( Recommended: protection index 6, meaning 480 minutes permeation time according to EN 374: e.g. of nitrile rubber (0,33-0,50mm ), chloroprene rubber (0,7-1,0 mm), polyvinyl chloride (0,7 mm), butyl rubber (0,7 mm ) fluoro rubber (0,7 mm), natural latex (1,0 mm) etc. As there are many different types you should observe the directions for use. Additional remark: The information given is based on personal tests, literary sources, glove producer guide lines or has been deduced by analogy from similar products. It must be taken into account that the daily time of use of a protective glove may be considerably shorter than the ascertained permeation time according to EN 374 due to the many factors of influence (e.g. temperature). With regard to the information available to us we recommend: butyl rubber (layer thickness 0,7 mm ) or nitrile rubber ( 0,33-0,50 mm ) - Permeation time of the glove material The exact permeation time will be given by the glove manufacturer and must be observed. The figure known to us from literature is about at least 480 minutes. - Unsuitable are gloves made of the following materials: natural rubber (latex) - Eye protection: closely fitting protective glasses 9.
