CAPTAIN WILL ROBINSON - BRITISH Will is passionate about yachting, hardly surprising considering he was brought up sailing around the waters of the UK and hails from Lymington on the South coast of

Over this time, Will has progressed quickly encompassing his already sound maritime knowledge, with many new experiences and training along the way.

29 CAPTAIN WILL ROBINSON - BRITISH Will is passionate about yachting, hardly surprising considering he was brought up sailing around the waters of the UK and hails from Lymington on the South coast of England. Will moved to the super yachts industry 12 years ago after completing a degree in Maritime Management at Southampton University. Over this time, Will has progressed quickly encompassing his already sound maritime knowledge, with many new experiences and training along the way. Will Holds his MCA Master of Yachts 3000 Tons and is currently in his third year on Koi. Will run s a dynamic, sharp, team-oriented crew, he has a high empathise on training and education to encourage progression with in the team. In the last 10 years, he has worked on both sailing yachts and motor yachts. Will has an extensive charter background on a number of different yachts, including three years as Chief Officer, on one of the busiest and high profile charter yachts of her time, Mirabella V. His previous yachts include Lady Ann Magee (50m), SY MITseaAH (48m), SY Mirabella V (75m) and MY IDOL (60m). More recently, he was on MY Galileo G, a 56m Picchiotti and an Ice Class explorer yacht, where they did some extensive travelling to very remote locations. Over the last 10 years, Will has cruised extensively in the Mediterranean and the Caribbean, and has spent a few seasons cruising the Pacific, east and west coasts of the United States and Canada. Hobbies: Growing up on the water will enjoys most water sports, his main hobby is sailing but he can also be found surfing, kite boarding, diving or in the winter snowboarding. A genuine all-rounder, Will, will go to and beyond the call of duty to provide a spectacular experience aboard Koi, So sit back relax and enjoy your time on board Koi. Will and Dan first worked together in 2011, when Dan was the Bosun on Jasali II. Dan s good humour and laid-back personality instantly puts charter guests at ease on board Koi.

30 FIRST MATE DANIEL PAyNE - BRITISH Daniel is in his sseventh year in the yachting industry, over this time he has worked his way up the deck ladder on a number of different yachts from the 34 meter Kiring to the 105 meter Le Grand Blue, then Jasali II, a 53 meter Perini Navi, Flying Fox, a 74 meter Nobiskurg and Finally White cloud a 67 meter Feadship. Will and Dan first worked together in 2011, when Dan was the Bosun on Jasali II. Dan s good humour and laid-back personality instantly puts charter guests at ease on board Koi. Dan is a highly competent First mate and sports man, he has an extensive water sports background, he is an instructor in the following disciplines; Kitesurfing, Dinghy Instructor, Keelboat Instructor, Multihull Instructor, Windsurf Instructor, Kayak Coach and is a Nitrox Diver. He is also a very competent wake boarder and surfer. Up until the age of 16 he was a Team GB gymnast. So, if you are looking for an active holiday, Dan is your man. He is up for fun and ready to go, be it playing ball on the beach with kids, taking a group out for a snorkel or doing some offshore trolling on the tender. Dan is happy to set it all up, teach you how it works and hopefully come back with fresh fish for dinner! In addition to all of this, he keeps the yacht looking pristine and all of the toys working and ready to go. Dan holds his Officer of the Watch 3000gt and is currently working towards his Chief Mate 3000gt ticket. Hobbies: Dan enjoys Surfing, wakeboarding, Kitesurfing, Snowboarding, Sailing, Cycling and Diving. KOI I MCMULLEN & WING

31 ENGINEER MATTHEW HICKEy - BRITISH Matthew comes from a family of seafarers, and is the 6th generation to take up a career at sea. Growing up on the Mersey, near Liverpool, Matt s marine career started with an apprenticeship wiring merchant vessel at Liverpool docks. Matts Yachting experience started in 2006 when he electrical skills took him to Genova for a contract to rewire a yacht, from here he gain employment on Longo Mai, as the Engineer and has never looked back. Matt has spent much of his time on yachts in the Caribbean and central America. His best memories are from cruising the waters on the pacific coast of Columbia and Panama, where he was luck enough to explore the Darian rain forest and meet the kuna Indians. Hobbies: Matt is a keen cyclist and also loves to surf and paddle board. He enjoys travelling and seeing new places. Live music is another interest of mine as well as football. Matt is now based in the Mediterranean as he and his wife have recently started a family. KOI I MCMULLEN & WING

32 CHEF CHRIS ASSAL - BRITISH Chris has been a chef for the last 15 years. After finishing University in Brighton, he took up a career as a chef, His first few years were spent under the watch full eye of two highly awarded Michelin stared chefs, where he was trained in the classics. Since then he has worked in a range of fine dining restaurants and highly awarded gastro pubs in the Brighton area. Over the years, he has worked his way round the kitchen in order to balance his skills and ensure that he is refined in all areas. Since 2008, he has worked for the Gingerman Company. Bring their two restaurants and two gastro pubs up to Michelin star and double Rosette awarded standards. The Gingerman is highly acclaimed and is well known in the UK restaurant scene as the top place to eat in Brighton. His plates have a modern classy style to them, which are super charged with flavours. Using the freshest local ingredients, Chris s blends food and flavours to allow the natural goodness of foods to be savoured. So sit back, relax, and prepare your taste buds for a phenomenal adventure. Hobbies: In His spare time, Chris enjoys Classic cars and motorbikes, Snowboarding and Skiing, Travelling, Food and Wine. He also has a keen interest in Surfing, fishing, and all ocean activities. If all goes well, Chris will Catch your dinner then cook it for you. KOI I MCMULLEN & WING

33 CHIEF STEWARDESS ERICA FELTHAM CANADIAN Our new cheerful, Chief stewardess Erica, will take care of your every whim while you are aboard Koi. Erica was born in Ottawa, Canada and spent much of her childhood sailing the St. Laurence and Lake Ontario where she started to develop her taste for adventure and love of the sea. She gained a diploma in media and communication and then left Canada to explore the world. She spent three years traveling Fiji, New Zealand and Australia while working in various hospitality jobs as a barista, bartender, hostel manager, bar supervisor and even as crew on aboard a whale watching vessel. After a short stint back home in chilly Canada she decided to combine her love of the sea and warmer climes with her love of people to embark upon a career in the yachting industry. Erica first vessel took her to the waters of Hong Kong where she worked as a sole stewardess for 2 years. For the past three years Erica has been working on board yachts in the Mediterranean, embracing the European culture and food and perfecting her service skills. She is happy to welcome you on board! Hobbies: Traveling, diving, sailing, photography, reading, history, architecture, cooking & eating STEWARDESS CAROLINE EvANS - BRITISH Caroline is the final member of the team, growing up in Cornwall in the Southwest of the UKCaroline has always had an affiliation with the sea. Caroline is very health conscious, and very active. In the UK she is a fully trained Physiotherapist. Her past jobs have combined both her passion for sport and exercise, and her degree and training as a Physiotherapist. She worked as a Physiotherapist for the NHS for a number of years and for a private sports physio-practice. Before this, she managed the health centre at the St Michaels hotel and Spa in Cornwall, her duties included gym instruction, programme design, fitness testing and providing clients with advice regarding nutrition, lifestyle and exercise Working in the spa as a masseuse when required. Although Caroline is a fully trained physiotherapist but our insurance does not allow her to perform physiotherapy on guests. However, she is available for advice. Hobbies: Caroline is passionate about health and fitness. She regularly runs, surfs, and does Pilates. She has recently taken up snowboarding this winter. KOI I MCMULLEN & WING

DECKHAND MATTHEW CARSCADDEN - BRITISH Matt started in yachting in 2011 after finishing his apprenticeship at HM dockyard with BAE systems as a marine engineering technician.

During his apprenticeship Matt worked afloat on many different types of vessels, ranging from the smaller minesweepers to Aircraft Carriers.

34 DECKHAND MATTHEW CARSCADDEN - BRITISH Matt started in yachting in 2011 after finishing his apprenticeship at HM dockyard with BAE systems as a marine engineering technician. BAE systems operate the maintenance of all UK naval ships and submarines based in Portsmouth. During his apprenticeship Matt worked afloat on many different types of vessels, ranging from the smaller minesweepers to Aircraft Carriers. Matt s first yacht was the 41 meter Silver Cloud; Matt cruised over 10,000 miles up the east coast of the states, over the Atlantic and around Scandinavia. Matts next yacht was the 55 meter MY Kisses, on board here he extensively cruised the Mediterranean. Onboard, Matt assists Dan with the running of the exterior of the yacht, he will be on hand to help explain the use of any equipment that we have onboard, drive guests ashore in one of the tenders and ensure that the exterior of the yacht is maintained to the highest standards. Hobbies: Outside of Yachting Matt enjoys playing football, running and generally keeping active. He loves live music and going to gigs. We seem to have a particularly healthy crew this year, so if you are into your fitness we have someone to help you with whatever your needs are from advise on technics to nutrition ideas. However, if you are just thinking of coming to Koi to relax and enjoy a holiday away from it all, don t worry, we won t be run any boot camps, it just means that the crew can run round for long looking after all your needs and wants without tiring.
