2 Resort Activities Guide For Plantation Island Resort One thing is for certain. From the moment you arrive at Plantation Island Resort, there is something for everyone to do! There are no TV s in the rooms so the Plantation Experience is all about getting outdoors and spending time with the family. From paddle boarding to tennis to golf to scuba diving to surfing and even coconut tree climbing,there are endless choices for complimentary and paid activities at the Resort. There s also an inflatable water park where both adults and kids can cool down and make a splash. There are plenty of things to do in Fiji, but loads of adventure and fun awaits you at Plantation Island Resort. There are countless activities for smaller children, teens and the big kids too! You will have a ball at Plantation Island Resort, we look forward to your arrival at the Resort soon.

3 COMPLIMENTARY RESORT ACTIVITIES KAYAKS & PADDLE BOARDS Plantation offers complimentary use of kayaks and Stand Up Paddle Boards (SUP) during your stay. All kayaking & paddle boarding should take place in Malolo Lailai Bay, please do not attempt to kayak around the island. The Bay is bigger than you think and could be dangerous! We recommend you wear the life jackets provided for this activity. WINDSURFING & HOBIE CATS Experience this great sport for free! Please ask a watersports attendant for assistance to assemble the boards and sails. We recommend you wear the life jackets provided for this activity. SNORKELLING Explore the crystal clear water of our beach. Snorkelling gear is complimentary if returned by 5pm the same day. A $5 fee applies per day if you wish to keep the set overnight. Day Trip guests need to pay a bond of $50, upon return $40 will be refunded. Please make sure you do not stand on the coral when snorkelling as this could damage the reef COCONUT HUSKING Experience a demonstration of the traditional and modern methods in husking a coconut. Learn how the Fijians would use every part of the coconut from food to crafting eating utensils, jewelry as well as furniture. CRAB RACING Crab racing is a common evening entertainment activity at many Fiji Island Resorts. Little hermit crabs are collected then you pick the crab you think will be the fastest, place your bet, and they're off! GUIDED WALKS/TOURS Come explore Malolo Lailai Island on a guided walk, held every Tuesday and Wednesday. KID S CLUB Plantation Island Resort is a Kids haven with a full range of activities that are sure to entertain all ages. Our Kids Club is free of charge and is open from 10:30am 8:30pm every day. Kids aged between 5 12 are welcome to join us! MINI-GOLF The mini-golf course is located next to the tennis court. Golf Clubs can be borrowed from the Beach Activities Hut. Due to the new development taking place at the Resort, our Mini Golf Course is temporarily closed. We will be building a new mini golf course once the development is completed in mid-2019 TENNIS Our all weather tennis court is located near the Ocean Pool. Court use, tennis racquets and balls are free of charge. For Bookings contact the Beach Activities Hut. VOLLEYBALL Come and join in the fun! We play every day at 4pm. Fiji versus the rest of the world. MUSICAL AND CULTURAL ENTERTAINMENT Music is a big part of Fijian life, which you will come to understand when you visit. We have a string band that plays Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sundays plus we have a DJ play every night! POOL TABLE We have a pool table located next to Brigham Bar and Ol Copra Shed Restaurant, it only costs FJ$2 to play. CHURCH VISIT Fiji is a predominantly catholic country and we have our very own Church on Malolo Lailai Island. Come visit the Church on the hill with us every Sunday.

OUTDOOR PLAYGROUNDS Plantation has recently purchased two brand new outdoor playgrounds, one is for kids aged 0-5 and the other is for kids aged 6-12.

9 SURFING The Lexmee Evening Star departs every day during high tide (we ll let you know when it s high tide, just ask). You can choose from 7 breaks, depending on your level of surfing skills and which has the better surf. Fiji surfing is as much fun as anywhere else in the world. DURATION Trips take minutes to reach the break, you then spend 3 hours surfing before returning. The entire trip takes about four hours. On some days the tour will go twice, once in the morning and again in the afternoon.
