Hazards may include fallen trees, washouts debris and slips. CAUTION Rock slip on Karapoti/Hukinga pass with care Track closed until further notice from Puketiro Road/Hydro Road junction to Hydro Saddle due to storm damage, significant surface erosion and slips. Extra care needed when using all ford crossings.

You will be required to collect all keys and permits by 12pm on the 22/12/17 and you will be able to hold onto your fobs until the 15 th please make sure you have all your permits for the Christmas break in by Wednesday 12 pm 20 th December. 4
5 Plantation Forestry Valley View Forest Road maintenance occurring along Valley View, Rallywoods and Puketiro roads. Take extra care within sign posted sections of roads. Track maintenance happening on Cooks Bridge maintenance, Dicks Yard Track Puketiro. Aerial spraying occurring weather dependant. Lyndsays road and Woolshed road areas will be affected. Road control will be in place to stop traffic while spray is occurring. Logging traffic along Valley View road between 4am and 5pm weekdays. Radio communication on these roads at all times. Hukinga Forest Puketiro Forest Road construction taking place on either side of Bulls Run Road at the 13K. Adhere to road control at all times. Hydro Road closed to all recreational users Forestry work commences on the 3 rd of January 2017 Track maintenance happening on Cooks Bridge maintenance, Dicks Yard Track Puketiro. Road maintenance Puketiro road, Rallywoods Rd, Main loop Rd. Harvesting Main Loop Road area. No access to this area while harvesting in progress. This operational area off limits to recreational use at all times..logging traffic along Puketiro, Rallywoods roads between 4am and 5pm weekdays. Radio communication on these roads at all times. Fire Danger There are to be no fires lit and no cigarette smoking within the exotic forest estate. Any fires need to be reported to the PF Olsen forest manager immediately after calling 111 Pakuratahi Forest Slips on roads require attention while driving. Maintain a safe distance from roadside slips as there may be overhangs creating risk of road failure. Aerial spraying occurring weather dependant. Kaitoke Hill Road will be affected. Road control will be in place to stop traffic while spray is occurring.
6 The speed limit in the Forest is 30kph Please ensure that you obey this limit. Not all vehicles are equipped with radios Drive to stop in half the clear distance ahead All vehicles must have headlights on in forest BEWARE OF MOUNTAIN BIKES AND PEDESTRIANS ADJACENT TO LOGGING ROADS All vehicles MUST give way to loaded logging trucks 6
