Pioneering the very first Tuna Tower, fighting chair and the transom door along with exquisite craftsmanship, produced a cult following throughout the industry. EL QUESO GRANDE originally named FLYING FISHER is hull # 80, built for Bob Fisher who had such passion and admiration he purchased the company after the passing of Tommy Rybovich in This 65 Rybovich built in 1980 by America s most famous boat builder, Custom everything and in amazing condition having just completed an extensive refit. Remove steering gears, stainless steel chain and chain tensioner guides for inspection and paint. Remount steering sprockets on rudders, including one new sprocket on starboard side. Fit new stainless chain and chain tensioners and movement. Replace and oversize air conditioning seawater intake through hull and valve. Replace port generator through hull and valve. Replace forward head intake through hull and valve. Re-plumb and mount strainer. Replace forward head discharge through hull and valve. Re-plumb with all new hose. Service all other sea water valves. Remove all external intake strainers, paint with bottom paint and reattach. Replace stainless steel chain on fighting chair motor. Remove and rebuild forward par bilge pump. Check windless operation. (Windless motor tips overload) Remove windless motor and inspect drive gears. (Vertical shaft is rusted in place) Remove windless drum (drum was rusted on shaft and needed excessive heat and wedges to remove) Lubricate windless vertical shaft and ensure free movement. Install repaired and re-chromed drum on shaft and test operation. Check rudder packing and adjust. Remove port and starboard propellers in preparation for cutlass bearing replacement. Pick up an install port and starboard propellers. Remove 3 sets of faucets and drains and replace with new. (Includes re-drilling for new faucets) Remove and replace shower drains and replace with new. (Includes re-drilling for new faucets) Check working operation of all bilge pumps and high water alarms. Replace bilge pumps and float switch in lazarette. Replace aft engine room pump and float switch. Replace forward engine room pump and float switch. Replace check valves on both forward engine room pumps. Replace both engine room high water alarm switches. Remove and install new fresh water pressure pump. Remove and replace forward cabin head blower. Assist with electrical repair and troubleshooting. (Includes motors, blowers, nav. systems and lighting) Tie wrap and/or support all wiring and hoses throughout vessel as needed. Remove old and install new engine room fire extinguishing system. Remove and replace the starboard battery switch. Weld the expansion tank. Fuel tanks cleaned. Replaced alarm system. 40% of the fly bridge was rotten and had to be replaced. Rot in the fore deck and had to be replaced. Rot in the hull that had to be fixed. Had to be sanded down almost completely to the bare wood and reprimed and fared. We showed Christian the work that had to be done. Rot on the cabinetries on the aft deck. Apply new veneer and coating. Wiring was a nightmare and had to have extensive work done. Engine room was in pretty bad shape and took extensive work to have it come out nice. Majority of the interior lights were not working correctly. They had bad transformers or starters. We had to find where it all was located and replace them. Spare parts for lights on board, engines, and generators.

6 Majority of the boat had to be replaced or fixed. Fix Hydraulic steering pump. Remove steering sprocket. Install new steering sprocket. Replace some of the chain for the steering system. Purchase new turbo blankets. Install new stainless steel chaffing gear, so ropes would not ruin varnish. Replaced Seacocks, one up forward Replaced the air-conditioning Replaced one of the Generators Replaced combing boards in cockpit
