New Head Coach Dick Vermeil liked what he saw in this 30 year old old man who had no college football experience who became the oldest rookie in the history of the NFL. Vince went on to play wide receiver and special teams for the Eagles from 1976 through During that time, he played in 41 of 44 regular season games recording two fumble recoveries, and one 15-yard reception.
