BlueCLINO perfectly combines precision and versatility in a portable and rigid instrument Precision BlueCLINO combines a huge measuring range of ±60 or ±10 with excellent accuracy over the complete measuring range. This is based on two main features of the BlueCLINO: Each instrument is individually calibrated over the complete measuring and temperature range The instrument can be adapted to the local gravity to ensure best possible accuracy wherever the instrument is used Versatility Being a hand-held instrument BlueCLINO can be used in a huge variety of applications. Depending on your requirements, the instrument can be equipped with magnets or with threads. As a standard it comes with 3 measuring faces allowing among others - to measure the parallelism of opposite faces. An optional 4th measuring base on the top of the instrument allows even to measure the horizontal parallelism of an upper and lower side. Wireless functionality BlueCLINO can be connected to android tablets or phones (see Google Play Store for details) which can then be used as remote displays. This feature makes the instrument much more versatile and opens up new applications. Display The color display is backlit and has a high contrast. It therefore provides excellent readability even under adverse conditions like a workshop or under a machine or outside at night. 4 Options Measuring range ±60 or ±10 Standard measuring range is ±60. For those who require an even better accuracy but do not need the full measuring range, a version with ±10 is available. 7 Importance of adapting your BlueCLINO to your local gravity High precision inclination measuring instruments like the BlueCLINO use the fact that gravity is always pointing to the center of the earth. This allows the measurement of inclination as a deviation from that direction. Unfortunately, gravity does not have a constant value on the surface of the earth. For small inclinations below 1 degree, the impact of local gravity can be neglected. On the other hand, with an instrument like the BlueCLINO, having a measuring range of ±10 respectively ±60, the local gravity has a measurable impact on the result. Example: A BlueCLINO with a measuring range of ±60, calibrated in Switzerland, shipped to Madrid, would be out of specification if the local gravity would not be compensated: an inclination of +60 would be indicated as !
