Our automated tank cleaning system desludge, recovers oil, and clean tanks in a single closed looped system in the safest and most environmentally friendly way available and possible. Whether your Tank/Vessel stores refined crude product (Heavy Fuel Oil) and (Heavy Gas Oil) or the harsh and difficult- to- handle Bottom Sludge sediment, SlOP OIL; our unique system ( BLABO-MoCLEAN-SLOPO) technology from our partner (oreco),will from start to finish deliver quality cleaning of your tanks at a cost effective and safest possible manner. Oreco Blabo system The patented BLABO system is an automated, portable and modular NO ENTRY cleaning system for oil tanks. The system is designed for large volume tanks and oil tanks that are difficult to clean. The BLABO system can be adapted to your specific needs whether you need an effective tank cleaner or whether you also need sludge separation and oil recovery in one integrated process. BLABO is suited for floating or fixed-roof tanks used for storage or wash/processing purposes. We effectively clean large tanks with complex internal configurations that ordinarily are difficult to clean using regular cleaning methods. KTV NIGERIA tank cleaning and oil recovery system is a compact package comprising of high tech Robotic Remote control units (SLUDGE PUMPING), Acoustic Beam based mapping/contour calculating system and a dynamic explosive and hazardous gas management system-(nitrogen), an on - site nitrogen generator system for hazardous gas trapping or blanketing. We are equipped and experienced in cleaning any size and capacity of tanks, vessels; all types of tanks (fixed and floating roof) with complex internal configurations, whether on shore or off shore. With our package, it is easier, faster and safer for you to carry out your oil tank, vessel, pontoon, lagoon, fpso cleaning and oil recovery processes. Our personnel are highly trained, experienced and seasoned specialist in automated/ robotic tank cleaning. They are also experts in confined space operations and safety. The KTV Group Nigeria has a team with years of experience working with tank installations offshore, ships and rigs and onshore facilities like tank farms. Our cleaning/spraying robots carry out No Entry cleaning on small tanks while large tanks are cleaned using the Oreco BLABO System. We have extensive experience in cleaning large-volume crude tanks, crude product tanks, ships, lagoons, pontoons, fpso, skips etc. Our tank profiling equipment, estimates the precise quantity and volume of sludge in the tank and provide sufficient information about the cleaning operation ahead of start off. 5 KTV Group Nigeria Edge services X Our Edge services are uniquely cut-out and specialized tank cleaning related services that we have developed in collaboration with our world class technical partners to a stand-alone turn- key solutions in automated and safe tank cleaning support operation using the state- of- the- art technology based approach. They include: Tank mapping/profiling, Tank and confined space gas monitoring, Tank and confined space dangerous gas management (gas blanketing), On Site Nitrogen Generation/Supply. Tank mapping/profiling KTV Group Nigeria applies the T- type Sludge Mapping system to profile any kind of tank, pontoon and pits as well as vessels. The system is dynamic, safe and easy to operate. The patented T-Type Acoustic Inspection System measures the volume and topology of sludge sediments in the bottom of liquid storage tanks (e.g. crude oil). The system includes an ATEX certified tool that is inserted into the tank through a suitable access hole in the roof until fully submerged in the liquid. The end of the tool has an angled phased array that produces acoustic beams to scan a sector of the tank floor and wall. The PC based data acquisition produces a 3D display of the sediment layer and calculates the volume of sediment using the known geometry of the tank. Sector data from multiple entry points can be combined to give 100% coverage of the tank floor. On smaller tanks (<40m diameter) the entire tank bottom can be scanned from a single position. But on larger tanks (40m < 120m diameter) the scans from several entries are merged to give a composite image of the distribution and a sludge volume of the entire tank. With our Edge, there is no more the high risk manual contour or mapping system it is extremely safe and scientific, giving you the clear picture of the content of your tank so that you can make the right estimations and costing. We can render this service as part of the complete Tank cleaning package and also as independent services. Tank and confined space gas monitoring We have trained and certified Safety and Fire Watch personnel in our confined space operations. We also deploy AQ MONITOR in a non - stop gas monitoring procedure. With AQ MONITOR, personnel safety concerns are guaranteed. Personnel working in monitored environments can feel 100 % safe when this system is in use. Individualized monitors are unnecessary. The system also measures gases from solvents and flame cutters. Costs are reduced. Complete measurement data history is available for all hours and days. The sensors can be adapted to the customer s needs. All measurements can be are available in real-time, online. Tank and confined space dangerous gas management (gas blanketing) Degassing a tank to a safe working level, where the LEL and the percentage of O2 content is acceptable and habitable for a safe confined space work permit can take a reasonable part of the tank cleaning project schedule in terms of time, we avoid that completely by adopting the Gas blanketing system. The system involves trapping or blanketing the entire tank with an inert gas, Nitrogen from the beginning to the end of the project. Simply put, we can move in and start de- sludging your tank the moment you blind the tank and invite us in. The best part of our Gas blanketing system is that we generate the gas on the site using our NitroGEN system. It is cheap, safe, time saving, environmentally friendly, and simple to handle. On site Nitrogen generation /supply Nitrogen is highly useful in the oil and gas industry because of its properties: its non reactive, odourless, non polluting etc. It s inert nature makes it highly needed in the oil and gas industries and other atmosphere where inert conditions are desirable especially in tank blanketing. ROBOTS & ROBOTICS IN KTV TANKS AND PIPELINE SERVICES The future of tank cleaning and pipeline services is devices (robots) doing it rather than humans doing it. At KTV, we are already ahead on this. We employ robots in our pipeline and tank cleaning services. In collaboration with our partners, we have worked actively to incorporate new technologies into our strategic services delivery processes. Robots and robotics are essential element of our development. We aim at adopting robots in most of what we do in the years to come. We have robots that can climb steel structures and perform cleaning, flushing, inspection and surface treatment operations We apply robotic in our cleaning and surface treatment jobs. Our goal is to allow an operator to run his robots from a control rooms and eliminate demanding EHS operations. Our BlueTag quality assurance system logs in all documentation, images and videos and the operations can be monitored in real-time on a web-based platform. Some of the robots adopted in our services are built in ATEX versions enabling them to operate under water. Cleaning robots can perform tasks like washing down steel structures without the use of scaffolds or lifts. The robot is able to climb steel structures using magnets and run at high-pressure (up to 3000 bar). It can be used on vertical and horizontal surfaces. The robot is the result of many years of R&D and is especially suited for cleaning tanks, ships and rigs. The robot is also used to remove surface coatings. The robot is remote-controlled so tanks are cleaned from the outside, so-called No Entry systems.
