In two wins last week, Samuelson averaged 26.5 points per game while shooting 68 percent rom the ield. This was the second time this season she was named conerence player o the week. Dailey Selected to WBB Hall o Fame Associate head coach Chris Dailey was selected as an inductee to the Women s Basketball Hall o Fame Class o Dailey is the ith Husky selected as a hall o amer ollowing head coach Geno Auriemma (2006), Rebecca Lobo (2010), Jennier Rizzotti (2013) and Kara Wolters in (2017). Four Huskies Named to Naismith Late Season Napheese Collier, Kia Nurse, Katie Lou Samuelson and Gabby Williams were all tabbed to the Citizen Naismith Trophy Women s College Player o the Year late season watch list. UConn has the most players o any program on the 30-player list. The Huskies have won 10 Naismith Awards all-time, the most o any program. Record-Setting Win Over Wichita State The Huskies deeated Wichita State by a count on February 10 in Hartord. The 124 points were only two points shy o tying the program s single-game points record and the 81-point margin o victory was the second-most lopsided in school history. The win was also UConn s 87th straight against a irst-time opponent. Huskies Against the Top-Five Connecticut has won 33 o the last 41 games it has played against opponents ranked in the AP top-ive, including the last 19 in-a-row. Stevens Eclipses 1,000-Point Mark Azura Stevens scored 938 points during her irst two years at Duke and scored her 1,000th-career point in the win over Michigan State on 11/25.
