The Panthers became the first small college champion to represent the United States in the annual goodwill tours sponsored by the United States State Department. The Panthers played exhibition games and gave demonstrations at clinics on their five West African nation tours. Panthers Tour Europe On August, 1985, the Panthers embarked on a twelve day tour of England and France. Kentucky Wesleyan played six exhibition games against the best professional teams in England. The all expense paid tour marked the second time Kentucky Wesleyan basketball traveled internationally. 35
