with someone or cause someone who has not yet finished to crash or affect their results, you will receive, at minimum, a 1 race suspension, as this is something that is easily avoidable. Also if you punt someone after the race who tumbles onto another part of the track and ruins someone s race, you will be to blame as well. Easiest way to avoid this is to just hit the brakes and park after the finish line, and you will never get this penalty. Sitting on the Side of the Track Sitting on the side of the track will not be tolerated. If you are done racing, you need to quit the server. It is a hazard to the other riders. The only people who are allowed to do this are rf officials, as they may have some business that keeps them from disconnecting from the server. However, rf officials will be held responsible if anything happens as a cause of them sitting on the side of the track. Prizing This section outlines the guidelines and restrictions for prizing. Participant Responsibilities Your rf needs to be accurate, as that is where I will contact you for any prizes you have won. If I do not you promptly enough, feel free to me about it. Restrictions Prizes may change last minute due to availability and sizing. Prize winners may also be responsible for shipping charges, depending on the situation. Most likely winners from outside of the US will be charged for shipping when applicable or a deal may be made. Guarantee Prizes are not guaranteed and prizes may change or be dropped all together at any time. Protests This section outlines the guidelines for protesting and appealing penalties.

Protest System Protest Form The protest form is located in your user control panel under user apps. Click protest and a form pops up. This form needs to be filled out completely and accurately. Also we may refuse to review your protest without a link to the demo, as it is possible that we did not save that particular demo (especially from qualifying applications). After Filing your Protest rf will review your protest and will post results up in the news section of the website when we can. We can t always get the results of a protest up in a timely manor due to our busy schedules. Also please note that if you do not like the outcome of a protest, a respectful can be sent to us to review if further review is needed. We will listen to reasonable claims, and we can overturn decisions if needed, however if we receive hate mail, we may increase your penalty, so keep it respectful. rf Discretion The rf staff does their best to view the incidents without bias, but obviously we may not be 100% perfect every time. Regardless, rf s decision if final, and you agree to abide by our rulings by signing up. It is rf s opinion of the incident that matters when all is said and done. Teams This section will outline the guidelines for teams, as far as rf sees them. Obviously you can do whatever you want with your teams outside of the rf world, however we will only feature and count teams that follow our restrictions. General Team Guidelines Size Only 6 members are allowed on a team on rf. This is to keep things as fair as we can in the team championship, and also to limit the size so we can arrange for prizing. You may have more members on your team, but they will not be featured on rf s website. Sponsors Sponsors are allowed, however rf needs to have confirmation from them as a sponsor before we can allow them to be showcased on our website. This is mainly because we do not want to get into hot water with companies and burn bridges by using their name and logos without permission. As a general rule manufacturers names are not allowed in

team names. This process can be a bit of a hassle, so make sure that it is worth it for them to be in your team name, since you have to go through so much trouble. Sometimes making a creative team name, and simply putting their logos on your skins is an easier solution. Also if you send us on a wild goose chase and we find out you ve been lying to us the whole time, we will simply take away your team creating rights forever. We will find out if you are truly sponsored or not, as we have many contacts throughout the industry, and it isn t hard for us to find out if you have been given permission or not. Championship Format Team championships are ran for pro supercross and pro outdoor nationals. For supercross it consists of the top rider finishes and the top rider finishes at each round. These scores are added up to an overall ranking for the event, and points are awarded in the same manor as the event points are awarded. For outdoor nationals the format is the same except that rider finishes count per round. Open Door Policy Feel free to us any time with questions or concerns, and as long as it is a respectful nice , we will do our best to accommodate your questions and concerns best we can. Don t be discouraged if we don t respond right away, as we often times get really busy, and don t be afraid to send another reminder a week later if we haven t responded, as we may have lost your or simply forgot about it. If you are patient with us, we will be patient with you. HAVE FUN AT OUR EVENTS & GOOD LUCK
