2 10 Max Naills - Dallastown District 3 Notes for York & Adams Counties Week 11 By Bill Engelhardt Class AAAA Playoffs As the 3rd seed the York Adams Interscholastic Athletic Association (YAIAA) Division I Wildcats of Dallastown (9-2 overall, 4-1 league) hosted the number 14 seed Cedars of Lebanon (7-4 0verall, 5-2 Lancaster-Lebanon 2) at 7PM on Friday, November 8 in the first round of the District 3 class AAAA Playoffs and won The Wildcats will move on to host the Panthers of Central Dauphin East (7-4 overall, 4-3 Mid-Penn Commonwealth Division) at 7PM on Friday, November 15 in the quarterfinals. Robert Catchings led the Wildcats rushing attack with 142- yards (including touchdowns of 67 and 3-yards), followed by Andrew Henry with 80 (including a 1-yard touchdown), and Dezmond Jones with 44-yards (including a 3-yard touchdown). Quarterback Henry completed 9 of 15 passes for 118-yards and 1 touchdown, 2 for 27-yards to Owen Ritter (including a 20-yard touchdown), 2 for 27-yards to Drew Romesberg, 1 for 27-yards to Catchings, 1 for 24-yards to Malik Lewis, and 1 for 13-yards to Addison Quinones, for the Wildcats. McKinley Curran kicked 5 extra points, Mays intercepted 2 passes, Lewis intercepted 1pass, Sean Roberts recorded 2 sacks and 3 pass hurries, Romesberg recorded 1 sack and 2 pass hurries, and, Kristoffer Phennicie recorded 2 pass hurries, for the Wildcats. Catchings now has 177 carries for 1,213-yards and 13 touchdowns rushing for the season to date, Henry has completed 96 passes for 1,270-yards and 9 touchdowns for the season to date, and Lewis leads the receivers with 44 receptions for 700-yards and 6 touchdowns, for the Wildcats. Mark Pyles led the Cedars rushing attack with 51-yards (including a 1-yard touchdown), followed by Daniel Caricabeur with 2-yards, and Kuke Eisenhour with no yards. Quarterback Pyles completed 25 of 36 passes for 292-yards and 2 touchdowns, 8 for 99-yards to Jeremy De la Cruz (including touchdowns of 3 and 16-yards), 5 for 95-yards to Nicholas Negron, 8 for 41-yards to Eisenhour, 2 for25-yards to Omel Francois, 1 for 18-yards to Jeronimo Rodriguez, and 1 for 14-yards to Xavier Baez, for the Cedars. Pyles threw a 2-point conversion pass to Negron for the Cedars. As the 5th seed the York Adams Interscholastic Athletic Association (YAIAA) Division I Panthers of Central York (4-7 overall, 1-4 league) hosted the number 12 seed Eagles of Exeter Township (9-2 0verall, 5-2 Berks Inter-County I) at 7PM on Friday, November 8 in the first round of the District 3 class AAAA Playoffs and were defeated The Eagles will move in and visit the Falcons of Lower Dauphin (10-1 overall, 6-1 Mid-Penn Keystone Division) at 7PM at Hershey Park Stadium on Friday November 15 in the quarterfinals. Ethan Lutz led the Eagles rushing attack with 113-yards, followed by Chase Yocum with 110 (including 43-yard touchdown), Manny Soto with 54-yards (including touchdowns of 4 and 35-yards), and Matt Hampton with minus 2-yards. Quarterback Yocum completed 11 of 20 passes for 212-yards and 2 touchdowns, 2 for 104-yards to Evan Lysczek (for touchdowns of 80 and 24-yards), 3 for 56- yards to Derrick Jackson, 2 for 23-yards to Drew Bennett, 3 for 19-yards to Lutz, and 1 for 10- yards to Soto, for the Eagles. Logan Gettis kicked 2 field goals (for 22 and 29-yards) and 5 extra points, Robbie Devich recovered a fumble, Michal Meret recorded 2 sacks, and Dominic Laib and Nathaniel Weber each recorded 1sack, for the Eagles. Quarterback Hose completed 16 of 32 passes for 267-yards and 3 touchdowns, 5 for 121-yards to Knaub (including touchdowns of 55 and 34-yards, 3 for 81-yards to Max Haldeman, 3 for 42-yards to Zach Emswiler, 3 for 15-yards to Randle, and 2 for 8-yards to Robert Romey (including a 6-yard touchdown, for the Panthers. Kyle Smith kicked a 34-yard field goal and 3 extra points, Myles Thomas and Williams each recorded 3 pass defenses and Chase Atkins recorded 1 pass defense, and Donny Crabill, Collin George and Elzir Stroman each recorded 2 pass hurries, for the Panthers. Class AAA Playoffs As the 5th seed the York Adams Interscholastic Athletic Association (YAIAA) Division II Eagles of Dover (9-2 overall, 5-0 league) hosted the number 12 seed Spartans of Milton Hershey (8-3 overall, Mid-Penn Capital Division) at 7PM on Friday, November 8 in the first round of the District 3 class AAA Playoffs and won The Eagles will move on and visit the Scouts of Conrad Weiser (8-3 overall, 4-3 Berks Inter-County I) at 7PM on Friday, November 15 in the quarterfinals. Jake McLean led the Eagles rushing attack with 123-yards (including a 56-yard touchdown), followed by Logan Ambrose with 78 (including a 1-yard touchdown), Isaiah Green with 54 (including touchdowns of 4 and 1-yards), John Sterner with 30, Gabe Jackson with 17- yards, and Tyler Blazasky with minus 7-yards. Quarterback Ambrose completed 1 of 2 passes for 13-yards to Derrick Wagaman for the Eagles. Cameron Beckman intercepted a pass and returned it 4-yards for a touchdown, recovered a fumble and and recorded 2 sacks, Brendan Warren kicked 4 extra points, Green recovered 1 fumble, and Shawn Orchard recorded 1 pass hurry, for the Eagles. Green has rushed for 1,123-yards and 14 touchdowns for the season so far for the Eagles. As the 13th seed the York Adams Interscholastic Athletic Association (YAIAA) Division I Rockets of Spring Grove (6-5 overall, 2-3 league) visited the number 4 seed Scouts of Conrad Weiser (8-3 overall, 4-3 Berks Inter-County I) at 7PM on Friday, November 8 in the first round of the District 3 class AAA Playoffs and were shut out The Scouts will host the York Adams Interscholastic Athletic Association (YAIAA) Division II Eagles of Dover (9-2 overall, 5-0 league) at 7PM on Friday, November 15 in the quarterfinals. Dexter Jordan led the Scouts rushing attack with 170-yards, followed by Aidan Brosious with 31 (including touchdowns of 10 and 2-yards), Alex Kirn with 8, Aaron Sadowski with 5, Josh Joseph with 4, and Joe Pangelinan with 2-yards. Quarterback Brosious completed 9 of 16 passes for 90-yards and 1 touchdown, 2 for 37-yards to Sadowski, 3 for 26-yards to Pierce Brosious, 2 for 14-yards to Jordan, 1 for 9- yards and a touchdown to Zach Torchia, and 1 for 4-yards to Chase Ober, for the Scouts. Jake Roth kicked a 47-yard field goal and 3 extra points, Jordan intercepted a pass and recovered a

Seth Hildebrand led the Rockets rushing attack with 52-yards, followed by Jeff Delaughter with 46, Evan Himes with 12, De Andre Gaskins with 7, and Shay Feulmer with 5-yards. Quarterback Hildebrand completed 6 of 19 passes for 76-yards, 1 for 35- yards to Feulmer, 2 for 24-yards to Delaughter, 2 for 11-yards to Himes, and 1 for 6-yards to Logan Hall, for the Rockets. Delaughter recovered a fumble for the Rockets. Delaughter, who had already broken the school career rushing record, rushed for 1,501-yards for the season for the Rockets. As the 14th seed the Mid-Penn Colonial Division s Warriors of Gettysburg (6-5 overall, 6-1 league) visited the number 3 seed Eagles of Cocalico (10-1 overall, 6-1 Lancaster-Lebanon 2) at 7PM on Friday, November 8 in the first round of the District 3 class AAA Playoffs and were defeated The Eagles will move on and will host the Crusaders of Lancaster Catholic (6-5 overall, 5-2 Lancaster-Lebanon League Section 1) at 7PM on Friday, November 15 in the quarterfinals. Spencer Moser led the Eagles rushing attack with 156-yards (including a 1-yard touchdown), followed by Jhett Janis with 44 (including a 32-yard touchdown), Matthew Weinhold with 23 (including touchdowns of 7 and 1-yards), Brad Whittaker with 22 (including a 5-yard touchdown), Dominic Fabiani with 20, Dante Haines with 8, Trevor Fichthorn with 5, Alec Whitsett with 5, and Hunter High with 2-yards. Quarterback Janis completed 1 of 2 passes for 39-yards and a touchdown to Casey Kerschner for the Eagles. Moser recorded a safety by tacking a Warriors runner in the end zone, and Daniel Graybill kicked 5 extra points for the Eagles. Lane Sherman led the Warriors rushing attack with 67-yards, followed by Jesse Stouch with 38, Tyler Lampe with 19-yards, and Austin McGee with no yards. Quarterback Stouch completed 9 of 22 passes for 148-yards and 1 touchdown, 3 for 70-yards to Lampe (including a 17-ysrd touchdown), 3 for 48-yards to Kobe Wansel, and 3 for 30-ysrds to Michael Ingalsbe, for the Warriors. Stouch threw a 2-point conversion pass to Sherman for the Warriors. As the 16th seed the York Adams Interscholastic Athletic Association (YAIAA) Division II Colonials of New Oxford (6-4 overall, 3-2 league) visited the number 1 seed Crusaders of Bishop McDevitt (9-1 overall, 6-1 Mid-Penn Keystone Division) at 7PM on Friday, November 8 in the first round of the District 3 class AAA Playoffs and were losing 21-0 in the first quarter when the game was suspended due to the stadium lights going out. The game was resumed at noon on Saturday and the Crusaders won The Crusaders will move on and host the Berks Inter-County 1 Muhls of Muhlenberg (8-3 overall, 4-3 league) at 7PM on Friday, November 15 in the quarterfinals. In the Friday night action, Andre Robinson scored a touchdown on a 3-yard run, Nick Marsilio threw a 16-yard touchdown pass to Bryce Hall, and Nate Monroe recovered a fumble and returned it 6-yards for a touchdown, for the Crusaders. No other information was available about this game. Class AA Playoffs As the 1st seed the York Adams Interscholastic Athletic Association (YAIAA) Division III Thunderbolts of Littlestown (11-0 overall, 9-0 league) hosted the number 8 seed Dutchmen of Annville-Cleona (4-7 overall, 4-2 Lancaster-Lebanon 3) at 7PM on Friday, November 8 in the first round of the District 3 class AA Playoffs and won The Thunderbolts will move on and host the Berks Inter-Count 2 Spartans of Wyomissing (6-5 overall, 4-2 league) at 7PM on

5 Friday, November 15 in the semifinals. The Spartans ended the Thunderbolts season in the first round of the playoffs for the past 2 years so the Thunderbolts will be out for revenge. Dustin DeGroft led the Thunderbolts rushing attack with 100-yards (including an 83-yard touchdown), followed by Trevor Hildebrand with 40, Lucas Reynolds with 32, L.J. Miles with 21, Zach Brown with 20, and Jeremy Shoemaker with 8-yards. Quarterback Hildebrand completed 9 of 16 passes for 160-yards, 7 for 150-yards to Garrett Trout (including a 29-yard touchdown) and 2 for 10-yards to Todd cook, and Reynolds took a toss right from Hildebrand and threw a 34-yard touchdown pass to Trout, for the Thunderbolts. Jeff Garman kicked 2 field goals (for 27 and 22- yards) and 3 extra points for the Thunderbolts. Colton Dull led the Eagles rushing attack with 116-yards (including touchdowns of 13, 1, and 15-yards), followed by Ryan Markle with 77 (including a 22-yard touchdown), Briton Shelton with 73-yards (including a 7-yard touchdown), and Ted Marines with minus 8-yards. Aaron Rebert kicked 5 extra points and Markle intercepted a pass for the Eagles.
