Plans have been reviewed and approved per requirements for Category 1 offshore racing. HULL CONSTRUCTION: Hull is constructed of carbon fibre laminates on the inside and outside skins, with a Nomex core. DECK CONSTRUCTION: Deck is constructed of carbon fibre laminates on the inside and outside skins, with a Nomex core. The load areas of the deck are reinforced with closed cell foam core. INTERNAL STRUCTURES: Internal structures are constructed of carbon fibre laminates, with a combination of Nomex and closed cell foam core. KEEL: Canting keel has a fully machined keel fin and a lead bulb mechanically fastened to the fin, with two hydraulic rams, driven off the main engine to operate the keel movements. Controls to operate the keel are found at the helm stations and on the touch screen monitor in the navigation station. Stainless Steel pins fore and aft attach the keel to the hull at the pivot position. RUDDERS & DAGGERBOARDS: Two rudders and rudder stocks are built of carbon fibre. Rudder bearings are manufactured by JP3. Rudder quadrants are built of carbon fibre. Twin carbon fibre steering wheels, with chain and sprocket on the steering heads, leading to Dynice steering cables to the quadrants. Emergency tiller is anodised aluminium. Twin daggerboards are built of carbon fibre with red two pack Durapox finish. Up/down controls are 12mm spectra with cranes on the leading edges of the boards.

2 PAINTWORK: Topsides are finished with black two pack Durapox. Working deck is painted with Matahorn White Awlgrip 1000 non-skid, with gloss side finishes. Cockpit is covered with grey adhesive Non-Skid. Bottom of the hull is antifouled. Interior is clear coat carbon, with gloss aqua highlights and clear coat countertops. ENGINE: 240 HP 4LHA-STP Yanmar diesel engine, with hydraulic driven drop box propeller with four blades. Drop box control is in the aft hatch and on the touch screen monitor in the navigation station. Throttle system is a Microcommander and the yacht is propelled hydraulically. Engine control panel is in the engine room, as well as controls on the touch screen monitor in the navigation station. Remote start/stop buttons at the helm stations and in the aft hatch. Saltwater engine cooling system intakes are on both sides and automatically pick up from the leeward side. Racor primary fuel filter/water separator, plus secondary filters for the fuel. Six diesel tanks built into the main saloon bilge (1,500L), with an 80L day tank for engine fuel supply. Fuel transfer pump to transfer diesel from the main tanks to the day tank. Engine is fitted with two 80 amp alternators for battery charging. Exhaust has a composite waterlock and carbon fibre exhaust plumbing running to the transom. INTERIOR: Three watertight compartments forward of the main/mast bulkhead. The forward hatch is sealed pneumatically. Keel void has 10mm clear covers over the keel box and two shelves on each side of the yacht. Sail and mast control hydraulic manifold is on the bulkhead in the port keel void. Mast wiring junction box is also in the port keel void. 18 x pipe berths in the accommodation space, with nine berths on each side. Two fixed bunks above water ballast plumbing. Six lockers in the forward accommodation spaces, with three on each side. Galley has twin sinks with pressure fresh water system. Double lockers above and below the sink countertop. Adjacent double lockers are located on the opposite side of the galley, as well as lockers below the centre countertop. Gimballing 2 x burner propane stove with mesh stowage pockets on bulkhead.

3 Engine room is situated below the cockpit sole. Primary switchboard, engine panel, keel and prop hydraulic manifold, hydraulic reservoir and bilge pump are situated in the engine room. Engine room has two doors for access on each side. Electric head is situated off the starboard forward engine room wing. Head salt water inlet scoops are situated at either side of the galley entrance to the accommodation spaces. Head outlet is located next to the toilet. A shelf for storage is situated above the toilet. Navigation station is aft of the engine room under the cockpit sole. It houses the C-Zone controls, Zues plotter, touch screen monitor, four B&G repeaters, two computer monitors and other miscellaneous navigation and communication controls. Two racing chairs in the navigation station with black vinyl upholstery are secured to safety storage lockers. Water ballast area is aft of the navigation station and the aft hatch. Steering compartment houses the rudder stocks and quadrants and is accessed through the aft deck hatch which has a pneumatic seal. PLUMBING: 600L fresh water tank, with 30L fresh water day tank, water transfer pump from main tank to day tank with control toggle switch in forward port galley locker. The day tank feeds the galley tap only. 2 x electric bilge pumps with roaming hoses, situated in starboard keel void and starboard aft engine room. The on/off toggle switches are located near the bilge pumps. 2 x manual bilge pumps with roaming hoses, situated in the starboard keel void and starboard cockpit side wall. Handles are tied on next to the pumps. Water ballast intake/outlets are custom built of carbon fibre. Ballast system has Valtera valves throughout with carbon fibre plumbing. 24V electric pumps on each side to fill ballast tanks. 3 x water ballast tanks holding approximately 3t per side. All skin fittings are Forespar flush seacocks or custom scoops.

LED interior lighting with switches throughout the boat, as well as control from the Zues monitor. 1 x engine start battery and 2 x house batteries. House, engine and emergency start isolator switch. On deck and masthead tricolour/windex Lopolight navigation lights. B&G Hydra 3000 & B&G WTP instruments around navigation station and deck with 6 x 40/40 mast instruments on anodised aluminium bracket. 2 x masthead wands. Zues T12 plotter integrated to C-Zone control and possible Zues radar. 2 x Panasonic Toughbook computers with built in monitors in navigation station. 1 x Panasonic Toughbook tablet with WIFI connection. ICOM VHF radio in navigation station, with AIS transponder. AIS on/off toggle switch. ICOM HF Radio in navigation station, with 2 x whip antennas. 3G/4G modem and FB150 Sat comm system integrated to computers. MOB switch and alarm. Bilge alarms. Engine alarms. RIG: 45m fractional deck stepped Southern Spars carbon fibre mast with five sets of in line spreaders, a set of topmast/checkstays backstays with deflectors and fixed forestay. Mast consists of one locking mainsail car on 2:1 halyard, 2 x masthead spinnaker halyards with internal locks, one fractional spinnaker halyard with internal lock, one headsail halyard with stay lock, one solent halyard with internal lock and one staysail halyard with internal lock. Lock sensors and alarm on all forward locks. Southern Spars carbon fibre boom has in built outhaul ram and three internal reef locks. Lazy jacks are designed into the mast and boom with black lazy jack bags running into a built-in groove in the boom. Boom vang is a fixed length strop. Boom is supported by a Southern Spars boom crutch when at dock. EC6 standing rigging. 240V Enerpac mast jacks with lifting bar.
