The aim of each team is to score in the opponents basket and to prevent the other team from scoring. A basketball game is controlled by the officials, table officials and a commissioner, if present. In basketball, players can score by shooting for a field goal or a free throw. Field goals can be scored by performing various types of shots: jump shot, lay-up, dunk, tap, one-hand set shot, hook shot. There are also various types of passes in basketball, such as the two-hand pass, bounce pass, chest pass, baseball pass, behind-the-back pass, two-hand overhead pass, etc.
