Next on the event calendar - Get ready for hard-hitting, adrenaline packed action when the MONSTER ENERGY PBR CANADA TOUR comes to town September 16 th and 17 th. For two heartstopping hours, fans will witness the best bull riders in Canada and the world battle the rankest bulls on the planet. This is not a rodeo; it s the Toughest Sport on Dirt! Broken bones, sore muscles, torn ligaments - all can make an eight second ride feel like a lifetime but nothing, not even the rankest bulls, can crush these cowboys dreams of making it to the top. Event Details: Top riders in the world will have the opportunity to compete in the Monster Energy PBR Canada World Final Qualifier. Friday night, 7:30PM: 25 riders compete Bullfight (3 of the best bullfighters): *Note no animals are hurt in the event. Bullfights Gladiator style contest of man vs beast... no referees no rules a game of tag between man and bull for 60 seconds Monster Energy Challenge (1 champion rider competes for $5000)* money is paid out for a qualified 8 second ride or carried over until the next PBR TV Event. Saturday Night, 7:30PM 25 Riders Compete Junior Riders: the future of the PBR - these kids age are hungry to chase their dreams and follow in the footsteps of their idols Aaron Roy, Zane Lambert and Tanner Byrne mama don t let your babies grow up to be cowboys! Championship Round (top 10 riders from 1st round) Also included is a new Cirque de Soleil show playing at the MTS Centre Oct 5 th 9 th. Inspired by James Cameron s AVATAR, TORUK The First Flight transports you to the world of Pandora in a visually stunning live setting.
