The Auburn Tigers are competing in their 13th NCAA Tournament in program history with all 13 appearances coming under current head coach Karen Hoppa. Auburn (14-5-1) won seven games in the Southeastern Conference this season, finishing tied for third in the final standings and earning the four-seed in the SEC Tournament. The 14 wins by the Tigers is currently tied for the second-most wins in a season by any Auburn team. The tie for third-place finish by Auburn is its best finish since 2008 when the Tigers finished tied for second. Auburn is at the AU Soccer Complex this season, tying for its best home record in program history. Auburn has hosted the NCAA First Round three times before 2015, most recently in Junior Casie Ramsier leads all Auburn goal scorers with 12 on the season. The 12 goals is a new career-high for the Texan and second-most in a season by an Auburn player; most since The Southeastern Louisiana women s soccer team will compete in its second Women s College Cup in three seasons when the Lady Lions travel to Auburn University for a 6 p.m. match at the Auburn Soccer Complex. Southeastern (13-4-4) is making its third trip to the Women s College Cup overall after losing first round matches in 2009 and 13. Southeastern received an automatic bid into the tournament after winning the Southland Conference Tournament Sunday, defeating Sam Houston State 3-1 on penalty kicks after the teams played through a 0-0 tie in regulation and two overtime periods. Senior forwards Gisenia Utreras and Kayla Vera and sophomore midfielder Ana Zadro connected for the Lady Lions in the PKs. Junior goalkeeper Hope Sabadash saved two of the penalty kicks, making a diving stop on the final attempt. Sabadash was named the tournament s MVP after making 21 saves in the three matches, including eight in the finals.

3 AUBURN TIGERS 13TH NCAA APPEARANCE RECORD 7-12 LAST NCAA APPEARANCE: 2014 SEC TITLES: 2 Auburn Part of NCAA Tournament Field For 13th Time; Hosting SE Louisiana In First Round With a strong regular-season schedule and a record overall, the 19th-ranked Auburn Tigers picked up an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament will mark the 13th appearance for the Tigers in program history. All 13 tournament appearances have come under current head coach Karen Hoppa dating back to This will be the second-straight year that Auburn has been one of the 65 teams in the prestigious NCAA Tournament. Last year, Auburn went to Ft. Myers, Fla., and beat Florida Gulf Coast, 1-0, advancing to its seventh NCAA Second Round. All-time, Auburn is 7-12 in the NCAA Tournament, advancing to the second round in each of its last three appearances (2011, 2012, 2014) will mark the fourth time Auburn has ever hosted the NCAA First or Second Rounds. The Tigers are 3-2 all-time in NCAA Tournament games played at the AU Soccer Complex. Casie Ramsier Headlines Four Tigers Named All-SEC; Ramsier Named SEC Co-Scholar Athlete of the Year Junior Casie Ramsier was named the SEC Scholar-Athlete of the Year last week along with three other Tiger soccer players, who were named All-SEC by the conference office. Joining Ramsier on the all-conference list are senior Kala Faulkner, freshman Taylor Troutman and redshirt freshman Sarah Le Beau. For the first time in her career, Ramsier was not only named to one of the high individual awards in the conference, but joins Faulkner on the All-SEC First Team. As for Faulkner, this marks her fourth-straight all-conference selection and second time (2013) being named to the first team. Le Beau was named to both the All-SEC Second Team and SEC All-Freshman Team for her work between the pipes at goalkeeper, while Troutman emerged as one of the best freshman in the conference as she was also named to the All-Freshman team. The four players named all-conference this season is the most for Auburn since putting four on the prestigious lists in That year, Katy Frierson was named an All-SEC first teamer, while Rebecca Howell and Sammy Towne were put on the second team. Goalkeeper Amy Howard was named All-Freshman. With its four players this year, Auburn had the second-most players in the conference named All-SEC, behind just Florida and Texas A&M, who each put five on the all-conference lists. Going back to this year s players, Ramsier becomes the second Auburn player ever to be named the SEC Scholar-Athlete of the Year. Former All-American Katy Frierson won the award back during her senior year in With her GPA in a double-major of Accounting and Finance, Ramsier is on track to graduate a full year early from the honors college. SE LOUISIANA LIONS 3RD NCAA APPEARANCE RECORD 0-2 LAST NCAA APPEARANCE: 2013 SLC TITLES: 7 Get to Know the Lady Lions Southeastern ranked among the Southland Conference leaders with 45 goals, 43 assists and 136 points, while allowing 18 goals and posting 10 shutouts. Utreras was among the league leaders with 33 points, nine assists and 12 goals. She had seven points on three goals and an assist in a 7-1 win over Incarnate Word earlier this season and also had a three-assist game in a 5-2 win at Mississippi Valley. Ramsey added seven goals while sophomore midfielder Ana Zadro and junior forwards Bri Singh and Marisa Rodrigues four apiece. Zadro also had seven assists while freshman forward/midfielder Sofia Olsson had five. Sabadash goes into the NCAAs with an.82 goals against average after allowing 18 goals in 21 matches (1974:11 minutes). She recorded 10 shutouts while pulling in 96 saves. Lady Lions In the Record Books It has been a historical season for a number of 2015 Lady Lions who are moving up the school s record book. Senior midfielder Cheyenne Maxwell will become the Lady Lions all-time leader in matches played when she participates in her 81st match on Saturday, breaking a tie with Lacey Bockhaus ( ) and Nicole Helmig ( ). Sabadash is tied with Bockhaus for second with 10 shutouts this season. She is also tied for second with Helmig with 24 career shutouts. Her 268 career saves are fourth-most alltime. Utreras is fourth for points in a season with 33. She is also tied with Karly Dagys (2010) and Candice Wallace (2009) for eighth with nine assists this season and is knotted with Maiya Cooper (2011) for ninth with 12 goals. Utreras has four game-winning goals this season, tied for fifth on the Southeastern list, and has taken 66 shots, the sixth most by a Lady Lion. Her seven-point effort against Incarnate Word is tied for sixth. Ramsey needs one more game-winning goal to tie for fifth all-time. Singh is currently tied for sixth with 26 career goals and tied for10th with 61 career points. Junior midfielder/defender Katie Noonan needs two more assists to move into the career top 10 while Zadro is also just outside the list for season assists.
