Control Area (CA) Ref a. Is one portable lantern installed in the CA? b. Is hands free capable intercom installed (weather tight enclosure, if located in weather)? c. Do washdown hose stations have a selectable feature in the CA, either fresh water or seawater? Primary supply, min press = 25 psi, max press = 40 psi. d. Is label installed at the weather entrance: "CASUALTY DECONTAMINATION STATION ENTRANCE FOR RECOVERY FROM CBR ATTACK, ENTER UPON COMMAND" e. Are labels installed at the proper quick disconnect fittings located at the CA: "FRESH WATER SUPPLY FOR FLUSHING THE WASHDOWN HOSE STATIONS" AND "SEAWATER SUPPLY FOR PERSONNEL DECONTAMINATION" f. Are labels installed at the appropriate intercom units: "HANDS FREE 2. Liquid Hazard Area (LHA) Ref a. Are route markers installed in weather areas to indicate the most direct route to the nearest access opening of the decontamination station? b. Decontamination station entrance marker is installed at each entrance door? c. A label plate reading ACCESS TO DECONTAMINATION STATION is installed on the weather door access? d. Door to Liquid Hazard Area operates properly and does not require adjustment e. Are two portable lanterns installed in the LHA near OVHD, one at each end of the roller table? f. Is hands free capable intercom installed? g. Is washdown hose station installed and hose of sufficient length (minimum length of 12 ft., but shall be of sufficient length to reach 1 ft. past the far side the roller tables. At least one of the hoses shall be of sufficient length to reach to all interior areas of the CAL. At least one of the hoses shall be of sufficient length to reach to all interior areas of the AAL)? h. Is Stainless Steel deck grating installed covering the entire deck w/exception of Roller Table deck track and support? i. REPLACE BANDAGES OR TOURNIQUETS UPON COMMAND AND RINSE/DECON SKIN AROUND WOUND AS DIRECTED NOTE: REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT OF IV BAG AND TUBING MAY BE NECESSARY TO REMOVE ALL CLOTHING 6. TRANSFER CASUALTY TO CASUALTY AIR LOCK THEN CLOSE DOOR AND SIGNAL TO PERSONNEL IN CONTROL AREA AND CPS TP ZONE 9. BAG AND REMOVE ALL CLOTHING AND EQUIPMENT 10. DECON GLOVES, SCISSORS, AND ROLLER TABLE 11. SIGNAL FOR NEXT CASUALTY 7. DECON THE CASUALTY 4. ADMINISTER ADDITIONAL EMT FOR SHOCK, WOUNDS, AND ILLNESSES WHICH ARE SO SEVERE THAT DELAY MAY BE LIFE OR LIMB THREATENING 5. BRING THE CASUALTY TO MEDICAL AS SOON AS POSSIBLE 10. Location.
