It will mark the rivals 13th and final Big South Conference clash. 2) Liberty and Coastal Carolina have split their first 12 matchups, 6-6, with the last two meetings each ending on a blocked field goal. See pages 3 and 22 for more on the series history. 3) The Flames, who are facing their second straight FCS Top 10 opponent, are 5-3 in their last eight meetings against FCS Top 25 foes, including 1-1 in ) Liberty will recognize a highly decorated 17-member senior class prior to kickoff on Thursday. The Chan cleers are 17-4 in conference play since the start of the 2012 campaign. 2 - Coastal Carolina senior QB Alex Ross and Liberty senior QB Josh Woodrum are two of the top ac ve FCS signal callers as well as two of the best in Big South Conference history. Woodrum is the FCS ac ve leader with 10,004 career passing yards and also owns the Big South career record. Ross ranks third among ac ve FCS quarterbacks with 9,178 passing yards and third in Big South history. Ross and Woodrum have only started against each other once previously (Oct. 19, 2013), combining for 676 yards and six TDs in a Chan cleer victory. 3 - A blocked field goal has ended each of the last two Liberty-Coastal Carolina games. (Brooks Stadium) Chima Uzowihe blocked a poten al game-winning 24-yard field goal as me expired, allowing Liberty to punch its cket to the NCAA FCS Playoffs for the first me.
