Transitive verb (Ngoại động từ) - Ngoại động từ là động từ diễn tả 1 hành động có tác động trực tiếp đến một người hay một vật khác được gọi là tân ngữ trực tiếp (Direct object), hay nói cách khác nhóm động từ này đòi hỏi phải có tân ngữ theo sau - Một số ngoại động từ thông dụng trong nhóm này: clean, see, meet, read, catch, teach, study, buy, sell,..
