We have been using the ecologically correct procedures in the manufacturing of our furnishings for many years. Environmental protection, environmental compatibility and the use of indisputably ecological materials are the highest maxim for the manufacture of furnishings in our company. This is a part of our active role in environmental protection. We only use PVC-free synthetic materials. In the case of a fire, they do not present any additional hazard: the formation of hydrochloric acid and hydrochloric acid vapours is impossible. We are committed to permanent compliance to the compulsory regulations, guidelines and standards. All of the materials that we utilise are free of harmful chemicals or are well below the limits stipulated by the Hazardous Substance Ordinance. 11

SYNERGIE instructor s tables can be equipped with numerous functional units depending on the application scope. The fitting panel below the countertop is optically separated from the rest of the table and can be fitted with individual, separate functional units each with a length of 75-mm. If requirements change over a time, the panel installation can be augmented without any problems. The cupboards underneath the table offer ample space for storing utensils or they can be equipped with fittings for electricity distribution, sockets, a pull-out shelf for a video player or a propane gas tank. The spacious ceramic sink can be located either on the left or right and can be augmented with an emergency eye washer for the case of an eye injury. The table clamp for the gas hose secures the Bunsen burner extremely well. A frontal built-in subdivision in the instructor s table is the central control for the electrical installation in the entire room. It can be easily accessed by a double door, which can be locked. A pull-out DVD/video-recorder shelf, which can be comfortably reached while sitting, includes two electrical sockets for 230 V AC and Euro- AV Version (Scart). 14

There is a choice of table top depending on whether work will be conducted in wet or dry state. For dry work the very durable synthetic surfaces, which are ideally suited for this. They have an optional plastic or BU table edge. The great number of variants available is unique: external or built-in sink, with or without a niche for sitting, a uniform or combination table surface. The front-mounted protective shield is the ideal supplement for enjoyment and safety while experimenting it is retractable and can be pushed across the entire width of the table. 19 The energy cell. The SYNERGIE energy cell is the central supply unit for the student s working areas with gas, water and electrical installations. It is a perfect example of a user-friendly, space-saving, practice-oriented and aesthetic solution. It is particularly appropriate for use in classrooms with a flexible table arrangement. The energy cell can be easily connected to media lines on room walls by special connecting hoses. Gas, water and electricity supply the optimal solution for every application. The service wing AccoLift provides electricity, gas and media connections in a simple way from one central supply point using the ceiling to a work bench standing below. Therefore the AccoLift is moved out of it s rest position below the ceiling by an electric drive into working position. In work position (see the picture below), media connections can be turned on and off from the central supply unit. With this system, the individual utilization of rooms is possible. In rest position the AccoLift is out-of-sight and out-of-touch. When gas, electricity or data connections are needed, the AccoLifts swing smoothly down at the push of a central teacher s button. Accolift can be configured with different service modules: Standardized are modules for electricity, gas fittings and data connections. According to request, the AccoLift can be configured with different fittings and service modules. Configurations are one-sided or two-sided possible.
